Both are anime which revolve around a young, powerless protagonist who works hard and pushes themselves to greater strength. Both are very good anime for new watchers.

Both anime have protagonists who start off "broken" but throughout the course of the anime, find friends who help them become a better version of themselves.

...then you might like Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai add

The main characters of both anime are people who are bored of their regular high school life but they meet people who change them completely. Both are movies which are good for new anime watchers who have difficulty watching longer shows.

If you liked Koe no Katachi add

...then you might like Kimi no Na wa. add

They both revolve around a main character who is bored and has had enough of their mundane life, when they meet people who change them. I highly recommend both of these anime to beginners as they are short movies and are easy to watch as new anime watchers may have difficulty watching a longer series.
