The popularity of Elves has once again skyrocketed because of shows like Frieren and Delicious in Dungeon and most likely there is once again a popular love for the fantasy genre and maybe that's why such a specific show was made about Thicc elves, or well Fantasy creatures.

It is clear that this show has an intended audience, people that like women that are well plussized. Every scene there is some form of 'weight' and so if you dislike that, then this show is not for you. But if you do like that you will most likely like this show.
There is no plot really though ... the idea is interesting. A therapist helping fantasy creatures with their problems that they are facing in our world is a neat idea. Like it would be cool if the show tackled themes like depression, finding a purpose or addiction that would give each episode and fantasy creature more flavour and debt.
Though the show focusus on one aspect being that a fantasy creature (the Elf for example) is overweight and that a diet is needed. Its a simple formula that maximises the amount of scenes with thickness in it. And that is totally allright because the anime does not try to achieve anything really. They only want to please their core audience with thicc Elves for example.

One aspect of the show that I felt like could be done better was that they wanted to give tips on dieting advise or exercise. Yet the scenes when this happens are neither engaging or feel really usefull. "How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?" Is an anime that handled exercising and dieting way better and more informative more likely due too the author of the series thinking exercise is really important (and it is). With this show its more of an afterthought.

I myself do not have a strong opinion on this show but thats because I am not a part of the intended audience nor do I have any feelings too this show. I will complete the show because the 12 minute episode format is convenient and I always like to finish my shows.
Eventually it is a "Ok" show that does not really take risks, but just gives you thicc elves.

Lycoris Recoil is the anime of this season that in its first episode had alot of sceptiscm wether this show would be actually good or that its just an other Yuri bait show with "cute girls doing cute stuff". Regardless, I still wanted to watch this show because I pretty much have an optimistic view regarding these kinds of show, and luckily the show was in my opinion pretty good but it did have some flaws,  though I dont think its either bad or a masterpiece I do ... think overall this show provides a decent experience and hopefully I convince you to give this show try. But lets begin with the review, first I will talk about the good parts I liked and then what I really disliked about this show.

Good:
The story of Lycoris recoil is very intressting and as well unique. If i were to explain it in a nutshell it would be "what if the FBI existed off high school girls trying to prevent crimes before it occurs" . Because the Lycoris is a secret group trying to prevent crime before it happens. Because of that crime rates have never been so low in Japan. The entire plot is revolving about our main characters fighting crime and also helping Takina (one of our main characters) get back in Lycoris after she denied her orders from her higher-ups, as well as staying at a cafe with Chisato (the other main character). They bond over time as friends and making sure that they are identites as secret agents are hidden, but the anime also has plenty of Slice-of-life giving you a breather from all the action and serious tone this show has. As the show progresses we are introduced too our  main antagonist that is much more of threat then they have faced before and then it become rather a cat-or-mouse game between the main characters and antagonist, trying to outsmart eachother or using allies or foes for their benefit coming closer too their own goal of taking the other down. Its exciting as well as intrueging too see how it goes down and I do think its probably one of the best parts of this show. But I also do want to credit the Slice-of-Life because during those scenes it builds our characters and make the world in lycoris feel more believeable as well as its cute and sometimes funny. Though I do understand some people might find it annoying, I do think from amcertain point that it is nessecary as it does add more to certain scenes.

One thing that I also very much appreciate is that the Tone of this show stays consistent. It doesnt go from somebody being killed to a funny scene in a instant though it does happen often in media so I really appreciate that fact about this show. Also, this show might be for some very predictable but not really for me as I didnt expect most of the plot-twist in this show to be fair and its also really clever because in anime is just very normal too see someone with impressive feats and in the back of your mind you will view that like that is totally fine.

An othter thing i want to add is that I think that all the side-characters serve their purpose well and are also pretty likeable, while their might be some side-characters I dont like, they luckily didnt have a lot screentime so its passable. Also the relation between our main characters chisato and Takina is very nice and cute. Though I do think that Takina did change a bit to fast as a character I do think that the interactions she has with chisato are very wholesome and does gives the show the SOL vibes as well as make them a fun duo. Chisato kinda stays the same but in the anime they give a solid explenation too why she doesnt change from character.

