Sekaiichi Hatsukoi
|
Junjou Romantica is similar to Sekaiichi Hatsukoi because both animes deal with same sex couples whom often misunderstand each other that lead to funny situations, both these animes deal with younger men with older more experienced men i.e. college students with teachers/authors so the characters have the same reactions in both of them, similar situations in the same environments that makes you think you have already seen a scene like this when watching one anime and then the other but no matter what anime you watch, the differences make one as enjoyable to watch as the other without it being too repetitive. Also, the comedy cuteness of each relationship in Junjou Romantica gives the viewer the exact same feelings when watching Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, it makes you either lol or go "awww" ^^. JR made me want all the couples to get together, to get over their misunderstandings and whilst SH has a bit more drama to it (the main couple has a shared past they need to get over whilst JR main couple have just met) it made me feel the same way. JR isnt creepy at all to watch, with only hints of love/lust between couples and the art of the men are has handsome and appealing to the eye in JR as they are in SH, so I strongly recommend that if you have watched one of these series and enjoyed it, you will definitely enjoy watching the other.

Both are Shoujo Rom-Coms; Both the MC High School Female try to get the MC Male to fall in love with them but the guys are cold/indifferent to the females because of a previous failed relationship they cant get over; though Kanojo has more a plot due to the manga revolving around the music industry and the MC Male is older than the school girl, both have a drama feel to them where you wish for them to become a couple after all they go through; both manga are now live action Jdramas and are as popular as the other despite the different subjects of each plot, the mangas are a very enjoyable read, so if you have read one, you should almost certainly read the other! Similarities:- Both have many volumes; Both are Shoujo Rom-Coms surrounding MC girls eager to play their favourite sport and progress their skills throughout (Volleyball/Basketball respectively); Both girls fall in love with the best male player on the boy's team; both live with the boys they fall in love with; some of the drama is quite similar too such as both the MC best boy player had a gf, found out she cheated on him, was heart broken enough to want to focus only on the sport they played so the MC female interferred ect... Dissimilarities:- In Power!!, the girl hides her identity and shares a room with the guy she falls in love with whilst in Beniiro Hero, the girl here lives in the dorm as its manager; In Power!! the girl is part of the boy's team whilst in Beniiro Hero, the girl has created her own girl team and is the ace of the team ... Overall they are quite enjoyable to read so if you like one, you'll like the other! XD

Fairy Tail

Fairy Tale and Bleach are shounen super-power action animes adapted from their perspective mangas with each Main Male Character getting into which include a lot of battles with many characters as they try to become stronger to protect their friends and generally they act like each other in personality, such as they hate seeing the weak get bullied and are dumb when it comes to girls and feelings of love towards them. Each MMC has a rival that hated them at first but eventually they became a strong team and good friends that also wanted to become stronger. This means that the comedy and reactions from others are the same due to the characters similar personalities, both animes seem light hearted at first dealing with friendships but soon the battles become dangerous, with more darker themes of betrayal and a foreboding sense that if the MMC dont become stronger, alot of people will die, so the suspense and intensity pace is about the same. If you like the suspense and action of one series, you will probably like watching the other.

Kuroko's Basketball and Big Windup are similar, not because of the sports they each portray but that each series has a pair of boys that team work is revolved around. In Kuroko's Basketball, the pair is Kuroko and Kagami and in Big Windup (baseball) it is Abe (Catcher) and Mihashi (Pitcher). Both Mihashi and Kuroko have similar personalities where they are not very confident in their skills at first but their dominant partners(kagami/abe) bring out their qualities for the good of the team and sports in general. If you like one, im positive you'd like the other as they are both brilliant! XD

Well,Both animes have same genres of Action, Horror, Demons, Romance ect. I think Inuyasha is much better than Blue Seed, only because Kagome doesnt scream as much as Momiji does from Blue Seed but both girls are in Middle school when they find out about demons n choose to fight them with friends, they both have special powers of a Priestess they have inherited from pervious ancestors, they both fall in love with a half demon, half human boy who fights to protect them, though not at first, both half demons had previous loves that have ties to each girl's past (With Inuyasha, he was in love with Kagome's past life Kikiyo n in Blue Seed, he fell in love with Momiji's older twin sister) they are very similar so if you liked one, you might like the other

