Anime's take on "Selling Sunsets". I don't understand why this has a low rating here but the art is good, the plot is so-so but it's enough for a chill and lighthearted anime. Plus it gives a different take to a fantasy anime. Anyone who has lived through searching for an apartment in Japan can relate to whatever this dragon is going through. This has a catchy opening too so that's a bonus. I always find myself laughing through the episodes. The comedy this anime offers is GOLD. From the character design to the subtle references.

As I write this, I sit in the skate leading stars x capcom cafe.. alone. Which had 50% off on food and double the coasters/benefits. First time i've heard of this happening to a collab cafe, basically because this anime flopped so hard. It won't take long for goods to be in bargain bins. It's surprising that this got its own cafe and a whole bunch of merchandise. Who in their right mind thought this was gonna be a hit?! The story's bland. Full-blown erotic manga. Bad relationship development. Everything is too sudden and sexual which is enjoyable if you're in it for the ero. Has a weird and unique premise that oddly works. Apparently in Japan some monks can marry irl. The first encounter seems to be a date-rape kinda thing so I don't really know how to feel about that. Perfect scores for this anime. I am very saddened that this anime did not get a second season. At first, it may seem like a carbon copy of fushigi yuugi which is laughable. You get your red haired bubbly princess of the group, Miaka(Yona). A hunk warrior with short-ish hair, with a fun family, closest to the princess, Tamahome(Son Hak). And you get the long haired emperor good with the sword a third party in the love story of the bodyguard and the princess, Hotohori(Soo Won). Finally, you get the seven stars of suzaku(aka. 5 draggon warriors). Even the hairstyle and clothes are similar.

This anime is so bland and so shallow. I hate it when they serve romance in a silver platter without even any particular backstory or challenge. In this anime, protagonists: Shirayuki and Zen just suddenly fall in love with each other for no particular deep reason. Just, for some reason they're attracted to each other and for some reason they're suddenly inseparable and the best of friends. This anime has no particular solid plot whatsoever.
