Kira vincent Davis. although in elfen lied, it's the main girl Lucy/Nyuu where as in rosario it's a supporting character Kokoa.

Kanojo no Kagi wo Akeru Houhou

I wouldn't recommend the Kanojo manga due to it being terribly raunchy (please avoid this series) however if i may make a comparison to Elfen Lied, Chitose is like mild, non violent, tad happier version of flash back Lucy. like Lucy she's cold and unfriendly and brooding. both are cold and unfriendly for their respective reasons. Lucy due to trauma and abuse while the Chitose due to stress from having to balance her family being in a bad financial state+having a pregnant sister. like Lucy, Chitose is cold to the boy yet softens up eventually except lucy more than Chitose. Chitose also compares to Lucy in Nyuu mode due to inappropriate touching except one out of dirty intent while the other out of innocent childlike curiosity and exploration. on the flip side, Chitose can also compare to Yuka being that she is sorta jealous of the other girls getting inappropriately close to the main guy. also both yuka and chitose wear striped panties chitose more than yuka (in fact yuka only wears the striped panties in the anime and kanojo doesnt have an anime) both Nyuu and yuka compare to Chitose because of the romance and both series feature the main guy living in some kind of home where all sorts of girls including the main girl on each story make some point or another to live there with the boy. (romantic love interest lives with each respective guy) chitose lives with the main guy throughout kanojo like nyuu and yuka lives with kouta throughout elfenlied but in both scenarios the girls add up. ecchi moments and comedic moments happen. both elfen lied and kanojo has alot of nudity except one is used for typical ecchi fanservice while the other is used for psychological and cruel reasons . elfen lied is dark while Kanojo is slice of life . elfen lied is slightly more cleaner on the ecchi department (albeit slightly) yet very violent gory and sad. yet kanojo is more light hearted and more comedic and void of any blood and gore yet awfully ecchi. both of them are controversial in their own manner. both of them have their ways of being disturbing.

I wouldn't recommend the kanojo manga due to how dirty it is, but i'll give my 2 cents of comparison here. it compares to Love hina. basically main guy has an ecchi first encounter with main girl, main girl is mean to the main guy and scolds him for pervertedness except the guy in kanojo is a pervert while the guy in love hina doesn't mean to be a pervert. both girls are tsundere yet the one in kanojo is a pervert and the one in love hina is not..many awkward ecchi moments happen. one of the main love interests manages the main dwelling: kanojo being the main girl managing an apartment, love hina being the main guy managing a dorm both with similarly wild results throughout each respective manga. in both mangas, the respective guy is surrounded by girls in each of their respective dwellings and crazy shennanigans ensue. except love hina is a tad more tasteful where as kanojo is a tad more raunchy but they both have their share of ecchi moments.

(for the record if i compare the persona 5 anime i really mean to compare the main canon source but that's a video game and my anime list dont include video games in their arsenal so this will have to do) with that said.. how mirai nikki compares to the persona 5 story is that the same plot device is used..both the mirai nikki crew and the persona 5 crew use cell phones as part of each of their respective plot detail....the miria nikki cast use theirs for death battles and stalking and the phantom thieves use theirs to teleport ...both mirai nikki and persona 5 have morally grey characters.. anti heros and chaotically good heroes...a girl with some psychological issues of sorts though one is more or less the mascot of her respective show appearing early while the other is more under the radar and appears late in her respective franchise

(alright for the record if i compare the Persona 5 animation i also at the same time mean to compare the game but video games ain't in the myanimelist so this will have to do) both Gantz and Persona 5 have the concept of a troubled teen along with some random acquaintances get teleported in some astral projection type method Gantz through death and after that, the Gantz ball's decision...Persona 5 through cell phone app and they also meet in a designated spot before taking on missions...in the world they get teleported to they have to battle alot of weird beings Gantz aliens and alien monsters...Persona 5 persona shadows. both Gantz and persona 5 are psychological..gantz the situations and scenarios the evil of mankind the twisted things that people do the twisted situations that befall people twisted deaths making up the disturbing context of psychological and Persona 5 getting inside people's heads and visiting mental illustrations of the person and how they view people making up the more lighthearted aspect of psychological..... the difference between p5 and Gantz is Persona 5 is more pleasant and cleaner and fun while Gantz is more explicit and violent and trashy.

