The anime has a beautiful artstyle and is able to transport you to a whole different world through very well written characters and plot . Its been a long time since i had that magical feeling watching something.
Nenes caracter is just adorable and if you are a girl u ll definetly relate !
I love how every caracter has its own fears and desires and eventhough the anime is overall very light and entretaining to watch it still deals with topics like death and abuse . Sadly ,theres no second season yet because i had the feeling it was getting more intense as the episodes ... passed.
The romantic scenes are also very good i must say , i am very much a shoujo fan and i was very satisfied with them .

Leaving aside the age difference the anime is very bad for 3 reasons

1. It’s a “shoujo” : I’ve watched tons of shoujos and i can definetly say this is not it. It’s not written from a female perspective ergo the love scenes are not sweet at all , Keiyas character could be very good but it isnt ,it lacks sensibility . Yes, he hugs her and strokes her hair and blablabla but its not appropiate with the context , when i was watching the anime i most certainly did not get butterflies i just got weirded out and he constantly seemed like an old ... pervert , which does not necessarily have to be the case with such big age differences in anime because when its well written u can forget about it and it can be interesting to see how she handles it.

2. The story: The concept is cool but then such random things happen (spoiler) like suddenly last episode the guy who was interfering in their romance threatens to stab her , i get they are yakuzas but honestly it was too random. Another thing is the dynamic between keiya and this third party , its awful , the guys character is worse then keiyas . Usually when an annoying third party interferes in a shoujo he at least has some kind of appeal and makes the main lead realize he has to get his mind straight w the girl , but no , Keiya just punches randomly every guy who crosses her path which doesnt make it cute or special anymore just annoying.
The female friendships the mc has are horrible , they aren’t even secondary characters they are npcs and they still get screen time because apparently this is so badly written that its supposed to be a fun female interaction?

3. Animation:
Its the worst i have seen in a while . The mouths dont move accordingly to the voice acting, the characters have one funny looking eye suddenly , they walk like robots and its overall bad

I must say its still entretaining to watch because its very random and you will become amazed at how weird and bad this anime can be