One thing I think this show was amazing at were the fight scenes, it reminded me of the film "John Wick" and that is a huge compliment because I do think that the gun fights in the anime are spectacular and think A-1 pictures deserve credit on that department as well as the animation being pretty good. Not masterpiece levels but just above average so that is nice. The OST through the show was decent, and both the Op and Ed were in my opinion pretty good. But one aspect of the show that I think is underrated is the question the show gives you, (based of my viewing experience) "is it ok for a government to keep secrets from their citizens so that they can defend them". I think this has question can have tons of different awnsers

but I myself cant really think of a good awnser. Or i am completely wrong and missed the point of the show yeah you can try to convince me that this show wanted to ask a different question or non at all but I feel like am close to the message this show wants to portray. Or maybe this show is just cute girls doing cute things and I am just crazy for thinking these kinds of questions?

 All this praise may sound like that I truely think this show is masterpiece, but I am now going to the things I really didnt like about this show so.... if you wanted to only hear your show getting praised you dont need the read the review further. But if your still intressted about the things I didnt like about this show then you can proceed.

BAD:
First I want to start of with that I kinda didnt find it believeable that Takina denied her orders from her higher-ups as you would expect that these elite agents are extremely disciplined and would take any order without any consideration. And also the fact that Takina is a very serious character and is very determined to get back in Lycoris makes it kinda out-of-character. Like, I have no knowledge on the department of secret agents though if she was a rookie or more of laid-back character like chisato then I think it would have been more believeable.  But this isnt  so bad compared to the other things happening in this show.

One of the weakest parts of the show is the tension and that is because Chisato can easily beat anyone because she is fast enough to dodge bullets. Yes, not from 100 meters, not 50 meters, but she is able to dodge any kind of bullet from like 1 meter away... I think Chisato is just way to overpowerd in this show and that just removes the tension in most scenes. The only time when the show acctually has tension is when Chisato is unable to fight or when she is not in the scene. I wish this show didnt make her as broken as this. And you can tell me that there is a good reason for that but like, she is just way to OP for this show, if they just made her like maybe 10-40% better then Takina in terms of reaction and speed. And to add , it made certain scenes just weird and almost laugable. If I were to take one scene it would be the scene of (i believe?) episode 9 where Chisato and our main antagonist meet and have conversation with eachother. Chisato knows that the main antagonist has killed people and will commit more crimes risking the lives of others, Chisato has like so many changes to take him down but she doesnt do anything and it kinda pissed me off because it reminded me when "Obi-Wan Kenobi let Darth Vader live despite having enough chance to kill him". And I think no amount evidence can prove me otherwise that that scene was just bad writing. If Chisato was written in a way where she isnt able to dodge bullets from like 1 meter distance but rather like 20-40 meters then the scene would have made sense, sadly it didnt. And you can tell me that Chisato doesnt kill people and your right, but she still could have restrained him because she is skilled enough to take down people in hand-to-hand combat. As well, she got there being hit by a car.... she can dodge literal bullets going 1500ft/s but she couldnt dodge a car. I think I missed something??

Well, because Chisato is so broken the main antagonist isnt threathnig at all. And his character design is kind of dissapointing, its like if Deku did drugs. Also it is sad that he could have been a good antagonist because his plan isnt 100% evil, trying to expose the lycoris is not evil because exposing a secret organisation that no one knows about is not evil, its kind of justice in a sense because the citizens should know the truth. Sadly, our main antagonist kills several people, funds terrorist and also in reality wanted anarchy so instead making him a developed characted you can root for he is now just a villain doing evil shit so that its easier to understand that the Lycoris are the good guys. I think he had potential, at least he is unique in his fighting style using only his ears instead of his eyes. Its kind of neat but now I will talk about an other scene that is again quite frustrating, note that this segment does include major spoilers to explain.

