I have to say that to some extent, I was disappointed, as I expected far more from this anime. Of course, don't get me wrong as I simply love watching anime that has a supernatural theme, with a hint of romance in it as well. But this romance part, is a bit too cliched and typical, like it is with most shows. We see Karin as she falls in love with Usui, and how their relationship develops in an awkward teenage love setting, as Karin tries to deal with managing her nosebleeds. None the less, it's just your typical love story, but with an addition
...
of the fact that Karin is a vampire that injects blood, and does the complete opposite of what you would expect from her character. Of course, the relationship is not in fact the strongest point of the anime. None the less, there are comedic moments, which in fact make up for this.
On the other hand though, I have to admit that what truly made the show, what it is, is Karin's family. From the quite, reserved yet influential Anju, is always there for Karin. I liked her character in particular, as unlike the rest of her family, she is the one who seems to keep her cool the most. Unlike Ren, who loves flirting, and often gets scolded by his mother. Whilst her parents are found to be very opposite to each other, with her father being the "softie" whilst Karin's mother is who keeps everyone, and everything in check. Of course, we can't forget Elda, Karin's grandmother who with her almost girly attitude when it comes to Karin, is truly one of a kind of a character on the show. Which I suppose, is why I really like her character, as she truly stands out, especially when she is around Karin. It's almost like she has a split personality. Overall, I feel like the divide on how the characters are, is what truly makes this show what it is.
As for the overall appearance of this show, it was interesting. From the colour pallets, to the art style of the characters, it was all fitting with the show. I have to say that, this art style has keep true to the original story, from the manga, even though it has strayed away the greater details, and it could have done so much better, if it kept more true to the manga story.

Sakamoto Desu ga? is one of those shows that can make you laugh, but this is certainly not a show for everyone. With it's unique sense of humour, and a storyline, which does not actually follow any specific concepts, instead it presents you with various scenarios, that Sakamoto goes through on a daily basis. With his cool headed character, and the way in which he preforms various task, in a matter of fact over exaggerated way, which most of us find ridiculous. But for Sakamoto, no task is truly a challenge, as he performs it in a matter of fact perfect way. With his
...
upfront attitude, you simply cannot dislike his character completely. The fact that all of the actions seems to be centred about him being a perfect class example, and doing everything perfectly, seems a slight drag on. Of course, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the comedic moments of this show, but none the less like most shows out there, there's of course place for improvement. Perhaps the creators, of this how could have given the show different perspectives, like focusing a bit more on how other people around him, react to the way he performs his actions, or maybe have a focus on what they think of him. Of course, not saying that this show was bad, but there could have been more added to it, to make it seem less like a repetitive concept of him being a perfectionist in everything.

I have to say that out of the entire series of this manga, this was by far the one i have enjoyed the most. Compared to the other ones, I feel like the story had an overall great flow, and in comparison to the other ones, it did not seem like it was dragging on. As well as that, the fact that there was a back story of what actually happened to Mina's mother was good as well. Not only that, I feel like overall, the characters have developed so much more, in Scarlet Order, than they have in the previous two manga's. I do
...
have to say, that even though this was by far the best manga from this series, I still feel like overall Dance in the Vampire Bund, simply has too much dialogue. It's not so much I hate it, but the fact that as a reader it seems like we are thrown a lot of dialogue to process, at once. Of course I'm not discouraging anyone from reading this, as the series is good, but if you can't keep the focus on long pieces of dialogue, then I suggest you take this manga bit by bit. Regardless, story was good, the overall development was also good, and the fact that the continuation, did not drag on, instead it dwelled further into the storyline. Recommend highly if you enjoy vampire stories.

Well I have to say that this was a rather interesting movie, but I need to point out a major flaw. This was simply found rushed to me, as I feel like there was simply not enough time, in that hour to really tell the story. Unlike the manga, there is no real development of their relationship, nor other feelings like jealousy are shown, like it has been in the manga. It's a bit of a shame, since I felt like that is what really made the manga what it is, and it could have been easily incorporated into the movie too. Maybe if this
...
made into an anime instead of a movie, then perhaps that cold have been expanded on better.
As for the art, I have to say it was one of a kind, it's certainly not one that I see often. So I really have to say well done to the creators of this, from going out of if you like the norm type of art for anime. I feel like it truly has show something completely different, in comparison to the main stream anime and manga.
The characters were truly adorable. The way in which they interact in an "awkward" way was really sweet. You can see that they are falling for each other, but neither of them seems to know how to go about it. Their character's are truly a gem.
Well overall all I can say is that you need to have a go at this movie, even if there are aspects which some may not find appealing, this is still worth the trouble.

