If you enjoyed Doukyuusei you'd enjoy Given. Given is at it's core a show about grief and how to overcome it. You follow Satou Mafuyu and Uenoyama Ritsuka and how they let music comfort and guide them through the emotions they both feel as the story progresses. Because this is a show that has music as the main focus of how the characters come to terms with themselves, it has to be good right? and right you are. The soundtrack to this show is phenomenal. The 3D animation you get when the band preforms does pull you out of the show a little bit, but
...
it's not used often so you can overlook it. The supporting cast of Nakayama Haruki and Kaji Akihiko do a great job at nudging Mayfuyu and Uenoyama in the direction that they themselves are to scared to pursue. The side story with Haruki and Akihiko is also entertaining. Given is a good BL to watch when you need a good pick me up. This is one of the better Bl's that I've seen and for that I give Given a 10/10.

" A Code Breaker OR One who does not Exist..." Well said because this show should not exist. This show is hot garbage! I don't even know where to start. The characters were flat, the dialogue was boring and don't even get me started on the animation. Reading the plot synopsis makes it sound intresting enough for you to check the show out, but the execution of it is all over the place. The main characters Oogami Rei and Sakurakouji Sakura were literally made for each other yet had absolutely no chemistry between the two. You could tell that you were just watching drawings interact
...
with each other. You'd be hard pressed to find something good about this show. You have the supporting cast of Tenpouin Yuuki, Fujiwara Toki, Heike Masaomi and Hachiouji Rui who are also dry pieces of toast who don't bring any other form of enjoyment to the show. Code breaker is so poorly executed that by the last fight you don't care about the outcome, you just want it to be over. Overall I give Code: Breaker a 2/10. Don't waste your time. If you really want to know what happens in the story I recommend reading the Manga, I've heard rave reviews about it.

THERE IS ONE MINOR SPOILER IN THIS REVIEW.
I loved this show, I thought it was great. Sword Art Online was on of the first animes that I watched and it was a great introduction into the world of anime. You get invested right away with wanting all of the characters you meet to make their way out of Aincrad. You follow our main character Kirito and how he tries to survive this death game. Because the story only follows Kirito you don't get to see much of the supporting cast doing anything other than talking to Kirito. The fight scenes you get are energetic and
...
fast paced and are animated pretty well throughout the series. You don't really get any filler in this show which is also a plus. The romance that blooms between Kirito and Asuna is so cute and pure, but at times a bit intense. The first half of the show is much better than the second half. But that doesn't mean that the second half is by any means bad. Some Negatives I have about SAO is that is about half of the fight scenes that they set up throughout the show you don't get to see, they just jump right to the next scene. They give you a 2 year time skip within the game, so you don't get to see how the characters had to survive for the first two years that they were stuck in Aincrad. They also kind of gloss over the progression of Kirito and Asuna's romantic relationship. After a certain point in the show Kirito and Asuna are just together. But I would've liked to see more on how they got there. Also last but not least the RAPE SCENE that happens in the second half of the show, could've and should've been left out entirely. But overall I give Sword Art Online a 10/10. I really did enjoy this show.

I loved it! I thought Love Stage was spectacular. This is honestly one of the best BL anime I've seen. You get to see the characters Izumi Sena and Ichijou Ryouma stumble their way into love and it's so adorable. The story is a average love story, but it is enjoyable to watch these characters find their way to each other. The art style could have been a bit better. The characters almost all look a like, because most of them have the same face shape. Izumi and Ryouma were so vastly different but they worked well together and took time to understand each
...
other which was sweet. This show has the same tropes of all other BL animes with choosing the very obvious Semi and Uki traits, and the not so concentual encounters. But how it differs from the other BL animes is that they use it as a plot point for the relationship of these characters and they don't overlook it or brush it aside. Which then in turn leads to great character development. You also have a great supporting cast wit Sagara Rei and Shougo Sena, their involvement in with Izumi and Ryouma's relationship is very realistically wacky. The only negatives I had with this show were the dream sequences that Izumi had that took place within his favorite show. Overall I gave Love Stage a 9/10. If you want a good BL anime this is it.

Kaguya Sama season 2 was much improved from it's first go around. Season one dropped the ball but this season totally picked up the slack. Kagyua Sama's first season focused more on the "War aspect of Love and War, and because of that lacked the fun that you'd hope to find in it. But since season 2 focuses more on the Love it's much more enjoyable and I thank it for that. Because this season focuses on Love all the characters are lighter and much more fun to watch. This season picks up right where the last one left off. We're still watching Kaguya
...
and Shirogane trying and waiting for the other one to confess their feelings, but the "Schemes" they use are a lot softer and more sincere. Because of that you see how their plots bare more fruit than they did in the previous season. But with every new season you are bound to get introduced to some new characters, and in this season you get introduced to Iino Miko and Osaragi Kobachi, who I thought the show could do without. Most times they were just there to stall the plot and not even be a fun comic relief. I would've preferred to just keep them out of this season. You also get to see some of the backstory of one of your favorite council members, Ishigami Yuu. It adds more depth to his character and is an enjoyable arc. Makes me want to see the backstories of the rest of our council members. You also get to see the council members working more as a unit in this season which was a pleasant surprise. Overall I give Kaguya Sama: Love is War season 2 a 8/10. Waiting for the third installment.

