Strike the Blood. A must watch!

Okay. Well, first of all, this anime was never on my continuously growing watch list.
And I said was. And this was because of the lousy thumbnail or cover art or whatever you call that. But this anime proved the saying that you must judge the book not by its cover, or in this case, do not judge an anime by its cover.

After watching a few episodes, it is really great! It has a great mix of action, romance, ecchi and comedy at times. It was really a great watch. The story was great, though overused for some I guess.Each episode ... is well executed leaving some hangers behind leaving you wanting for more, wanting to know what will happen in the next episode.

The soundtrack is also great. It has a mix of soft sad sts, and fast-paced adrenaline rushing sts. And not to include a badass opening theme song.

It maybe good but it definitely have some flaws, like too much girls for the main protagonist and the fight scenes were a bit dull and overly used techniques were used by the main characters.

This maybe a biased review but this anime is worth watching. My final score would be 9. :)

I have an interesting story of how I came up with with this anime. I have actually seen a screenshot posted on a social networking with a boy holding a girl and covering his mouth saying "One peek and I rape you".

In short I became curious and asked what anime was it taken from. And they answered Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. As I began watching it, the anime is far from what I expected! (I expected it to be somewhat ecchi because of the screenshot.). But no, it was not ecchi and yet I fell in love with it making it the top anime of last ... season.

The story is about a socially challenged girl who cares nothing about but her grades and she is paired with an innocent troublemaker(ironic indeed). But the pairing worked out. The story may not be unique but the way the author develops the plot is really refreshing and is what you should look out for. The combination of comedy and romance without nudity and harem is exceptional.

Character design were also great! The quality may not standout at first but upon continuous watching, you will definitely fall in love with them especially Shizuku and Natsume.

The sound, how can I describe it, it is awesome and near perfect. The sound is appropriate for the scenes. And it comes with different versions, at one scene they will play a piano version and on the next episode a guitar version of the same wondeful song plays. The soundtrack in the beginning of episode 3 is my personal favorite.

Enjoyment. Do I need to say more? Yes, I super enjoyed watching this anime. This made me a fan of the Rom Com genre. The plot progression is superb and I never failed to watch it upon release.

Yes. It is a perfect ten, from the story down to enjoyment. It seems like everything went perfect for this anime. Truly amazing.

This may be a bit early for a review since this is just an ongoing anime but let me relate to you some of my insights upon watching its first episodes.

Reasons why i rate this anime a 7 are the following.

Story: Rating 6. Why 6? Well, the plot of this anime is not that original not to say an abused type of plot where an ordinary kind guy, works hard and therefore starts to build up relationships and in the process gaining harem. He gains his harem by starting a club which is a bit common to high school flicks these days.His harem includes a ... childhood friend, a popular girl with a dilemma and etc.

Art: Rating 9. In my opinion the animation is one of the best this season especially at episode 1 where the guy wore a knight outfit.

Enjoyment: Rating 7. Only seven because there's a point where you'll get bored and will want to skip certain scenes. It is also predictable so you won't be excited upon seeing the next episode.

Sound. Rating 9. Listen to the opening theme and that will explain to you why 9. The BGMs are also quite cool.

So yeah. Overall. It is a 7. I have seen a lot of anime of this type, and they did better than this anime, so maybe that affected my ratings.

Yes you are right! Katsuragi Keima, the God of Conquest is back and is ready to track down and capture more loose souls or should I say more girls instead? It is just like the first season however the producers did a greater job on this one.

How is it better? First of all is the story. Things got more explained here. Another thing is that the animation is improved, as a proof, if you watched the first season, you can notice a big difference with Chihiro's appearance. Yes, the humor and the cuteness is still there. Plus, the harem is a bit better than the ... previous season part which is another demon like Elci.

So in conclusion, if you are into the romantic comedy plus harem type then you would definitely like this anime. It is definitely a must watch.

P.S. Season 3 is already green lit so better hurry so you wouldn't miss out the fun.

Before watching this anime, I instantly fell for the illustration of the main female protagonist. Yeah, the main reason I started to watch this was because of the female character. But contrary from my first view of the anime, which is a basic ecchi/romance anime, the story began to materialize. The characters began to develop and for each development, some issues were inevitable.
Overall, it is a must watch anime which integrates romance with the daily struggles of school life. An anime that will inspire you to do your best at all times.

I really liked this anime. First thing I liked about this anime is the art. It has a different style making it stand out from the other animes this season. Second is it has a great combination of romance, action, magic and comedy. By having this great mix, it makes you fall deep into the story without making you bored. It also includes lessons about real life economics which are well integrated in the story, thus making you learn something from just watching anime.
Another thing is it has great Seiyuus which makes it more interesting.
