Grab a box of tissues and prepare yourself for a rollercoaster of feelings. From the title and picture, I thought it was just going to be a lighthearted manga. Well, that turned out to be really wrong. Sure, I'm a crybaby for stories that force your emotions, but I've been non-stop crying since chapter 1.
Story: Some parts seemed forced so I gave it a 9. Also, it tends to jump around so it was hard to differentiate characters. Otherwise, it's very smooth and emotional.
Art: 9. Characters and scenes are well drawn. My only issue is some characters are hard to tell apart. I question it
...
often.
Character: 10. The 2 MCs are a great couple. You will wish you found someone like they did. The side characters are funny and adds to the story.
Enjoyment: 10. Like I said, I've been crying non-stop since chapter 1. I highly recommend it.
Overall: I don't tend to write reviews unless I'm swayed by the story negatively or positively. This was very positive.
Hope you enjoy like I did!

No spoilers in this review. Odd girl out is a light read. You don't need to dig deep into it, just enjoy whatever is being thrown at you. The author will make you feel a rollercoaster of emotions as you get to know all the characters and choose your favorite.
Story: It's a good story, just average. It's your typical girl friend group type of story where they go to school, fight, make up. Even so, I really enjoyed it. The author does a good job in balancing the story out by making sure it's not redundant. Different types of characters, cliches, and plots are
...
reused, but it's shown in their own way where it doesn't get old. It's really just a cute story about girls going to school. What can you say?
Art: Art is similar to all the other Webtoons. Colored and easy to read.
Character: This is what hooks you in. The development of each character is the charm of this manhwa. Each character has their own backstory that's scattered, and focused on throughout the story. It's well laid out, and you'll definitely find the ones you hate and the ones you love.
Enjoyment/Overall: I will recommend this Manhwa for those who like slice of life. It's a day-to-day story with our main character with flashbacks for developments. Just enjoy the cuteness of our beloved heroines that are too good for us.

This anime was something completely different than what I first perceived it as. I thought I was just going to watch some lighthearted tennis action of saving a club. WRONG, it's much more.
Hoshiai no Sora, or Star align is about a soft tennis club with a bunch of loser club members. They've never won a game in two years or more. The student council president decided if they don't win a single game in the tournament, they need to disband. Desperate, they recruited someone with good athletic reflexes. Thankfully Maki, the transfer student, was convinced to join.
As we follow their club, we see how
...
they work hard and do improve. However, it also shows the realistic side of people. From the games they manage to win, to family life, to personal issues. The scores and methods of playing are realistic. The family lives and personal issues are realistic.
I don't want to spoil anything so I won't go into it too deep. Basically, if we're not in abusive relationships, we forget it's out there. There's so many different forms and types of people out there, we forget. This anime shows abuse in many different shapes and sizes, whether physical or mental.
It also discusses the issues of LGBT which I fully support. Instead of the typical gayness, they bring in the issue of transgender, which hasn't been a big topic especially in anime.
I'd say give it a chance. This is an anime where you actually want to pay attention to the opening and ending songs. Look them up yourself with the lyrics and you won't regret it. Beautifully written songs and if they had more time, I bet the story would be great too.
IMPORTANT!!!
Turns out, the production team have been working for over 2 years, but the team was backstabbed and told they could only send out 12 episodes. With not enough time, they had to either cancel it or cut their 24 episodes down to 12. That's why so many issues are left in the show and it seems really unfinished and rushed. Even so, I managed to enjoy it and empathize with the production team. Try it out to support them.

Just like every other review, I didn't have any ideas about the topic of models. I knew some from needing to maintain your body, but I had no clue about other aspects like the competition and height.
First off, it's not a very popular anime. To me, it's very heartwarming, but that's my opinion.
Summary: Chiyuki is a short underdog runway model who has a enormous dream: to walk down the Paris Fashion Week. However, there's a height restriction. You have to be at least 175 cm while she stopped growing at 158 cm. Pressing her luck, she manages to get fired from her father's modeling agency.
...
Even so, she never gives up and found out a boy from her school, Ikuto, made clothes. Together, they both continues to work towards their dreams of being a model and a fashion designer.
This anime basically covers both stories side-to-side. They're kind of separate, but they always run into each other. One main aspect is it gives motivation. For me, just seeing how hard they strive for their dreams is incredible. Yes, I know it's an anime, but that doesn't change the feelings I get from it. Some warnings would be it has very idealistic and cliché moments. It's the type where something doesn't work out for the main character, but they cheer themselves up or something positive will happen.
Basically, just laugh, cry, sometimes at the same time with this anime. Makes you want to cheer for the underdogs. Shows hard work can turn into success. I like slice of life and sport animes (complete opposites lol) but if you do too, you'll like it. It gives super exciting and super chill moments.

