Both animes are focused on sports and romance. The MCs are both kinda dumb, but also charismatic. They have to grow up in a lot of aspects. The main heroine have different personalities (Suzuka is more of a tsundere), but they're both the ace of their sports. The MCs also have a childhood friend who's in love with them. But anyways, Suzuka is one of my favorite animes. Watching an anime that reminds me of Suzuka that much is really nice.

Both are not only an isekai but also a tensei, where the MC reincarnates in another world in a medieval setting. They're a bit different from each other because Myne takes the body of a person who died as a child while Rudeus was born in this other world. The thing that unites both animes the most in my opinion is the characters' way of handling this new world, how intelligent they are and the slow and detailed development in the story. Myne and Rudeus are thrown in this new reality with a total different culture and law, with real inequality coming from different social hierarchies, nobility, slavery, etc. But unlike the "Hero MC with high morals" cliché, they won't try to change the world to their moral values and impose it on everyone. They'll just live their lives and thake care of their own problems. Sometimes when they face some situation that comes from those things, they choose to accept it while applying a certain earthly fairness. Myne and Rudeus are brainiacs. They like to make plans and even though they might seem reasonable, sometimes they fail. This feeling of unexpectation is what make both stories very rich. But also the fact that the authors take their time to tell the whole story of both Myne and Rudeus, unlike most stories that only show the MC as a baby/child in maximum 1 episode and then he becomes an adult, as if nothing happened before. Both are brilliant works.

The main character was a great prodigy in classical piano as a child, but dropped it due to some traumas with his parents, and the story is about his coming back to the classical music with the help of a heroine who plays the violin.
