Kyou kara Ore wa!!

Both are hilarious with Kyou kara Ore Wa being, probably, the funniest anime I've seen. Though the comedy in Kyou kara ore wa is not sexualized, unlike GTO, it'll still manage to make your sides hurt.

Both are horror and mystery series with Higurashi being psychological thriller. Higurashi is similar to another in many ways be it the mystery element or the horror or the gore or the pure mindf**k you go through.

As you may infer from the title it's about Ghost Hunting. A group of people are contacted by various people to check out the ghostly thing that are happening to either their house of around them. The case are intriguing and awesome which you can also try to solve with the characters. One thing I love about the cases are that they are not cliches or boring old ghost stories.

Fate/Zero

They both do have one thing in common if not something, that is jaw dropping animation. Kara no Kyoukai is an anime series presented as 7 movies with animation that even exceed the animation quality of Fate Zero. Both are produced by Ufotable and how they managed to pull this off is beyond me. Both have mature themes and violence with KnK moving towards more darker themes. It's a must watch if you liked the fate series, just be sure to watch the second movie as well before deciding.
