Koukaku no Pandora is probably the most underrated series of the season, mainly because people generally shun away from series like this before even giving it a try.
People are generally more interested in action type anime with a male mc on their front cover. So when you have a series like this, with 2 really young looking girls with a synopsis that doesn't seem to have any deep plot, it gets overlooked very easily.
However, Koukaku no Pandora is a show that manage to combine its yuri elements into a comedy that makes you want to watch more of. I immediately liked Nene and Clarion
...
when I saw them. This show also have a good mixture of its insane randomness and random comedy moments in the background that makes it so enjoyable to watch.
Definitely would recommend to give this series a try!

This series is rated lower than it deserves partly because many have judged the anime too quickly and dropped it since. Also, due to this, there are many lowly rated reviews for this anime. However, I'll be delivering my take on this anime.
Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm - The REAL Proper Review
Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm is an anime that could have had the potential to be a really great anime but was plagued by its origin. "Eroge" & "Visual Novel" Lets take a deeper look why it meets its demise when compared other animes of the season.
Most anime are adapted &
...
serialized from its manga counterpart. Manga are usually known & recognized for its deep plot/content. Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm on the other hand is adapted from its visual novel known for its eroge. Most visual novels serving its "eroge" purposes have little to no real plot by default. Furthermore, its "sports" focus further reduce its chances for any deep plot to come by.
However with Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm, I think they have done pretty well despite being a "sports" anime. It's actually deeper than it seems and gets better at later episodes.
Story - 6/10
Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm revolves around a sports called "Flying Circus" The goal of the sports, by flying through the use of Grav shoes, is to score points by touching its buoys in sequence "1,2,3,4" or scoring a hit on the opponent's back. Or so it seems... This is when the real plot begins to surface.
Do not JUDGE its plot before Episode 7, because that's where it really showed how deep it really is.
When you love & know something so well, for example in a game, (In this case, FC) then all of a sudden, someone new just came & destroyed your concept of that. You become afraid, because the very thing you are so familiar & close to, becomes something you no longer understand.
That's what Misaki felt. FC became something "dark".
All these while, FC to her, was about touching buoy or hitting each other's back. A simple and fun sport. But Inui broke that concept. Instead of playing the game, she intensely pressures the opponent by restricting & denying whatever her opponent tries to do. It becomes a mental sports and makes you feel inferior & powerless. That's the "beauty" Inui and Saki sought. However, Asuka, being that carefree girl, may not fully understand the "dark" Misaki began to see. To Asuka, it is an exciting new territory of the game. But Misaki became afraid of FC, became afraid of Asuka. She could not accept how Asuka could think that way.
Art - 6/10
Brilliant & Radiant. This anime is just beautiful to look at.
Sound - 8/10
One of the best anime's OST I've heard in a while. If you actually listen closely, you will notice. One example I can give is in Episode 6.
Listen closely to the OST:
05:04 to 06:02.
16:22 to 17:47.
17:47 to 19:45.
Character - 6/10
I love the contrast between Asuka and Misaki's mindset. As I've explained earlier.
Masaya Hinata is your secretive hidden ace badass. He is shown to be rather highly intelligent.
Asuka Kurashina is your slightly clueless clumsy cute female MC with innate potential in FC that she doesn't really know about.
Misaki Tobisawai is strong female character that is also smart. Realizing the "dark" in FC.
Mashiro Arisaka is your kawaii little loli with cute obsession with Misaki.
Aoi Kagami is your ultimate hidden ace triumph card that you hope she would just come out and whoop everyone's ass.
Enjoyment - 6/10
I really like all the characters. There's a good variety in personalities and good comedy. I like seeing Asuka's sillyness, Mashiro's cute obsession with Misaki. Hinata & Kagami being the hidden badass retired aces.
Overall - 6/10
Honestly, I really enjoyed this anime despite being poorly received by the community. A good mix of comedy, action with its beautiful art, amazing OSTs. Would definitely recommend to give this series a try and watch till the very end.

