A brief Spoiler-free review
Idk if anyone will ever read it or not but I'm gonna do my best
First of all , if u r a Gintama fan and want to know all aspects of the story and characters then don't skip this or any ova Not to mention that it was amazing so don't skip it
Secondly , I gave this movie an 8/10 because of some issues I felt
The story -8
Unlike many unique Gintama arcs , the main plot of this story isn't really what's special about it but the character moments and the beautiful art and sound (direction)

Characters-8
As this movie is chronologically after season 3 , I knew all characters very well and so laughed and cried for the characters but one problem I had was that at certain parts even when I was laughing or crying I felt something was off and that certain characs. acting like this was strange ( Minor spoiler :- kagura and shinpachi did not know he was gintoki but then said odd jobs gin chan is coming)
Art-9 (beautiful charac designs)
Sound - 9 simply amazing
Ngl even if I didn't have problem with characters , I think I would still give this movie 8 Watching this may impact you positively on future content , making u appreciate it more but it's not certainly the best movie out there Since this was more like a shonen movie (mostly shonen movie are anime original and may or may not be considered canon) than benizakura (it was an important arc and part of the story which was also adapted in anime),
I can say that it was better in that sense as it had more enjoyment value but content wise Benezakura obv is better as the charct. didn't act out of place

Actually the comedy and sad parts and even the Joi 4 fanservice scenes in this movie were maybe the real reason why I loved this movie
To summarize it , the movie is amazing for hint fans and may also impact on future parts on Gintama but it's not the best movie ever It was very good or maybe great/masterpiece for others. Although the characs or plot felt unlike Gintama so much that I may have felt it being cringe , I still enjoyed it Especially the fanservice (Joi 4)
