Hello everyone,my name is Jovan and i finished watching Sailor Moon Crystal Season III late last night and wow,what a great last episode.
This will be a short review so i will list five things that i liked and didn't like about this season
Things that i liked about this season:1.Animation-Simply put,this is the best looking and most beautiful animation throughout all three seasons of Crystal;2.Voice acting-The Viz Media english dub voice cast for both villains and heroes for this season was stellar,some examples include:Tara Platt as both Usagi's mother Ikuko Tsukino and Kaolinite,Stephanie Sheh as Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon,Lauren Landa as Michiru Kaiou/Sailor Neptune,Kate Higgins as Ami
...
Mizuno/Sailor Mercury,Erin Fitzgerald as Eudial/Yuko Arimura and so on;3.Music-The OST fit the scenes that they were featured in and most of the openings and endings were pretty good and maybe even great,except for one on each side;4.Hotaru's backstory-It was a very emotional backstory,especially the fire and her being turned into a cyborg combination of an alien and a human and i was on the verge of tears when she got reincarnated as a baby and 5.Witches 5-Simply said,this was a group of evil badass women and the best example of this is Cyprine and her twin sisters like half Ptilol,they lasted for one and a half of another episode.
Things that i disliked about this season:1.Most of the Witches 5's appearances were short,except for Cyprine;2.The Chibiusa ending didn't fit the episodes that they were in at all,even though it was nice listening to it the first time;3.There wasn't enough time to develop the Death Busters,but otherwise i have no real complaints:4.The transition between low and high quality animation in episodes,which rarely happened and 5.Cats didn't get enough screen time.
All in all,it was a very good season and i recommend it to everyone who never read the Sailor Moon manga.
Overall rating of the series:9/10.
Music:9.2/10
Voice acting:9.5/10
Characters:8.8/10
and Animation:9/10.
