Both of them are similar because they involve big powerful creatures that are dangerous for the human race. The stories of both of these mangas are different and treat different topics but they give the same feeling when reading them and I am pretty sure you will enjoy one if you enjoyed the other. The art is pretty good in both of them (better in Hakaijuu imo) and the stories are pretty easy to follow.

If you liked Blue Heaven add

...then you might like 6000 add

Both of them include "something" dangerous that is inside of the ship (in Blue Heaven's case) or the deep-sea facility (in 6000's case) and the people inside that place have to slowly face that danger. Both main characters are different but the different roles in each story are filled by secondary characters. Both of them take place in the sea, be it over or under it. Both of them have detailed drawings that play with darkness and give the stories a tense and dark tone Both of them include similar themes like fear, death, and body horror.
