To you eternity presents an original concept that I haven't seen presented in this particular manner before.

The main charcter, an immortal being named Fushi, meets a new side character and grows from forming emotional bonds with said character before moving on to meet the next one.

This concept does get repetitive after a while tho. It becomes obvious what is going to happen to every character that is newly intruduced, which makes it hard to get emotionally invested. (It doesn't help that the opening literally spoils everything). There also doesn't seem to be an overarching message or theme past the first few episodes.

Kinda ... spoilers:
I expected some of the characters to pass away from old age, which is something that would be possible because of the unique elements of this anime in particular (cuz the mc is immortal) so it was kinda disappointing that the characters seemingly always immediatly die after meeting Fushi. This seems like a wasted oppertunity to be more original and explore different themes like the finiteness of life in a unique way.

The main enemies feel like a gimmick and get boring after a while.

The animation is decent to mediocre in some episodes.

I feel like this show could have been so much more than it ended up being. It is still decent tho.

On paper, this anime shouldn't have been very exciting to watch, but somehow I ended up enjoying it more than most shows that are similiar in concept.

Story
The plot revolves around the Demon Lord from a fantasy world that gets transported to modern day Japan and has to try his best to integrate into society. Other characters follow him into the real world as well, some to defeat him and some to serve him, but all of them are forced to try their best to look for a job to earn some money to survive in their new enviroment after they realize that the previously ... so evil Demon Lord has no intention of harming anyone in the foreseeable future. The best way to describe this Anime would be "a reverse Isekai with a slice of life twist".

So far it doesn't seem any differnt from your generic seasonal fantasy anime, but somehow this one manages to stick out to me.

One of the things that make this show so fun to watch is definetly the pacing. While there may be a couple of reacuring jokes, the story isn't stuck at one specific plotpoint longer than necessary. The mix between the slice of life , romance (even though it is kinda harem level), comedy and action are perfect for a casual watch.

Characters
While the characters aren't particularly deep or layered on their own, they really work well as a cast. One of the most entertaining aspects of the show is to see how these stereotypical fantasy characters try to fit in into our society and overcome everyday problems that the audience can relate to. The only character that kind of annoyed me is Chiho, the senior at the main characters workplace. She is basically the "please notice me senpai" trope, but even then,at least she has logical reason to like the main character, like his social skills and his hard work, which are completly different from the usual generic Harem/ Isekai main characters that are insufferable incel douche bags.

Art
The character design is kinda generic, but the animation for the fights is better than expected, considering that action isn't even the main aspect of the show.

Sound
Both the opening and the ending weren't all that memorable, the voice acting was pretty decent.
The general soundtrack didn't stick out to me all that much, but it always fit the mood quite well.

Conclusion
The show is really self aware and doesn't try to be something that it isn't. While there isn't really something deep or life-changing about it, there isn't a moment that makes you fall asleep. It's like an average seasonal anime, but it's only the best moments. I would recommend it if you want a casual and relaxing Anime to watch that doesn't require too much of you brainpower.
