Masterful writing and artwork truly a thing of beauty I'd been a fan of the anime for 7 years now I remember waiting after school for it to air but I never read the manga until now, it's great the manga goes more into detail on Kenya who is my favourite character in this whole thing this is a good starting point to get into Seinen series. All of the characters are well developed and I recommend reading volume nine which goes into detail on Kenyas life and childhood absolute gem of a manga can't give it anything but praise Kayo, Kenya and Satoru are

I watched this all today and I really hope for a season 2 Makoto is one of the most interesting characters I've had the pleasure of watching and when joined by Takashi you know that you're in for a great experience I absolutely loved every episode excluding number 5. The art style is pretty standard but appealing to witness while the main interest in the series at least for me is the relationship between the characters and how that reflects Ikebukuro in general.

The story really is something else, If you're looking for a fantastic horror Manga please go ahead and read this it has got everything great about the genre the way they use the art style is in a kind of beautiful horror surrealist approach. No matter how hard I try I just can not get away with this anime I tried 7 episodes a long time ago and there is only one scene (the end of ep1) that interested me during all of those episodes. I hate Mecha anime it's the one genre I can't get away along side romantic comedy. honestly the characters themselves all felt uninteresting the main character seemed dull the only complement I have is that the animation is alright.
Honestly I thought maybe it'll be good from ep 1's ending but then continuing the series along from then it became more and more insufferable to ...

The art was the first thing I am an aesthete when it comes to anime animation and I noticed in regards to this film that the character designs although simplistic are very much detailed in there own right and that rings true for the environmental art as well it was the main thing that kept me invested. Every single frame of this film was beautifully animated and it give me nostalgia for the early 2000s I particularly was enthralled by the use of weather and the way the snow fell every single second of these master crafted scenes are uplifted by it's almost dream like.

Everyone should watch this anime it is a great starting point for anyone everything about it is a masterpiece in storytelling in character development in everything.
The two protagonists are the best part of the show and Al is one of my favourite anime characters of all time, I would recommend this to non-anime fans and hardcore along side each other I watched this on Netflix way back in 2014 when I was 12 and most of the scenes still stick with me today a truly beautiful but haunting experience, a story about loss, forgiveness, revenge and yes brotherhood.