I didn't enjoy Kaguya Sama as much as everyone said that I would. I didn't really feel the Love or War in this season. I went into this show with high hopes, but for me it was overhyped and it let me down. Just a little. The premise of this show made it sound fun, but it was lacking the wackyness that it promised. We follow Shinomiya Kaguya and Miyuki Shirogane as they each try to get the other to confess their love for the opposite person. But instead we get a lot of inner monologues between Kaguya and Shirogane but not a lot of
...
actual interesting of fun character interactions between the pair. I did like the opening song and the supporting characters of Fujiwara Chika and Ishigami Yuu
, I thought they were fun and that they brought most of the enjoyment out of the show. The Noir type art style did fit the story perfectly and the narrations were also fun. I gave Kaguya Sama: Love is a war season 1 a 6/10. there were definitely a lot of things that could've been improved upon.

All remakes should be like Dororo. It was amazing. The Art Style was so hauntingly beautiful. The art alone drew me in from episode one. It did a great job of bringing you into feudal Japan. I loved that this show was kind of historical with just a hint of mysticism. You follow a child named Dororo and a young adult named Hyakkimaru as they chase down the demons who have stolen his body. I loved everything about it. The emotions you feel as you watch Hyakkimaru struggle to find himself and when he does you're just as happy as Dororo. The music did a
...
perfect job of translating everything Hyakkimaru was supposed to be feeling in the scene. For me I didn't see any negatives with this show. I gave this show a 10/10. Everyone should watch this, it's a modern classic.

THIS IS A SPOILER FREE REVIEW SO IT MIGHT BE A LITTLE VAGUE
World Trigger was a surprise find and delight! I enjoyed the heck out of this show. It had me hooked on episode one. It truly is an underrated show. The plot isn't that original but they did a good job at making it their own. World Trigger introduces you to a vast amount of characters, so you should be able to find a character that you enjoy watching. This show starts right away. The power system is very easy to follow because it is a weapon system and there aren't really any unique
...
weapons. Also because of the standard weapon system you get to see each character create their style within the basic fighting style to give everyone a sort of unique yet memorable battle. The main cast of Osamu, Kuga and, Chika are all vastly different characters, but the added supporting cast helps put everything together. All the characters are loveable in their own way. The only negative that I have about this season is that there is a filler arc closer to the end of the show that ruins the flow. The art style of the show isn't groundbreaking but it does a good job with the fight scenes. One thing that I found confusing was when you are introduced to new characters they give you a lot of information at once, and it can be hard to process or to remember whose who. Overall I gave World Trigger season 1 a 10/10. I really enjoyed this show it was fun and sweet.

THIS REVIEW IS SPOILER FREE
This show started off great!...but after episode 6 it started to go downhill. As I said earlier the first 6 episodes were very fun, energetic, cute and just the right amount of sappy. Miyamura and Hori's relationship was a lot better when they didn't care about what other people thought about them and their relationship. I liked that Hori was devoted to her family (mainly her little brother Souta) and how Hori acts like a second mother to him, and I loved Miyamura's long hair and how he was a secret punk rock kid who liked to do impulsive things and
...
surprisingly enough loved to bake. You're able to see these traits on full display in the first half of the series. During the second half of the series you lose focus on Hori and Miyamura and start to focus on the supporting character like Yoshikawa Yuki, Ishikawa Tooru, Ayasaki Remi and, Iura Shuu to name a few and that's when the story looses the lightheartedness that drew some audiences in. For me the supporting casts story lines don't do a good job keeping you interested in the story. Hori and Miyamura fall into the background like in the later seasons of Little House on the Prairie. They just makes cameos in a show that was supposed to be primarily about them and the romantic relationship that blooms and grows with how they mature in life. You lose the heart of the show when you switch focus, to basic characters and basic plot problems. I gave this show a 6/10 because the first half of the show was so good. Watch if you want.

THIS IS A SPOILER FREE REVIEW
I honestly don't know where to start with this review. First off this review is about all three seasons of BSD, because for me all three seasons had the same issue, there was no plot! You get introduced to great characters such as Dazai Osamu, Nakahara Chuuya, Edogawa Rampo and Kunikida Doppo to name a few, but they are not used properly throughout the series. BSD also introduces you to a decent power system but that also isn't explored it's just brushed over with many other things in the series. You then have the main character Atsushi Nakajima whose supposed
...
to be the "Chosen One" whose is supposed to " Save/Change/(Possibly Destroy") the current situation that they are in, but that to is just something left up in the air and for you to interpret. It also introduces you to the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia who are supposed to be enemies, but who have a kind of friendly relationship. So the whole rivalry they have is also thrown out the window. The only enjoyable thing in this show for me is the characters that are wasted in this show. I gave all three seasons a 6/10 . I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. It was just meh. I wouldn't recommend, but I wouldn't try to steer you away from it. If you do end up watching it I hope that you enjoyed it more than I did.
