A great example of a good hentai format.

The story is as short+simple as it needs to be but long enough for a story.
Art is great, but not as alive as some of Mary Jane's stuff. The character designs were portrait well like you would expect from an anime.
I felt like there was some great voice acting, character voices REALLY fitted the character and their personalities excellently, a really good job on this part.
The catchy ending music for each episode is very welcomed, It can ruin the mood if it ends on sad piano music even though the ending was happy (looking at you Enjo Kouhai).
The ... series definitely has replay-ability, I often find myself returning to it now-and-again.

I do wish the episodes were slightly longer because some ~scenes~ felt a little short because they had to fit the story around it.

This is a top hentai simply because it appeals to the average male fantasy in an easy-going wholesome way.

With its simple yet effective plot it's exactly what you'd want out of a hentai. With lots of varying ~scenes~ from shower to cosplay to baking it can appeal to the average person’s more simple fantasies. Why does hentai have to have an elaborate plot with sinister undertones or cliff-hangers when you can have a nice simple hentai. And that my friend is Dokidoki Little Ooyasan.

Characters are your simple (big) male and the female is a little-lady (not to be confused with a loli). Our heroine is ... an out-going, un-shy and cheerful landlady in charge of the main-characters apartment. There's really not much more to say, and this is what makes this hentai great.

I avoid discussing gripes... but! the one thing holding it back is some of the directing. Primarily near climax the camera would sometimes switch to the male characters face which is a little immersion breaking. Also, the male can sometimes be a little to vocal during ~scenes~ which can get irritating. I would call that nit-picking, but even if it bothers you; it’s definitely worth watching.

This is one of the greatest hentai I have ever seen, and you should see it to.
In all aspects it's the ~perfect~ hentai, everything you could wish for is in this episode.

Do you ever fall in love with a hentai heroine and wish you could see more of that character? TV-anime has a great opportunity to do just this because of its large budget and episode length/count. This allows TV-anime to include time for fan servicing, something (personally) you can return to and watch, which allows viewers to ~reconnect~ with their loved characters. This may include Love confessions, story-climaxes, slice-of-life scenes such as the beach ... episode or just cute moments of your waifu. Unfortunately, hentai doesn't always get this opportunity so why am I writing all this?
Because ~Insert-Songs~ my friend, you have you favourite waifu dressed up dancing and singing, this alone is multiple times better than any beach episode. You don't even have to watch it, you can put the song in your music library and listed to it during your daily life to think about your waifu. What's beautiful is that it doesn't take up much time in (the already limited) episode length. THIS IS THE SOLUTION YOU WANT, And I fully support this direction for all future hentai that include this.

Lovely Heart's Insert song is one of the best insert songs to be put into hentai, It'll be exactly what you're looking; catchy, cute, relaxed and a way to remind you of the character you fell in love with, And let me tell you.. you will.

Hentai doesn't need to be super complicated; Vanilla is always something welcomed in the community and this hentai couldn't be any more Vanilla.
Great art+sound+animation with a simple story is all that's needed yet many studios still fail to achieve this harmony. lovely heart achieves this harmony simply, and boy does it give great enjoyment to see this.

It saddens me to see many great hentai on MAL achieve a score between 7 & 8. Hentai is a very limited market and should not be scored so harshly. Through reviews I hope to increase the open-mindedness of viewers when critiquing hentai and thus allowing hentai to achieve a greater score between 8 and 10.
