Some people might think that being bad at swimming is normal and not much of a problem. Some people might also think that mermaids are cute lovable creatures, and in some cases they are right. But in poor Nagasumi's case his normal life is twisted as all his believes are turned against him as he is forced to “sleep with the fishes”. Every episode includes a threat to his life and his struggles to keep his engagement a secret from normal people.

This anime has a one of a kind story line that works very well with the romantic comedy theme. I've seen many romantic comedies ... but this one is a lot different from all others. The fact that they brought mythical creatures and modern reality together isn't new but is still entertaining and it works.

Each character has their own weird perks and personalities who provide the funny yet life threatening situations which result in comedy gold.

Overall this anime is one of my favourites and I recommend every one and any one whether you're into comedy, romance or both to watch it at least once.
