For what I've seen now in these first four episodes I wouln't recommend watching it.
I'm gonna spoiler what I've seen since.
The female lead Shiori, princess of an island, decides to leave her island for a bit to start working with mangaka Ichirou.
A very short time passes when all of a sudden, while both are working together, he accidentally touches her on her "tail".
According to her island's rules he's now promised to her and they'll have to marry each other! (Not much more is explained about this).
Now, he's a bit shocked by this fact and wants to find a way to call it off. And
...
here I agree with him! I mean, they've only started to know each other, we've seen a bit of chemistry between them sure, but developing romance this way seems too forced to me. And Shiori thinks that too!
Going on, we see no character development from both sides and no romance development (not enough for how ep 4 ends!).
Sure they're a bit attracted to each other and blush every now and then, but we haven't seen such a connection between them to come to a confession!
From Shiori's point of view I still quite get it, she's a bit of an outsider, doesn't know much about love and relationships, feels flustered and confesses her love to him in a rush... But for him to say "I love you" back that soon... I didn't like that and it didn't seem genunine to me.
He still wants to annull the engagement, and gives a reasonable explanation to her, but then confesses her love to her?? Why not first ask her out and show us a bit of a development of affection towards each other, and only then a confession?
Also, didn't like the fact that he feels physically bad due to their connection if he makes her sad or he's physically a bit distant, I get it that it's part of the plot but seems a bit toxic to me.