So, the main antagonist does succeed and fully exposes the Lycoris 4K hd in camera to the public, and you would think that this moment on it will be a become kind of a revolution between the citizens and the Lycoris and everyone not trusting eachother. People are getting killed and shot and lots of people are panicking. 10 min later, the cams go off and say, "it was all just a prank, nothing to worry about". And yeah this scene is such a huge let-down, it would have been so intressting but nope. Also this scene doesnt make any sense, how would this be considerd a prank/act if actual people died. I know you can fake lots of things but not people actually getting murderd.... So like, its just a matter of time, friends and family realize that they are missing certain people. How can the public be convinced in an instant that this was indeed a prank it just comes of as unnatural and just bad writing. I mean, people in this day of age are stupid but they wont be this stupid and ignorant. Ok, sure I have done enough scene/story ranting, lets go to characters.....

I have already talked about the main antagonist (Majima), So the characters in this show aren't bad and as I said and I do like the relation between Chisato and Takina but besides that I cant really compliment the rest of the crew. Kurumi is a fine character and is good at hacking and all but I kinda didnt care about her at all because I feel like she doesnt have enough interaction with the rest, but that is probably because she is an introvert. Mizuki is also kinda fine, but I found her very unfunny and wished she was a bit more of a serious character and Mika is just nice but his dialouge is kinda forgettable, thats all. I have not alot of optimism regrading the crew and that is not the fact that they are badly written but like they are mostly only there during the SOL moments of the show but besides that I think they are just ok. If were talking about the other known Lycoris agents they are very forgettable and everything they say is not important. Its always in the form of "Takina, you still screwed and you will never get back in the group". And that is done again and again and just makes you like "whatever". If there is one character in this show I can praise its mr. Yoshi, he is overall a nice character and he has a pretty neat character design as well being great every time he is on screen, except I do think in the last view episodes his character kinda went backwards but he is still a pretty good character. I do not think that the characters are bad but at the same time I do feel like they lack certain aspect that make characters good, the show has decent characters and there is nothing wrong with it. At least the Main characters arent annoying and are just likeable. Lets go to our conclusion.

CONCLUSION:
This show has both good ideas done well and some ideas that kinda missed the point. Some people might call this review nitpicky and sure but I do think the good of this show does outweight the bad and overall as I said I had a decent experience watching this show, I first wanted to include the part wether this show has Yuri-bait or not but then I thought that its kinda weird point to make because I will still like the show regardless and I myself cant really define Yuri-bait. This show isnt a masterpiece as it has plenty of flaws regarding the writing department but at the same time its just an enjoyable show where you can shut off your brain and just watch the amazing animation with some emotinal scenes and also it kinda reminded me of "A certain scientific railgun", and thats a show I really like. "Yes, our expectation of this anime might have been a bit too high"

If I were to use a sentence about describing this anime I would use this one. After the succes of Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru many manga fans of Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san would try to convince you that this anime will be as good as Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru or even better with its unique premise and intressting Side-characters that would blow you away with a couple that everyone will love. After watched this show I can say that "well, that was dissapointing". I will ... tell you why I think what went wrong with this show and why it was such a let down.

Story:
The first problem with this show is that there wasnt really a narrative structure, it felt like every episode random things happend without any ryhme or reason, characters seem to already know eachother without really a proper introduction and you might ask the question, why did they become friends in the first place? Is it because they met eachother at a bar, at school, do they like the same things or did they introduce them to their other friends? If they were to awnser these questions I would feel way more immersed into their world and it would make a bit more sense why they are all such good friends but this show is not only about friendship but also about romance and the romance is bad. If you were to ask me why do the main characters like eachother I can say:" Because they think the other partner is cute I guess...". Yes thats the best explenation I can give about an anime that primairely focussus on the romance. The reason why they do love eachother is in my opinion very vague even around episode 11 when they do give more info its still lacking. Also well I do believe many rom-com anime lack romantic development this anime with 12 episodes almost feels like it has no romantic development at all from episode 1 till 12 the main characters love eachother as much as they did before, its so bad that you can maybe skip the first 10 episodes and begin at episode 11 too have the same experience as some one who watched all episodes. I am not saying that the first 10 episodes are a waste of time but it is an option to skip them but this isnt the worst part about this show yet. Its our main character called Yuu Izumi, every shitty thing that ever happend in its life he will blame it because of his bad luck. Like, if he were too be in a comendy I wouldnt really care about it that much but like come the fuck on. Making stupid mistakes or bad things happening around you and calling it your "bad luck", no you should take responsability for your stupid actions. Also, from what is shown this man can not do shit and always has to rely on his girlfriend (Shikimori). Man I could rant about this caracter for hours but in a nutshell, I really dislike this pathetic character, but at least he isn't Kazuya.

