This is definitely worth the read. Hidden gem in my opinion.

I want to start off saying I gave this anime or donghua a 9. That being said I am not a big critic, I watch anime to be entertained and enjoy myself. I just recently started watching donghua and have been enjoying many similar titles. Although, I was pleasantly surprised by this show. I was expecting a basic action/ mystery storyline and got blessed with this. Honestly I am not a huge critic when it comes to anime. I appreciate a good story, interesting characters, and especially a good twist. For me I thought that Island was very confusing in the beginning, which it is sort of meant to obviously. Though after finishing the anime I do think that without knowing the information you get at the end, the first few episodes are difficult to appreciate at first.