(alright for the record if i compare the Persona 5 animation i also at the same time mean to compare the game but video games ain't in the myanimelist so this will have to do) Persona 5 and Naruto have little similarity in albeit certain details...the Joker and Naruto each start out being ostracized and gossiped against...Joker with a false criminal record /Naruto with the 9 tails...both of them set out to make a difference and strive to become heroes...both of them make a point to reform their enemies ...also Joker starts out with a squad similar to the squad Naruto starts out with the comrades...Ryuji like Sasuke is an angry guy who is the protagonist's best friend..Ann like Sakura is the girly preppy of the team the first female team member in the group Ann is nice to Joker but Sakura is mean to Naruto but never the less in a team of 3 (Team 7 and the Joker, Ryuji, Ann trio) they bear some similarity ..also Joker like Sasuke is dark haired and is brooding and cool headed while Ryuji like Naruto is blonde and rowdy and brash and kind of a knuckle head

what really makes Ashita Doborou compare with Koharu No Hibi is that they both have the similar concept where the main character bonds with a girl (koharu/cute alien version of Ashita) but then a girl from the past (Mika the forgotten crush from KNH/ the beautiful human ex girlfriend version of Ashita from Ashita Doroborou) comes back and it's a tug of war of affections ....so that's really the concept an ex flame coming back for love..more of that perspective makes the comparison rather than the yandere concept

like kenichi the mightiest disciple, demon slayer is about a humble boy Tanjiro/Kenichi who trains and gets strong..fights to protect/save someone dear to him...one being a crush (Kenichi's best friend of the opposite sex Miu) while the other being a family member (tanjiro's sister Nezuko)....and there are battles one being a street fight with badasses while the other is supernatural melee fights against demons .. the training both MCs go through are in very homie environments and in humble lookin abodes...eventually both MCs find themselves gathering in an organization one being the demon slayers corp and the other being ryozanpaku..also tanjiro and kenichi both have similar hairstyles

let's see...the english dubs of both Code Geass and Eureka Serven contain the same line of cast. but that's not all..the main character in both animes is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch yep both Lelouch and Renton voiced by the same American voice actor...both eureka seven and code geass have the first opening theme song played by the same band Flow...both of these anime are psychological/philosophical mecha theme series that are very vibrant in color!...eureka seven and code geass are very colorful in the midst of all the mecha fights and psychological and political bullshit....also the special emotionless girls (Eureka and C.C. ) who each respective main character connects with in both series have green hair (each having some shade of green in their hair)

EL and NGE are psychological monsters of an anime..emotional trauma..morally ambiguous characters. a dad who despises his biological kid while treating an artificial human as his child instead ("Papa" kurama being a close father figure to Nana a diclonius that's not his real daughter while despising Mariko his REAL daughter much like how Gendo treats Rei like a close daughter while being like an unfriendly stranger to his own son Shinji) ..and Rei the way she is to Shinji as well as her ADV dub voice has that flashback Lucy vibe... Shinji like Kouta is stuck rooming with multiple girls. kids being subjected to cruel heartless treatment (EL young diclonius NGE random teenagers) EL putting them through experiments that may hurt them or deprive them of years of childhood fun or sometimes unjustly kill them as with NGE it is forcing average teenagers to pilot robots some against their wills like some military draft system to fight life threatening wars that they could've left to the adults. both these deeds that the base/lab of NGE/ElfenLied got people who watch this thinking someone's being cruel. both series are some sort of a psychological mess

the clannad franchise is like a clean minded version of Shuffle! a romance comedy drama mix up.. a bunch of girls surround the MC and and he chooses the girl who's the best friend figure who is often prone to sickness...Nagisa is like a mixture of the gentle house wife part of Kaede Fuyou and the sickness proned best friend part of Asa Shigure. and her mom is just like ami shigure in how she carries herself ... also supernatural special effects with the capacity to restore loved ones. ...there's also a crazy dad. (nagisa's pops/sia's pops) the difference is clannad like i mentioned before is like a clean minded version of shuffle! (don't worry about ecchi because there is none! a good series doesn't need such trash to be enjoyable..let's get our minds off the gutter) ..Clannad as a whole is generously more wholesome than shuffle! a decent improvement in comparison