Characters:
The characters are all bland and dont get a lot of development making the experience even worse. Every one of them feels like a recycled anime character that you have probably seen before in other anime rom-coms. Also they do not have any damn chemistry, they just do random shit together but I never had the feeling that they were all close friends but rather people they have met a few days ago. Also I do think the character designs for the most part are also a bit borring and I didnt feel like there was a lot of effort put into it except for the main girl. Also I never laughed at a single joke they made in this show, and maybe because I do not laugh a lot in general but I also do think that the comendy was also very poor in this. If were gonna talk about the characters then we do have to talk about the main girl Shikimori, she has fatal flaw and that is that she doesnt have any flaws. Like the only thing we know she is bad at is cooking, so she is basically perfect, and yes I know the show will tell you that she is struggeling to be cute but is that really a struggle at all if it doesnt affect the main couple in this story, because Yuu thinks she is still cute? I wished the a would have cared a bit more about the main girl that is basically the selling point of this show. While I do not use this word often but calling her waifu-bait is understandble because the trailer of this anime is centerd about her. She has to most detailed expressions and she is also the character with the most screentime in this show. If you are going to watch this show because of her, I wouldnt recommend it. But a show like "Komi-San Can Not Communicate" is the perfect example with a girl having struggles because of her social-anxiety and that struggle does have a purpose in the story, well I do think its handeld poorly I think its way better and relatble struggle instead of being "oh no, I am not cute enough".

Animation:
The animation in this show is decent. Sometimes the anime has frames that make you realize what art is but sadly the animation inst consistent. In the first episode everything looks way better animated compared to the last. But I do not care so much about animation as the other elements of this show but I do think the animation is decent.

Music:
Both the Op and Ending are really nice. The OST throughout the show is kinda forgettable to be fair.

Enjoyment:
I think this anime could be enjoyed by an optimistic rom-com fan but I do think that this show lacks in a lot of area's so I do have a hard time enjoying this show. I think the show maybe wasnt meant for me or I forgot something  about this show that made it great but really. I had a poor experience and that kind of ruined my enjoyment of the show.

Overall:
This show is quite dissapointing and it fails on many levels that make a rom-com great. I do think some one can like this show and there is nothing wrong about it but I do feel like the elements that are missing makes this show very bad. Despite my expectations not being that high I was still kinda let-down and dissapointed about the experience about this show. I will not recommend this show too anyone to be fair, but if you really liked this show I am happy that you found your sastisfaction that I myself couldnt find.....

Well, after the very well recieved movie and that broke Box office records Demon Slayer is back with a season 2. But This review isnt really a review about this season but rather about Demon Slayer as a franchise itself. I have gotta be honest, I like demon slayer but some times I am thinking about it and Then thinking that this is kind of an mess. But not a bad one. In This review I will explain why I think from a certain perspective that this show isnt good. Before you go send hate comments its still my ... opinion so you can disagree all you want, so lets talk about the most important part of any show......

