Have you ever wondered how a story narrated by a cat would be?
"Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko: Everything Flows" is a very meaningful anime. The title itself is beautiful and matches perfectly the content of the story.
Story - 10/10
Daru is an old cat who loves his owner. He never uses her name (Miyu). For him, she is just "kanojo". I liked how Daru's thoughts catch your attention. His voice is so softly. He narrates the story from his eyes--a cat's eyes. It's interesting to know Miyu through his perspective. She is having a bad time. Can't get a job. Misses her mother. Daru is her
...
only company. And it's beautiful when they are together.
Art - 10/10
This anime is so beautifuly animated! I loved the details. Daru's eyes are just perfect.
Sound - 10/10
The music is very touching. It conveys the character's feelings.
Character - 9/10
As the main character, Daru is wonderfully developed. There's something very mature in the way he acts and thinks. Miyu doesn't get behind, but I missed some information. The anime could have explored her family's background better.
Enjoyment - 10/10
I'm the kind of person who likes to watch animes that make you cry. And I love cats too. So, the enjoyment was great!
Overall - 10/10
This is probably one of the best animes I've ever watched. And I'll problaby rewatch it again and again. Daru may be a cat, but he is an amazing character I'll never forget.

I never thought Yoshihiro Togashi's wonderful work could be so spoiled in less than two hours. But it was.
"Hunter x Hunter Movie: Phantom Rouge" is the kind of movie I would actually appreciate if I were just looking for something to pass the time. Unfortunately, it is very far from the quality the Hunter x Hunter fans are used to. I had great expectations about this movie and they were all destroyed within minutes. Still, the movie can be a little enjoyable if you forget it should be connected to Hunter x Hunter. Which would be pretty strange, to say the least.
STORY - 2
The story
...
is... meh. I couldn't see Togashi's genius in the plot. What disturbed me the most was the way the movie focused much more on Gon and Killua than on Kurapika, who was supposed to be the main character... right? Ok, ok. The movie shows (a bit) of Kurapika’s past. But Sheila (or Shiira) is completely absent! Who is Sheila, you ask. Exactly! She appears in the manga “Kurapika’s Reminiscences”, but was cut from the movie. Because of this exclusion, the scenes about Kurapika’s past aren’t as rich as they could have been. And now, the worst part. SPOILER AHEAD! If you don’t want to read them, jump to “ART”, ok? Gon and Killua fight Uvogin’s phantom doll alone. Let me say it one more time. Gon and Killua fight Uvogin’s phantom doll. Alone. Uvogin. Once known as the strongest member of the Phantom Troupe. Sometimes, protagonism spoils everything in the movie…
ART – 8
I’m ok with the art, except for the unnecessary special effects that made the final battle look kind of boring and the Kuruta’s “cute little white bunny eyes”. When a Kuruta gets angry their eyes become scarlet. That’s what the manga says. In the movie—as well as in the 2011 anime series—when Kurapika gets angry his eyes become pink!
SOUND – 6
The sound was ok. Personally, I prefer the 1999 anime version soundtrack.
CHARACTER – 6
Leorio was amazing in this movie. I love his silly personality. Kurapika was great too. Gon was… just Gon. Killua was kind of… strange. He acts differently in this movie because he is jealous of a little girl who becomes Gon’s new friend. Maybe that could work well in a fanfiction, but not in the canon. Hisoka is Hisoka. Illumi is Illumi. Nothing to complain about them. And the villain is… the villain is… I just can’t believe that guy is a Hunter x Hunter character. Bomber did much better in the Greed Island Arc.
ENJOYMENT – 3
Time to be honest. I love Leorio and Kurapika. So I loved all their scenes. But I didn’t like how the movie always focuses on Gon and Killua. Man, they’ve already received too much attention in the regular show. Their protagonism is ridiculous. SPOILER AHEAD (again): How could they fight Phantom Troupe’s members—ok, ok, they were not the real Phantom Troupe’s members, but come on!—as equals?
OVERALL – 4
As a huge Hunter x Hunter fan I expect no less than great stories and character development from the anime and movies. But “Phantom Rouge” story is poor, the characters created for it are bad and Kurapika receives little attention. I don’t recommend it. Of course, some fans will like the movie very much and I will never blame them for that. “Phantom Rouge” has good moments and, as I have said before, it can be enjoyable if you don’t care about its connection with the manga.
Final words: if you are a huge fan of Hunter x Hunter, watch the movie and make up your mind whether it’s good or not. If you just want to have some fun maybe you can find another—more exciting—movie to watch. If you don’t like Hunter x Hunter that much don’t even waste your time. But I really, really, really recommend the manga “Kurapika’s Reminiscences” because it shows Kurapika’s past in an awesome way and Sheila (or Shiira) appears on it!
I hope this review has helped you.

