I'm curious how the F this got green-lit into an anime , the story barely progresses , and is disturbing

Not only age gap , He isolates her. Victim blames her. Gaslights her. Manipulates her. Abuses his position as her guardian to get the result he wants and abuses FL's naivete - He could be the same age and I would still find all of those behaviors problematic, triggering, and uncomfortable
Its not the age gap - its the manipulation and isolating control of toxic attachments being played as if its cute and wholesome, coming from the manipulations of a family trusted figure that gives her purposely controlling advice

it’s pedophilia. she’s 15, he’s 27. AND he’s known her since she was like 5 years old while he was in highschool or college ....He raised her ..

The anime was awful. I had to stop after the first few episodes itself. I watched very horrible animes completely ..

I was grossed out too much by how rinse repeat stale the toxic and uncomfortable grooming was already becoming,

even blaming her for being a SA victim and blamed it on her going out at night and being naive...

In manga he gets too touchy with her

No development , no any actual development or enjoyment of the characters would come in manga

In manga , our ML said, "I am your dad, mom, brother, and lover too..."

None of the anime so far has ever allowed me to get past the problematic behavior... Its uncomfortable to watch. Its classic/textbook grooming ..

He was the one in charge of taking care of her when she was around five, maybe 6; he would have been 16 or 17, he would have probably helped her bathe, she would have still been using a booster seat, and he would have seen so many life goals and would have acted as a parental figure, it's weird and messed up that they dated.


Even if you decide to ignore their age gap and weird dynamic between them, he's just insufferable as a character and as a person, he really just ruins her hs experience 'just because' .

I seriously love this show ...

This is a shonen slice of life anime, Spy X Family is an anime of the year candidate.

Spy X Family met and exceeded my expectations.

This is filled with wholesome, comedic and a slice of life between a family full of secrets ...

Haters are going to hate it , but we love it ....

Twilight is GOAT ...On top of being the bestest spy, good cook, fashion model , HONEYTRAPER, bomb disarmer, expert cleaner , HE MANAGES TO gett a daughter, marrying a woman, decorating a whole apartment, adopting a dog, putting up with a creepy brother-in-law, nearly getting killed by the wife , having no sleep , getting stomach-acheyness from daughter's poor grades and wife's bad food, going on so many ootings, all for a for the mission ...




Yor is the best mom in anime , she's kind, she's loving, she's protective, the bestest assissan , expert cleaner , she can kill with her food , she's warm , her acrobatics and martial arts , her strength is AMAZING....... SHE'S WARM AND LOVING.......
SHE'S A STRONG CHARACTER, and she doesn't have fan service , Yor is not the most perceptive in terms of identifying social cues, and she often can't read the room , she can't lie , she wants to be normal just like me , ( i can relate to her) , she sacrificed her whole childhood raising yuri ...( SO DON'T SAY SHE'S BORING IF YOU DON'T KNOW HER PROPERLY) , She's Amazing..


Twilight and Yor's eyes at the beginning of the season - cold and calculating, both thoughts run through their heads...



Twilight / Redacted and Yor's eyes at the end of the season- warm and honest, letting their hearts out , speaking out their feeling , their thoughts , their emotions ....


By the end of this second cour of the anime, we would have seen both Yor and Twilight’s faint memories of their mothers.

These memories are childhood innocence , peace , warm, comforting and Loving even if neither of them entirely remember their mothers’ faces .....


Food is language of love , since all of them starved during War ...

Love how these two are absolutely messes here , the relationship between Yor and Twilight, and the nature of that relationship, has changed over time
