Extremely Likeable main character who is aware of his wrongdoings but keeps on moving forward to fulfill his dream.Though we see MC at their worst state we like them more.Awesome Mecha fights add to the already great story.

Lelouch's struggle and conviction along with hatred and grudge remind of Char Aznable.Both shows made by Sunrise awesome implementation of Mecha in story,both feel the same yet different if you want more of MSG or Code geass must watch.

Watching Unicorn I felt the same excitement as Zeta , conflict of war and main protagonist's ideology about war(though Banagher is more charismatic in a way and less arrogant, tries to understand the situation unlike Kamiyu who is hot headed guy on his way to demolish the corrupted titans good thing he has Char to mentor him or is it?). Spoiler? The amount of excitement when Char entered Gundam is reached everytime in unicorn it is just fun to experience.

...then you might like Kakkou no Iinazuke add

Children mixed up at birth due to error by hospital staff(while in sasurai no taiyou it is for revenge) Them kids grow up in different environments and the concept is interestingly used in sasurai no taiyou whereas in kakkou no iinazuke it is backstory for one of the love interests both are very different kind of shows but i wanted to recommend the drama of Sasurai no taiyou which is akin to that of ashita no joe in its animation and still is entertaining.

An OverPowered protagonist,making through against the adverse conditions,both shows are unrelated and not even of same genre but both share a somewhat of similar spirit.While in Major Goro makes everyone inspire by his baseball love in Saga of Tanya , Tanya achieves things by pressing the practical issues and with almost straightforward pragmatic solution irrelevant of the consequences, in the grander scale Tanya has the win. Both focus on getting people towards a common goal while one is on battlefield other is baseball stadium.

Club members working towards common goals ,while one is set in college other is in school each setting brings unique situations and hilariously solve them.

Atmosphere in the club rooms are strikingly similar though the plots are worlds apart.The vibe circle members give in clubs is identical down to some of the characters,both are a fun watch.

both series are involving otaku culture and makes many references and tropes in a similar way,each episode is a fun ride exploring various issues related.Wotakoi is slightly more romance focused.

Both are heart warming stories that deal with the daily lives of teenagers and an occurring traumatic event. The characters need to get over the death to move on. Here touch is more driven and characters struggle is more entertaining.
