Stunning. This show is the breath of fresh air the anime industry needed. Never before have I seen a show go to such lengths to cover its bases. The voice acting, music production, even the screen lighting is some of the most top notch work I've seen in a very long time. A few weeks back, I mentioned in an article that I had started Ousama Game over a decade ago and dropped it because it bored me. To anime fans, this is about the same as saying, “I really love the Bible but I am not keen on this whole God character.” Boy ... was I wrong. Putting off the masterpiece of Ousama game was the single greatest mistake of my life. A lot of people tell me that Ousama game is what got them into anime. And it's easy to see why: It's nothing like the vast majority of American cartoons of its time. Ousama game is the primary stepping stone into the highly coveted elitist realm of anime.
