Suzume no Tojimari is visually impressive, the animation is fluid, the backgrounds are, as always, beautifully made, and sometimes, it mixes CGI and the backgrounds for some outstanding shots.
Throughout the movie, we're presented with a recurrent topic in other Makoto Shinkai movies. The topic of love, but evading any spoilers, I can firmly say that another topic takes the lead as the main one, alongside love and supernatural like any of his last two movies
In the end, Makoto Shinkai made another great movie, but this one feels unique. It could be his next Your Name, his next massive hit.