They are both aimed at kids and not of a mature audience; They are both about ordinary girls in school who suddenly develop powers to rid the world of evil (to capture something and they both say a magical incantation to seal something away that has similar hiding places in each show that both girls have to sneak in without being detected), they both have a male rival that is both a classmate and magical rival that only tries to help them out, though in KKJ, the romance element is more obvious as they share kisses and date whereas in CCS, the boy and girl never confess to each other, Both girls have a magical staff/key to help them focus their powers, both have a magical companion to help them along with their mission..... If you like one, you might enjoy the other because they do have a lot in common with each other :)

They are both a type of Shounen-ai, with deep friendships between boys and Nezumi kinda reminds me of Luka from Uraboku (Uragiri wa Boku na Namae's short hand version name) because they both are honourable, they both try to protect a weaker, soft hearted and almost clueless boy that they are friends with, they are both in love with the other boy, despite the fact there arent any confessions.... both anime are fantasy/horror based too with interesting side characters.... I'd recommend both because the art is fantastic as is the use of colour, the fight scenes are exciting to watch and the friendships are too cute that make you want to goo "awww" lol :P

They are both about two girls trying in vain throughout high school to get two different boys to fall in love with them, who keep resisting, with their friends getting in the way so theres lots of comedy in both Lovely Complex and Itazura Na Kiss. I'd recommend watching these two anime because each show makes you want to know if the girls get their guys or not and they are both enjoyable to watch, both have been turned into live action japanese/korean dramas.

Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha

Both anime have a dark undertone with both Male Main Characters in each series that use supernatural powers with deadly intelligence and a decided lack of conscience as both characters have killed without remorse, Both series resolves around the main characters and their pasts whilst they go on missions with others assigned to them by an authoritative figure (in DTB MMC Hei is assigned to a team by a mysterious organisation as a contractor/assassin and in KNS, MMC Kazuma is assigned missions by his grandfather and is teamed up with his love interest/younger cousin and his brother), KNS is a bit more romantic then DTB and so is a bit softer but each MMC lost a female loved one which gives them both a trauma that they need to overcome and whilst DTB is more about crimes committed by other people and KNS is more supernatural, they both deal with the guys in each series wanting to do the right thing/justice due to the influences of the other characters as each series develops and this makes the viewer want to see them triumph over adversity, which gives a very similar feeling when watching one or the other. These animes give me the same feelings when watching them as they MMC are both the antihero types trying to be better than they were at the beginning (they didnt want to get involved too deeply with anyone or anything but somehow it fell to them to act), the animes have a bit of comedy that breaks up the dark feelings you get from watching the MMC and injustices going on in the background, and both have similar endings where the teams fight something evil after much lead up and makes you think "Whats going to happen next? they definitely make a season two!" so if these sort of feelings are for you then I recommend you watch DTB as well as KNS.

i think Hei (DTB) is like an assassin who works for a private organisation Called the Synicate (although he has supernatural powers which makes him a Contractor) and as such killed with his powers and with guns; Renji in Phantom: RFTP was turned n trained in Assassination, working for a private organisation called Inferno and has killed with guns, both men were apathetic/indifferent at first but then began to have emotions. Both assassins turn against their Organisation at the end of their respective series and go on the run with their partners, both men taught little girls how to become assassins/contractors (though in DTB it was in the second season when Hei did this) both men betray the little girls for another woman that they have been partners with; (hei was trying to save Yin and by doing so, condemned Suou to death) and (Renji killed his Calie to be with Erin) ....

The main boy characters started fighting when they were 15yrs old, both weild a sword and have to train to use their powers, both boys have friends with their own special abilities and have one friend that was afraid of them at first but got used to them, both boys want to get stronger to protect people although in Ao no Exorcist, Rin wants to get revenge on a powerful demon too....both Rin (Ao no exorcist) and Ichigo (Bleach) have the same personalities. Both Series have an adult man that knows something in each episode that the boys go to for advice and training, like in Bleach its Urahara, a former Soul Reaper and in Ao no Exorcist its the Chancellor of the High school, a demon that's also an Exorcist. Both animes deal with death and trying to fight supernatural beings bent on trying to kill everyone so there's this foreboding sense that if the MMC dont become stronger, alot of people will die, each episode showing more dangerous battles and situations then the last so the suspense, action and intensity is about the same, until they reach a showdown with the individuals causing all the "I will kill you and all your friends because I hate that you live" feelings they come across in each battle. If you like the suspense and action of one series, you will probably like watching the other.