Clannad and Shuffle! are laced with comedy and drama...the MC of each respected series finds himself surrounded with girls. haremed by girls who like him and he chooses the female best friend who gets sick alot. Nagisa ( is like both Asa and Kaede) she's like kaede because the MC eventually lives together with her even before he makes a romantic decision and also she's his home girl..like asa, nagisa has been the female best friend figure to him and ultimately became the one he chooses and also like asa she gets sick alot. and she has a sweet gentle mom who treats the mc well. the dad though is like sia's dad.. tomoyo and kyou are also like asa because well they are the tomboys...kotomi is like nerine because she is soft spoken...ryou is like sia because of having the same english dub voice actress...fuko is like mayumi because she's one of the few girls that hang around the mc who doesn't have a crush on him but rather provides the fans some comic relief....unlike shuffle!, Clannad is clean. it's like the non ecchi version of shuffle!..it's more wholesome than shuffle!

an anime where a main character who gets dragged into a supernatural group lead by a weird girl sounds like Charlotte and Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya to me...the MC at first has qualms about it but slowly gets used to them.. the weird girl who leads this club can like Haruhi get loud and obnoxious there's also a cute girl who's like a less shy version of mikuru asahina the way she's like mikuru is by being cute when in her main personality...theres a character that is vaguely like yuki nagato but only because he wears glasses but personality wise he's like Itsuki koizumi and also there's a character who i guess you could say is like a male version of yuki nagato mainly by being serious and stoic most of the time ....these characters set lut on adventures and often get into crazy and akward misadventures synonymous with dorky comedy though charlotte has a more tragic twist while Haruhi Suzumiya is more mystery and scifi

both elfen lied and charlotte have a multi personality girl though one is a main character while the other is a side character but never the less the same deal as far as personality switching between cute and badass......both the main character in EL and the main character in Charlotte deal with amnesia...many characters in this have a dark and/or traumatic pass....these people like Lucy have supernatural abilities and are always terrorized by a lab that wants to treat them like lab rats and are trying to avoid being captured. both main characters tragically lose a family member..

Higurashi is more or less Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya spiked with a dark creepy and often times horrifying twist....the way Higurashi's like the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya is that the series features a comedic group of youths who are in a club lead by a wild strong willed girl and they set out to do a whole lotta random goofy shit during the fun slice of life moments..Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is basically just Higurashi without the creepy horror stuff..so if you only like higurashi for the funny silly moments and school club activity themes check out Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya..if you want a creepy horror version of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, check out Higurashi

though different themes as one focuses on Martial Arts while the other focuses on Mecha, Aliens and Wars, i've found similarities like easter eggs if ya notice...like Kenichi, Renton is a little shrimp of an MC who is invited by a very attractive female (Miu/Eureka) to join her group and like Kenichi he ends up living in some wacky domain (Ryuzanpaku dojo in the Kenichi series/Gekkostate aircraft in E7) surrounded by a group of wacky characters who are kinda sour to him and take time to receive him well but still nevertheless give off a goofy vibe...the girl Eureka like Miu Furinji starts off dense about the MC's feelings for her...Kenichi/Renton swears to protect Miu/Eureka..... both the Kenichi series and Eureka Seven have alot of goofy comedic elements..and both Renton and Kenichi are dorks to add to that hilarity. ... also both Kenichi the mightiest Disciple (anime only of course) and Eureka Seven are 50 episodes long and both Kenichi the mightiest disciple and Eureka Seven are sort of a hidden gem under the radar on similar levels

Both E7 and Shippuden feature a world of war wars between conflicting factions. And a boy with some hippie-ish sort of anti war personification and just wants to be a peace maker and see everyone get along...both MC's want to protect someone they care about though one romantic and the other platonic (for obvious reasons).. renton's fighting to protect his crush much like naruto trying to keep his best friend alive and just like in sasuke's case, eureka also has people who want her dead. Like Naruto, Renton just wants everybody to get along. also to remember Eureka who falls in love with the MC is voiced by the same girl who loves Naruto .. Stephanie Sheh is their voice actress (well at least in the english dubs of both shows).. also to add in the english dub of the naruto franchise and Eureka Seven franchise, a majority of characters on each show have the same voice cast..