The Story
The story of Demon Slayer is quite simple but its executed poorly with bad writing, poor worldbuilding and an insanely fast pace that doesnt give you time to breath. First lets talk about the very beginning, the beginning where Tanjiro's family is killed. The reason why I am bringing it up is because its a good example of bad writing. First we only get 2 minutes of screen time with Tanjiro's family despite being an extremely important thing because Tanjiro mentions it so many times in the anime that It must be important and also In any fight where he is almost losing he thinks of Family. The problem is that we dont get to know them very well and we cant really relate to them if their given this much screentime. And also, why the hell did Tanjiro have 5 siblings. I knew watching this episode that we were gonna see the entire family dying trope but at least make me give a shit about these characters. If  Tanjiro says how amazing they were but if the viewer doesnt feel that way because we cant give a shit then why give Tanjiro 5 siblings in the first place. oh right to create a bloodier and more shocking scene. Then lets talk about one line that made me think a lot. The line of ep 1 s1 "Demon Slayer corps is an unrecgonized by the goverment". I know it wasnt exactly like that but its the same. Why Is the demon Slayer Corps not recgonized. I mean arent demons a big problem in this world, there are so many demons in this show and a lot of people have even seen demons so isnt that kinda weird, arent demons supposed to be a threat to humanity. I think the reason the author did this is to make this corps mysterious but its also stupid. And also Japan is a pretty big country so does the entire Demon slayer corp operate in all of Japan, and if that is so. Why are all the pillars in one damn place. And also are there only demons in Japan or also in Europe, these questions are entirely ignored by the author because of the extremely fast pace and stupid comendy. Then lets talk about Tanjiro trainings arc or if you want to call it that way. Because in 1.5 episodes 2 years have passed and that is the time when he learns 10 different water techniques but we never get to see all 10 of them until the final fight in season 1. And to be honest, how is the viewer suposed to know wich technique he is using for any senario if they all look the damn same. Your not watching a fight in KNY and be like "Oh, Tanjiro is going to use the 7th technique, because they never explained it that well because of the training of just 1.5 episodes. Also why was Nezuko been asleep for 2 years when later in the series she never sleeps that long again. Oh to create a heartbreaking reunion, yeah that doesnt work because it was 1.5 episodes but still 2 years passed like couldnt the arc not be like 6 episodes before it felt earned. Then lets talk about a thing this show almost ignores completly. The ranking system. So after the exam arc it was mentioned that there are 10 different ranks amongst demon slayer and the characters after that exam are at the bottom but in the entire show we never get to see all ranks so why introduce it in the first place. The only three ranks I know are pillars, Tanjiro's friends and some unnamed demon slayers that die so easily. It would be way more fun to say to look at demon slayers who are like the 2nd strongest in the corps
Besides Pillars and see what they can do, or heck. If your not going to show all ranks of Demon slayers then dont make 10 different ranks if we see 3 different ranks in the entire show it just feels stupid to include, I wish the author spend more time into this but nope.

Then lets talk about the second training arc that is handeld way better because it was done in a bit slower pace and the ending of the arc felt way more earnend. One thing I am kinda dissapointed at is for the author to kill multiple lower moons because then Tanjiro could fight those lower moons to become stronger and stronger in a believable way but nope. Kill them all and give it to the 1st lower moon and then kill him off in a lame way because we need to finnish the story quikley as it seems... Then lets talk about a thing the author loves the most, Backstories. Mostly, in any story you give a character a backstory to make for example their motivation more clear and gives reason why characters behaves like that. But in demon slayer its given to any character that is dying, and to be honest I dont really give a shit if they are dying. But sometimes a character does get a backstory while they are not dying but those kind of thing are rare in a show. And to be honest you dont need backstories to give your characters development. Lets look at Darth Vader who didnt have any backstory and is still considerd as one of the most iconic character/villain in fiction. Even hearing him breath you know who he is. Backstories arent meant for character development but rather getting to know about the characters himself. And if thats your only way to write characters then you know that the characters arent well written because of poor writing/fast pace. An other thing I like to point out are the boring settings, this one is extremely nitpickey but almost all the locations in KNY are kinda boring to me but that is my opinion. And also in the manga there is tons of plot-armour and bullshit moments but I cant tell you because those are heavy spoilers. Now lets talk about anything that can make a show good or bad and that are....

The Characters
The characters of Demon Slayers are....okay I would say. We would mostly look at main cast and that are, Tanjiro,Nezuko,Inosuke and Zenitsu. In a nutshell we have loveable but generic mc, Jesus-chan without character development, Peppa pig on steroids and the unfunny loud obnoxious guy.