A lot of horror nowadays are mainly about gore and how it makes you look away. The Promised Neverland takes it the good old psychological route. Before we jump in, I want to say this genre is one of my least favorites. I don't like detective or thriller anime's too much because they make me tired by putting me on the edge for a long time. Though I have to say, I regret not going into this anime blind. I believe that would cause for the best experience.
Saying that, I'll keep my summary short. There's a happy orphanage family with only kids 11 and younger.
...
You usually get adopted, like how orphanages are supposed to run. You usually get adopted from ages 6-12, but it's weird because if you turn 12 you immediately have a family ready. All the kids need to take exams and frequently take them with scores announced. One day, 2 of the smarter kids run into something they weren't supposed to see. 2 kids now have to keep this burden and decide not just their own, but everyone at the orphanage's fates. The story was okay, with some of the plot twists that caught me off guard, I'd give it an 8.
The art was a solid 10. Beautiful and different. This anime really brought out the guns for this category. They tried something new and it worked. First couple of episodes I had to get used to it, but once I did that's what I focused on. Some scenes looked like it came out of a horror game during the suspenseful parts. Others were just well drawn and looked beautiful.
Misc: Some other things I will say is it's not completely horror. It's weird in that aspect. It's horror to an extent I guess? Up until around episode 6-8 to the end, it started to lose that feel. It was more the feeling of you just want the kids to win now. You also have no clue where it's going, at least I didn't. Now, I didn't say it got uninteresting or boring. With the number of random twists in the last quarter of the season, it definitely had me wondering.
Overall: Everything was written pretty well. It was mediocre for some parts, but I enjoyed myself. Almost gave it a 7 until I saw how well the last quarter of the anime was. 8/10 would recommend.
Just a small spoiler (not really):
Phil was my favorite until the last 10 seconds of episode 11. Then, right when episode 12 came back, he was my favorite again. Yes, a supporting character became my favorite.

I know I'm very late to this party, but I finally found out this was an anime through a YouTube clip and gained interest.
First, I didn't know what to expect. I'm more of a slice of life person so this was good, but I tend to like newer slice of life with newer, cleaner art styles. I'm so glad that didn't hold me back. Onizuka Eikichi was unpredictable. Him and his students brought me through a loop I didn't think I could be brought through. It had all the signs of a great anime. Funny, sad, and very moving.
The first half was the
...
best half, or so I thought. The more I watched, I realized I couldn't stop. Even towards the middle-ish, I was starting to not know where it was going, but I went through it.
The last story arc is very enjoyable. It gave me literal chills with the last couple of episodes (you'll know when you get there). This is how anime should be about!
10/10 highly recommend. The art style really wrapped itself around the story.

The manga had a basis of "best friends" that had sex with each other when one was feeling down. It showed the support for each other when one feels lonely, just had a bad relationship, or just some random problem. They would tell each other that she's pretty and just wants to make each other feel good. This was a pretty good manga for some yuri, sex, and heartwarming moments.
By the way, not censored.
Story: 9
It's a simple friendly story. It shows what true friends are I guess.
Art: 10
The art was good and detailed. It was pretty and awesome.
...
Character: 10
The characters were realistic. I never really hated any of them and I could understand how they felt during certain things.
Enjoyment: 10
Just lay back, get turned on, and enjoy.
Overall: 10
It was easy to understand, the art was great, characters were great, and there were no need for deep thoughts. You got what you were shown. Easy as that.

Story: 8
The story was interesting. They made it flow well and it was just good. The first time around I watched it, I don't know, I was bored but I still wanted to continue watching it. It was just interesting but that's just it. I thought it was missing a few things to making it more than just interesting. Sure, it did make me laugh and all and confused in some parts and almost cry in sad parts but I still felt bored but wanted to keep watching it.
Art: 9
The art was good. The characters were drawn nice and the backgrounds were good.
Sound: 10
The soundtracks
...
and the acting were both amazing. I especially liked how they ended the episode in the first ending song. How they would show the next episode preview first and then leaves you hanging a bit by cutting it off and going into the song. I don't know how to explain it but it was really good.
Character: 9
The characters were interesting too. I can't really give the ways the character goes as that might spoil it a bit. All I can say is I can really put myself in their shoes and understand how they feel.
Enjoyment: 9
I can't really say anything about this and I'll leave it to overall.
Overall: 9
The plot was interesting but boring, art was nice and detailed, sound was really great and moved me a bit more than the plot, characters were good looking and they were understandable, and I did enjoy this anime. After finishing it, it left me with some questions and the anime lacked something to make me enjoy it to it's fullest so that's why I can't give it a 10 but otherwise, I enjoyed it and it's a good anime so yes, I would recommend it definitely.
After a while, I don't know why but it just drew me back to it. I feel like I want to watch it again so that's what I'm going to do.

This anime to me was amazing. The characters looked good and the art was good like basically everything was good was what I thought when I watched it. When I watched the first episode my heart was hurting since I felt jealous of how close the two sisters could be. They would hold hands every dang second, outside and inside and even sleeping.
As the anime went on I still really enjoyed it. I felt the pain the third sister was feeling and I could totally understood being left out. I almost even cried. They showed the emotions really well. Every now and then they
...
have comedy going on.
If you like or want to watch something really sweet once in a while or if you like yuri then I would definitely recommend this one. It doesn't even matter if you like yuri, if you just like romance and those kind of anime I would still recommend this since this anime was so sweet. It got me smiling like a big fool when watching it. I wished they would've made it longer than those 7 episodes and 1 OVA for me to be jealous.