Back in Spring 2015, when I was looking for potential animes to watch. Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan caught my eye. I read the synopsis. It was as follows:
The story is set in a world where humanity, driven off the land by the threat of magical armored insects, now live in aerial floating cities. Thus wizards — aerial combat mages who fight the insects with magical powers — came into being.
Kanata Age (Eiji) is a young man who lives on the floating wizard academy city of "Misutogan." He was once celebrated as the "Black Master Swordsman," the elite ace of the S128 special team. However,
...
he is now despised as the "traitor of the special team."
I thought to myself, this sure sounds it could potentially be the top contender for the Summer 2015 anime season.
I could not be more wrong. This is probably the worst anime of 2015 and one of the worst anime I've ever seen.
This is exactly how I finished watching the series:
1. Hmm, the girls are somewhat cute.
2. Why am I still watching this? Nvm, it's just a 12 episode series. And I still need to know why he called a traitor.
3. Holy shit, this anime is freaking terrible.
4. That's the end? It's over? Wait... What was the whole show about again?
Story: 1/10 (I would give a 0 if I could.)
What plot? What story? Who needs that when you are watching this crap!? Awesome fights with beetles!? None of that sort! Just forget about what you read in the synopsis!! No explanations or backstory to the beetles or its origin. Everything is in a mess here. I could try to spoil you but I can't, since there is no plot at all!! But, I will try anyways!!
Episode 1: Generic Introduction!
Episode 2 - 5: We need to train! Let's spend the next 4 episodes training for the match!
Episode 6: HA! You don't even get to see the match they spent 4 episodes training for.
Episode 7 - 11: Let's train!
Episode 12: Fight scenes so amazing, I rather watch Goku charge up his Spirit bomb. This is how it went for the final showdown. Float left, float right, still images, more still images. Boom, it's over.
There, I spoilt it for you! Ha!
Art: 2/10
The only redeeming factor, girls are somewhat cute.
Animation: 0/10 (I don't care anymore. I don't care if the lowest score I can give is 1/10, because it deserves a 0.)
The worst action/battle I've seen EVER in anime history. I get more excited watching 2 still images hitting each other (Even Pokemon Battle animation in Pokemon Yellow in Gameboy colour is more interesting than this crap!!) I rather watch Goku charge up his spirit bomb and go AHHHHHH for 3 episodes. Stickman animations have 100x better fight scenes than what you will get here.
Sound: 2/10
Nothing special to talk about. Gets a 2 because the op is not bad to me.
Character: 1/10
There wasn't any character development other than Misora but even then it was cringy and uninteresting.
Enjoyment: 2/10
To be honest, the first episode started off pretty decently for me. It got me interested. Then everything went to hell real fast from there onwards and you spend the remaining of your time wondering why the heck am I still watching this. The reason why this is a 2 is because I enjoyed wondering how bad an anime can get and was amused at how bad this anime is, it made me appreciate every other anime out there.
On behalf of everyone who managed finish this series, only 2 things kept us going:
1. Girls are cute.
2. WHY IS HE A TRAITOR!? STOP CALLING HIM A TRAITOR!! JUST TELL ME ALREADY.
The worst anime of 2015 by far, and one of the worst anime I've seen. Absolutely disgusting.
Overall: 2/10 (Literally given a 2 because the girls are cute.)

Before I start, I'll have to disagree with megaan about some of the points mentioned, and that giving this anime a score of 4 is the biggest insult in anime history.
First of all, to state that the characters' personalities are outright flat and that their conversations with each other are boring already showed glaring flaws in the review. Akagami no Shirayuki-hime is not your typical anime nowadays that over-dramatize everything to invoke humor/or just to bring a point across.
This anime focuses on its more relaxed nature and keeping its innocence. It's like giving a bad review/score for a romance anime because it doesn't
...
have good fighting scenes. Her review is just flawed in that sense. I will only agree that the plot is abit on the bland side, though a well tradeoff to preserve its relaxed innocent nature.
If you were looking for an action-packed anime like Shingeki no Kyojin, then this isn't the anime for you. And perhaps meegan reviewed this based on that.
However, if you are into romance and slice of life genre then I'd recommend this to you.
Akagami no Shirayuki-hime Review:
Akagami no Shirayuki is unlike your typical cliche romance anime whereby girl meet boy, goes crazy for boy or is only there for ecchi bullshit cliches. It focuses on its calm and more relaxed nature as suggested by its bgm even at the very start of the first episode. Its romance sets them miles apart from your typical shoujo.
Over here, the romance is very pure and innocent. Our beloved characters can hold proper conversations without any cliche moments/ecchi fanservice. The interaction between the characters are very refreshing in that sense. The scenes and conversations are well-crafted and thought-out and sure knows exactly when to be romantic as hell when the appropriate moment arises.
Every episode makes you go "awww" and leaves its viewers a warm fuzzy feeling inside. The love between the protagonists, Zen and Shirayuki are so pure and lovely. Truly the best couple of 2015.
Akagami no Shirayuki-hime is the epitome of romance and truly a gem in anime history of its genre.