This was a rather interesting read, as this manga is rather light-hearted, with an easy going, and non-complex storyline, about female protagonist who wants to get into a male-only music school.
I did enjoy the fact that, it actually based the characters on real life people, and that the story actually incorporated some real life facts about the musicians. I actually started looking all the musicians up, after I finished reading this manga.
I also enjoyed the art style of this manga, as I feel like it portrayed the real-life musicians well, and it actually tried to keep close to how the real-life artists
...
actually looked like.
Only down point for me would be the fact that, it was a bit short, and felt a bit rushed as well. It could have done with a few more chapters, to perhaps expand upon the real-life musicians a bit more.
Other than that, defiantly an interesting story, which I actually enjoyed reading. Worth a try.

I probably say this in many of my reviews, but I will say it anyway. I honestly loved this series, and it is one of my many top manga's of all time. It's certainly not your typical vampire story, as I have previously read not only manga, but also actual books about vampire stories, and I have to admit this is a one of it's kind. It is one of a kind, with a day walking vampire, which in fact injects blood instead of feeding on others. I have to say that, it's even better than the anime, which I have watched a few years
...
back, as it gives more emphasis on the overall storyline, and there is simply just so much more going on. I feel like with the manga, there was more space to expand on Kenta's and Karin's relationship, and unlike the anime I feel like it captured it not only in a different way, but also in a much better context. I also like the fact, that even thought Karin is a vampire, jut like the rest of her family, but she acts just like any school girl her age would, which I just love about in her character. Highly, highly recommend by me, not only if you seen the anime, but if you like romance and vampires, then you should give this manga a try.

Bobobo-bo is certainly an anime of one of it's kind. With the hilarious character of Bobobo, and so many hilarious moments, with not only Bobobo, but also Don Patchi, Beauty, Hekkun and the others it's certainly something that should be watched. With many quirky moments, that are not expected, especially during the fight scenes, it will certainly make you carry on watching. Perhaps, the characters are rather unusual at some moments, but you will quickly get to like them, with their varied attitudes, to their adventure. At some times it may question their character, but it would quite certainly make you want to watch further.
...
In addition to that, what really caught my attention is the opening song. It truly is one of a kind, and it's super catchy, so be warned, you may want to listen to it on repeat. Whenever it's true to the manga, I am yet to see, as I haven't read it, but regardless of whenever you watch or read first, you should see this anime.

I have to admit, this story made me hold my breath, especially at the end of the story. None the less, let me get to the major points first.
As for the plot of this story, I found it be rather interesting, and unique in it's own way, with the fact that they had to overcome obstacles, which I feel like allowed the story to develop in the way that it did. I have to say, at first i did not quite like the attitude of the antagonist, but I came to realise that in fact no one was truly an "evil" character to begin
...
with. They just simply had their own reasons, for going about things the way that they did.
As a whole the storyline kept well together, and I feel like there was nothing actually missing from it. Perhaps, there could have been just a few more chapters, to see how the story could develop, after they have over came their struggles. At firs though, I have to admit I was confused as for the genders, I though that in fact one of the main characters, was in fact a male not a female. This is just unfortunately my misunderstanding of the story. I thankfully realised that this was not the case, rather quickly.
I probably say this not only in many of my reviews, but just in general, that this is in fact one of my many favoured mangas. I recommend that if you want a Yuri story, that does not follow a typical storyline, and concept then you should give this manga a try. Highly recommend it.

This story was a great read. From the first chapter, I felt like you could really get drawn into the story, and really get to know what the characters are like. Funny enough, it was not until the second chapter that I realised that, they are in fact daughter and father (shock!) Honestly, I had no idea, they seemed like siblings to me (ahaha...) Either way, I enjoyed this story, as it is super heartwarming, but also sweet, and I felt like it really drawn me into their world. With each chapter, you find out more of the main character's relationship, and how much they
...
care for each other, regardless of their tough past, and this is what I also like in this manga. Certainly, if you want to read something that you will be "aww-ing" after, then I certainly recommend that you try with this one. Since it's short, it is a rather quick read, therefore you will easily want to wish that there was more to the story. The only minus that I want to point out, is the art. It's not quite my thing, but I still think that it fits with this particular story. Not trying to be picky, but as what I mainly look into when choosing a manga to read, is the storyline, but i feel like this goes pair, in pair to make the story for what it is.
(p.s. If I got their relationship to each other wrong, then apologies, because I can't figure it out. Maybe someone can clear that up for me ^^)

This is by far one of the most gripping manga's I have read, and with so much going on you simply want to read further to find out what happens next.
I remember watching the anime a few years ago, but I never found myself to go to the manga, until recently, and oh my I truly wish I have. As far as I remember, this series stays true to the anime, and the manga just simply expands on the anime version of this series.
With the aspect of romance, betrayal, prejudice and some elements of adventure, it is certainly worth the read. Especially, if you
...
enjoy supernatural and adventure in one.
The main downfall of this series, I would say is the art itself. I mean I'm not complaining or anything, as I have not seen any previous work of this artist, but I just feel like it was not quite there. Maybe, I will change my view if I see some other works of this artist.
Overall, great work, and certainly worth the trouble, as this is not quite your typical vampire story. Therefore, this is a definite recommendation from me, to those who enjoy reading about supernatural beings.