Love Stage!! was the second shonen-ai anime I've watched (the first one was Yuri!!! On Ice). The first two episodes were enjoyable. They sounded promising. Izumi, the main character, is very cute and funny. Ryoma, who falls in love with Izumi, is that kind of exaggerated guy that makes you laugh. Rei, one of the employees of Izumi's family, is amazing! The music is awesome too and I'd constantly catch myself thinking of the opening theme. But all the other episodes were a little bit strange with some flaws and other stupid cliché stuff like: "Hey, I know who you are." Then you put on
...
your glasses and I don't know who you are anymore. (Yes, that old Clark Kent thing.) But let me be a little more specific:
STORY - 5
The story is ok. Just that. Love Stage!! isn't very different from that silly shoujos with silly characters. At the end, only one thing matters: will Izumi and Ryoma go through all the external challenges and be together? Nothing to be surprised, you know. But there some points that made me feel uncomfortable. By the way, this will probably be a spoiler, so if you don't want to read it jump to "ART". And the spoiler begins: it seems that everyone wants to touch Izumi. Yeah, in the sexual sense. Izumi is a cute, timid, female looking otaku. The others characters look at him and become all: "OMG! He is so cute I want to eat him!" And Ryoma is like: "I can't control myself when I'm close to you. I'll attack you because you are so cute." I don't think that's funny. Seriously, I don't. So, if you don't like romanticized rape either you'd better look for another shonen-ai.
ART - 8
The art is very good. I liked it very much. Izumi's smile is contagious. The characters in general are beautifully drawn. It's not a masterpiece, you know, but it's enjoyable.
SOUND - 7
Nothing to complain here. The opening theme is fun and sticks easily to your mind. The ending sound doesn't get behind. But again, it's not a masterpiece.
CHARACTER - 6
As I've said before, the characters are silly. I mean, there's not a single responsible adult here. Izumi is a spoiled introvert otaku unable to do anything without help. He grows very little during the show. Ryoma doesn't change very much either. Izumi's parents, Seiya and Nagisa, are stupid to say the least. Nagisa acts like a teenage girl who only thinks about parties and handsome men. Seiya isn't a very mature and careful father. But from time to time they say something apparently profound about Izumi--just to pretend they are good parents. Shougo, Izumi's older brother, is spoiled too. He likes to do everything on his own way and doesn't care how his actions will affect other people. But he cares very much for Izumi and is much more helpful than Seiya and Nagisa. Rei is the stereotype of the good employee who respects his bosses and does everything to make their lives more comfortable. He is Izumi's eternal protector. Although I liked Rei very much--he is my favorite character from the show--it's undeniable that he has a great responsibility from Izumi and Shougo being so spoiled! Oh, and there is Lala-Lulu, the main character of Izumi's favorite manga. Lala-Lulu is the stereotype of the mahou shoujo with a heart full of kindness. She has no personality at all--an empty lovely character--and her voice is irritating. But she is important for the plot. Finally, we have Takahiro Kuroi, Izumi's classmate. Kuroi is the only responsible character in the entire show. Too bad he didn't receive much attention!
ENJOYMENT - 6
Love Stage!! was an OK anime. It made me laugh sometimes, the songs are good, the art is beautiful. Nothing more than that.
OVERALL - 6
I think I've said everything I had in mind. Love Stage!! is a silly show with handsome male characters and fanservice scenes. Lots and lots of fanservice scenes. Depending on how you interpret them, they can be pretty offensive.
I hope this review has helped you. Bye bye!

I like to read sad stories and Kizu is one of the saddest stories I've ever read. It's about friendship and love. That sounds a little bit cliche, right? Maybe it is. But Kizu has a very interesting premise and I found myself pretty involved in discovering this premise while the main character, Keigo, told me about his life. Here are the reasons why I appreciated this manga so much:
Story - I don't want to give spoilers to anyone, so I'll just say that Kizu made me think of the meanings of cruelty and kindness. How can some people suffer profoundly, I thought to myself,
...
and still find a way to be good to others?
Art - The manga is beautifully drawn. It's not cute. It's not awesome in a shonen style. It's just beautifully realistic. This characteristic caught me in the first pages.
Character - The main character, Keigo, and his best friend Asato are just kids. But they proved to me how complex can be a child's feelings. Sometimes, they act like adults and this is touching.
Enjoyment - I had a pretty good time reading the manga. Can't think of anything I have disliked.
Overall - Kizu is a story I'd like to remmember. Although it's a very short manga, I really appreciated all its aspects and the capacity of Keigo and Asato continuously walk through the pains they have to face.