He tries to make sure everyone is getting along and also he's romantically involved with a girl who just happens to share the same english voice talent with the girl who likes Naruto..both Eureka and Hinata have Stephanie Sheh in common. in fact both E7 and Naruto characters have a majority of the same group of the english dub cast in common. and also there's a bitchy girl dubbed by the same VA as Sakura who's also a bitch. Kate Higgins as Talho/Sakura...... Eureka also in ways can be like a female Naruto because she has this dark history that she has to deal with even as she is turning over a new leaf and is in fact ostricized like naruto with his nine tail history

Naruto and Himura are both warriors of some sort who strive to defy the odds. these 2 guys persevere to turn the impossible into the possible and fight not to kill but to change minds and hearts......also both rurouni kenshin and naruto shippuden have a whole lotta Social Studies that's right History class ...so other than being Shonen greats if Social Studies is your favorite class these 2 are the anime for you

both Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho were a hit back in the 90's bearing similar animations and the stars of both shows are classic badasses ..the difference is one is more suburban and set in old school feudal japan starring a polite swordsman..where as the other is more urban and set to a modern time period of japan and features a rude and more impolite MC who fights using supernatural powers ...also rurouni kenshin almost feels like a spin off featuring human versions of Kurama and Hiei. Himura Kenshin (a human equivalent to Kurama) and Sannoske (a tall human equivalent to Hiei)

both rurouni kenshin and trigun set in a old fashioned historical time period Rurouni Kenshin feudal Japan/Trigun old wild wild west and both series star a dorky yet friendly warrior who has a dark past and are striving to reform..repentance....both vash and kenshin have morals so in both their cases when they fight the bad guys, they fight without killing and somehow manage to pull it off!...both rurouni kenshin and trigun came out in the late 90's.... and for those who like english dubs, both rurouni kenshin and trigun share most of the same voice cast (decent dub cast by the way if you're a critic)... both of these shows are very wholesome. packed with moral values...both kenshin and vash are way more humble than a lot of other shonen anime MCs ...so if you are going old school want a clean wholesome shonen anime that share the same voice dub cast and values i'm sure you'd like both of these classics.

the story's are different yet with similar elements change 123 being more lighthearted compared to elfen lied and with the chaotic messes being different...here's where change 123 compares to elfen lied an average Joe and a multi-personality girl that he meets are the main characters like kouta and lucy kosukegawa courts this multipersonality girl who has a dark personality hidden within her and it seems kosukegawa is the only one who can calm her down much like kouta calming down lucy in her violent state.. it is very ecchi except elfen lied has more nudity and sexual assault where as change 123 has more panties. a bit of nudity but more panties.. ...though in a light hearted way compared to elfen lied, the multi personality girl gets studied. lucy by a cruel lab with the dicloniuses ....motoko/hifumi by a friend (hence why i say lighthearted)... like lucy people are just out to get motoko.. much like lucy is troubled about her horns, motoko is troubled about her hifumi personalities... i guess motoko could be compared to kid Lucy and Nyuu, Mikiri can especially be compared alot to Nyuu and then Hibiki, Fujiko and Zero. especially fujiko and zero can be compared to Lucy.. like Lucy/Nyuu, aside from the multi personality, Motoko/HiFuMi deals with a dark traumatic past ....and she is kinda also like kouta due to her dark past causing her a state amnesia ...so there you have it the main thing that gives a taste of elfen lied is amnesia, traumatic pasts, and girls with multi personality who can shift between cute and badass and an ordinary dude courting the multi personality girls plus nudity and ecchi stuff
