If you liked Ciguatera add

...then you might like Bokutachi ga Yarimashita add

Both feature adolescent guys that get into a relationship with a girl some time into the story. Both the main characters get into a lot of trouble and it is mostly their own fault. Both MCs have friends that grow to distaste them and come at odds with. Both of the characters suffer somewhat with mental health throughout their respective stories. Both feature an older character that somewhat bullies the protagonist but grows to like or respect the protagonist further into the story. Overall the vibe is quite similar, as both are somewhat darkly comedic and psychological coming-of-age stories. The biggest difference is that Bokutachi has a realistic arstyle where as Ciguatera's is more cartoonish. In my opinion the two are very similar and someone who likes one should like the other.

If you liked Shiki add

...then you might like Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu add

Both are about mysterious creatures invading somewhere, in Shiki it's a small town whereas in Parasyte it's the entirety of Japan or even the world. Both are about a young man that is in some way affected negatively by it. Both feature characters that are curious about the creatures and experiment with them in some way, and those characters meet the protagonist later in the story, though the way it is executed is different in the two shows. Both shows feature a long brutal scene that happens because of the creatures. Both shows never really disclose why or what is causing the creature infections. The way the creatures function in the two shows are very different however, whereas in Parasyte anyone infected turns into something completely else in Shiki it's a form of vampire.

Both are made by the same author. They both have moments of brutal violence and gore, usually towards women.

If you liked Blue add

...then you might like Sabishisugite Lesbian Fuuzoku ni Ikimashita Report add

They are both about a troublesome girl. Both have drama that comes from the fact that one or more characters are lesbian or have had or is having lesbian relations. Both also have a unique drawing style and both only have one volume. Both are written by female authors.
