This might just be the most underrated gems I've ever come across. The art is SO BEAUTIFUL, the plot is so rich, unique and interesting and all is done so naturally, I didn't feel like anything was ever forced onto me as a reader.

Want a female lead that's the perfect balance between wisdom, power, beauty & overall emotional intelligence? Read it. Want the perfect balance between action, mystery, conspiracy and a romance with no misunderstandings? Read it. I can't recommend it enough.

It kept me hooked from the beginning to the very end and It's one of those stories I'm going to recommend and ... talk about for a long time, it's that good. I don't understand how I haven't seen anyone comment about this one EVER.

TO BE FAIR, I feel like the title is misleading and might make one think this is just another cliché story but it so isn't and you need to read it to the very end to understand why everything happened the way it did, I can't go into further details just trust me and read it 😭💕💕

A strong must watch! No matter your gender, age, it is a gem that's rare to come by. I am truly biased by having read the manhwa and loved it so much, however that would only make me all the more frustrated if I saw that the anime adaptation wasn't on par with it.

It isn't her second life, it's her third, Elise is given a second chance at her first life after redeeming herself during her second. In her first life she had everything to be happy and made everyone miserable, the empire became a living hell. In her second life she had nothing, ... no family, no money, other than her studies, she was determined to save as many as possible and redeem herself from her mistakes from her 1st life.

In her third life, she is simply grateful and everyone around her sees her maturing to the woman they always wanted and deeply down believed her to be. She was loved, as she changed to meet their expectations, it was well received and praised upon.

She hesitates a lot and tends to phrase all her knowledge from modern era in a way that best fits the context she's in, to not create a reality clash that's too big.

Out of all isekais that tend to be higly repetitive, superficial, sexualize women and lack emotional momentum, this one is the most meaningful for me, as while all the others use the knowledge they have for selfish reasons, for revenge or whatever, she uses it to save people and in crucial moments, for selfless reasons. Even if it means putting herself in a tight position, she's totally committed to her cause and confident in her medical skills.

It's incredibly good, has an actual intelligent, powerful and OP female lead, as a girl myself I find this so refreshing. She's actual badass and the story isn't at all focused on some romance that takes the spotlight from the female lead. It's very well made thus far and has become one of my absolute favourites!! ❤️

It's been a while since I last watched an anime that made me this excited, don't create expectations based off of my review, just watch it and create your own opinion, bottom line is that I recommend it to everyone

The trope is similar any other villainess anime/manhwa, ... where the protagonist is reincarnated/isekaid into another world, however this story is more similar to the manhwa's I enjoy reading the most, with the bad side of the original villainess being more raw and better portrayed than any other anime released yet. The current Villainess is the complete opposite of the original villainess and that contrast is very well portrayed too.

Ex. "My next life as a villainess/I'm the Villainess so I'm taming the final boss" are very sugar coated; don't portray the crimes the original villainess did; become too focused on romance and take away the spotlight from the female lead; don't have much of a plot (or an interesting one, at that).

It's a strong yet quite naive female lead, I prefer female leads that are more aware of their surroundings, even though she went back in time, she's quite slow witted and doesn't have a clue on what to do next. She's oblivious as to what conspiracy led her to her death in the first place. Honestly, I know tropes with knight female leads that are better than this one, it ain't my cup of tea so imma drop it.

If you enjoy stories like this, I'd rather recommend:
- The Way That Knight Lives As a Lady
- Knight of the Frozen Flower
- I Tamed a Tyrant and ... Ran Away (this focuses more on her revenge so it's a bit different, but she was originally a knight before she regressed and is incredibly intelligent)

This story is pure gold!!!! I love how the female lead is so meticulous and patient with her revenge, this pacing is incredibly realistic! She's so talented and intelligent as well, it's really exhilarating ✨
It's also SO REFRESHING to see all these intelligent people genuinely and smartly supporting the female lead. All characters involved have such unique unwavering personalities, I really enjoy this type of story with a rich plot, where you clearly get to know how they got to side with her in the first place.

The art is extremely beautiful, honestly one of my favorites ❤️
The magical side is also well incorporated into ... the story and can't wait to see them exploring it further!

p.s: the title here on mal is quite misleading, as she isn't getting revenge on her sister but rather on the family. The alternate name "the real daughter is back" is better.

First Season: it was astonishing to the point I considered this one of my favourite manhwa's. The portrayal of her suffering throughout her 7 lives, her curse, her cold-hearted attitude... She was truly badass! There wasn't much space for a romance but it was ok, the plot was developing steadily and there were always interesting things happening that kept me hooked to it.
The art style was one of the things I loved about the manhwa.

Second Season:
Then first thing that happened was that the artist changed, for the first few chapters you wouldn't notice much of a difference but after a while it was ... noticeable how much the art style had changed, the detail and impact of the scenes weren't like the first one. However, even the plot went to a direction I didn't particularly enjoy... I felt that the romance between the FL and ML was forced, it wasn't natural and there were many times I felt confused about other things as well. Basically the pacing became weird, like it was going so fast it felt like there were missing pieces.

I don't regret reading it, on the contrary, I do recommend it!! It's a very good read nonetheless and you can take your own conclusions!

IT IS REALLY GOOD!! ❤️ The Female Lead goes back 3 years to the point her world started collapsing, there she starts her plan to take back everything that her husband and friend took from her, from her talent, fortune, title and most importantly her freedom. She doesn't seem kin on revenge, just wants everything in their rightful place starting with a divorce. She's passionate about painting, a naturally kind soul and very strong.

I like how she just got things done and now a new chapter, an happier one, is going to unfold. She's finally going to conquer the world with her talent as well ... as the heart of a kind and charismatic man, just like she deserves.

I love manhwa's with protagonists who mesmerize others with their talent so this is totally my cup of tea thus far! ✨
THE ART IS ALSO VERY PRETTY!

I honestly found this story quite underwhelming... There's no conspiracy theories, no real drama, the FL has grasped the center of the manhwa entirely and in such an easy way that's unreal how she had such a bad ending the first time, considering how the people around her were drawn to her so easily. It's also not clear how the ML fell in love with her?! She didn't act in any particular way to attract his attention, even less his love... I'm not much of a fan of tropes like this where everyone gives in so easily, it's quite unrealistic. I came across this title ... multiple times, may it be for being a fan of villainess/reincarnation tropes and for having it recommended to me multiple times.

The best thing about this is definitely the art, followed by the two psycho characters that appear. I also liked how pretty the FL is but that ain't enough to keep me reading it...

Starting off, I really enjoyed how the FL was incredibly beautiful, charismatic and is merciless when it comes to her revenge, she ain't afraid of anything and anyone who stands in her way. Most of her confidence comes from all her power & knowledge, yet also from the support of everyone she meets and loves.
I love how the author portrayed the feelings of obsession, regret and revenge. There's also a lot of warmth and joyful moments throughout the manhwa.
The art is incredibly beautiful, all characters are interesting, all is connected & the ML is hot but crazy 🤣
