Let me be honest: I think Skeleton Double is great. I'm genuinely surprised by its low rating here on MAL. So as an attempt to combat it, I'll now try to convince you why you should read it and give it a good rating
Story: Probably the least impressive part of the whole thing, but interesting nonetheless. The skeleton and first few chapters might feel pretty basic, but, as te rest of Skeleton Double, it really feels grounded in reality of its fantasy world. I'll try to spoil as little as possible here, but there were no "why doesn't it work like this" It makes no
...
sense, no person would do that" moments, often present in other mangas or anime. 8/10
Art: Art of Skeleton Double is pretty basic, but it carves its own niche in the manga landscape making it easily distinguishable from everything else. The action scenes are clear and comprehensive, characters look consistent, overall really well done. 8/10
Characters: I think this is where Skeleton Double shines the most. No character feels one-dimensional, they all behave as actual human beings would, with distinct motivations and reasoning for their action, which isn't really common in all the manga filled with fun but simple caricatures of human beings. 9/10
Enjoyment: This is probably the reason why Skeleton Double has a rating this low. Due to al the realism I described earlier, it really doesn't flow as fast as other stories, focused on more mindless fun. If you like the type of story it offers, then You'll love Skeleton Double, if you're in for a simple mindless action, then You will probably end up unpleasantly surprised. 9/10
Overall rating: I really love Skeleton Double. There aren't many stories like this, and if you're looking for something slower and more grounded while still being action-oriented, then this is the manga for you. If you just want fast action, I'd probably skip this one

Takopi's Original Sin is not a happy manga, that much is obvious from the cover. So, is it a sad manga, that will make you cry, ar an edgy funny one, that will make you laugh at all the bs? Well, as far as the first three chapters, released for free in mangaplus on 24th of February, go, this one seems to fall into the second type, although there's still some hope. So let's look closer at what we are dealing with here.
Story: It's honestly relatively cliché, a being that doesn't understand bad emotions meets with a a very radical representation of them, and fails
...
to comprehend them in its narrow view of reality. The one thing that makes it look slightly better, is the time travel, which changes the dynamic to more of a ReZero-esque type of work, but honestly, it just isn't enough to give it more than a 6
Art is probably the biggest highlight of the entire comic. It looks dirty, you can almost feel the terrible state everything is in. The only part which i could complain about are the faces, they sometimes look really sloppy, but you could account that as part of the style, overall an 8, it does its job well, but there isn't any point in reading this one purely for the art
Characters are relatively well written, but they aren't really that complex, at this pint in time i thin you should expect something more than "I'm this cliché, that does this bad thing, but i actually have a reason, which would be a twist but has been used so many times that it's just a cliché now". That said, there still is some room to grow in that department, so i hope it can stop being so edgy and grow into a really good story
That said, i enjoyed the time i had reading the first three chapters, i didn't make me laugh thinking "This makes no sense at all", and i have high hopes, so the enjoyment and overall scores are a solid 7 for me

So, ten chapters in, and nobody gave Koukousei Kazoku a proper review here on MAL? Well then, guess I'll do it, cuz i think it's really a great series and should be praised a little more than a "Fine" metascore.
So, Let's start with the story, as it's the first in partial ratings. Not much to say there cause it's a gag manga with no particular plot, but i can tell you that almost every chapter is really wholesome pack of heartwarming and absurd character interactions. Overall 8/10 for really well mixed wholesome absurdity
Second comes the art: It's pretty simple, but the almost childish
...
drawings really add to the overall atmosphere of chaos. Solid 8/10 for me
Now about the characters: Here we have the titular family (Middle-aged salaryman, the housewife, little daughter, a cat and our protagonist) and people at school (the cliches you know from most of school-based anime and manga). Chemistry between the family is really good (making it believable even in this bizarre setting) and their unusual interactions with rest of the cast are really fun to follow. They're definitely great
As for the enjoyment: I laugh hard at every new chapter, and the heartwarming bits really manage to land, I honestly think 9/10 won't be an overstatement about how fun this series is
Overall it's 9/10 for the amount of laughs i got out of it, and how it can drop some little serious bits between them. I think you really should give this one a chance if you like absurdly wholesome series