Tanjiro
Tanjiro is the mc and to be honest that is pretty clear. He gets the most screentime and we mostly look at his point of view, but he does lack one thing and that is character devlopment. In the entire story he is still the same character and thats kinda borring, he has this nice guy personality and to be honest thats an extremely borring personality. I wish the author put as much care in the design of Tanjiro as well as his character devlopment because damn I really like his character design both in the manga/anime. And an other problem. He is to op and has lots of plot armour. He wins every fight and that really just removes the tension, and he will mention family and then I am really like. Why should I care if I barely know them...

Nezuko
Nezuko is in my opion waifu bait and is without a doubt the dullest character in the entire show. Everyone is like: "oh..she is so cute". But no one is like: "wow. What a well written character". I wonder why? Yeah the author couldnt even give her development. And I know what some people might say:"you cant really develop a character who cant even talk", but hey fun fact:"Blind people can see in their dreams" so thats no excuse for maybe Nezuko having some inner  voice, that would be cool and that makes a lot of sense. That would have improved her character greatly but nope. Wasted potential. Also she is just to perfect and if you have read the manga you know what I mean.

Inosuke
Inosuke is my favorite character in the show. And I know that his introduction was kinda rough but I thinks he is great comic relief character that isnt loud or annoying and can some times make me Smile because of his personality. I cant really talk a lot about him but he is at least the bright light of all the shit this show has to offer. Man, this cast seems cool. I hope there isnt some character that makes this show go from a 6 to a 5. Oh wait!........

Zenitsu
Zenitsu is the worst part of this show. He is annoying, doesnt do facking shit. And is here to show to cry the entire time. He has his moments but I dont give a fuck of how terrible he is as a character. Its such a shame that he had pretty good character design but still he is so goddamn annoying. Going from telling girls to marry him and has an unhealty affection for Nezuko. But the man thing that angers me the most is that most of the Demon Slayer fandom says that he is going to become a good character even tough thats not even the case. He only changed for a few minutes and then changed back to its old self. Liking this character is the same as liking Jar Jar Binks from Star Wars.

Some of the other side-characters are fine but do just lack character development and an intressting personality or be likeable. With one backstory you aren't gonna change my mind. Some characters like Rengoku or Akaza I do really like but compared to other anime they aren't even considerd well written. The romance in this show is also really dissapointing and fails at so many things that the show does it a few time and then we forget for a long time and then it comes back.

The  comendy in this show is painfully unfunny and don't get me wrong its not the worst I have ever seen but damn its shitty. This show doesn't even need comedy and the comedy doesn't even work well with a show where people are brutally murderd by demons, I mean ofcourse there is nothing wrong with putting comedy in a show where lots of people die but it does matter how much comedy there is. And Demon Slayer just has to much of that that it takes away the tension or emotion that any scene had.

The villains are also bad, the demons are as average as the demon slayers. There motvation is dull and their lines aren't memorable. The main villain from kny doesn't come over as a threat or cool in any way. He just looks like a regular ass dude that even got touched by Tanjiro without noticing his presence like seriously, are we supposed to be afraid of this guy. The only thing that makes him stand out is that he looks like Michael Jackson but nothing else. The backstories of certain demons can be sad but thats still no excuse for the author. Couldnt they do like a Tokyo Ghoul kind of thing where it also humanizes the demons instead of this being black-and-white. Then it would be at least understandble why Tanjiro feels sad when he kills a demon.

At the end of the Demon Slayer is just a mediocre Shonen that is loved by millions and getting milked by death by Ufotable. Some people compare Demon Slayer to Star Wars and I could see the similarities but at least Star Wars has well written characters. I could get mad over this anime and all the problems it made but that won't change anything. If people like flashy colours and great animation then they wouldnt even give a fuck what the anime itself has to offer. At the end of the day Demon Slayer proves one thing. You dont need a good story or good characters, you just need Good animation.

Dragons..... Dragons are pretty awsome. My favorite movie from my childhood is called "How to train your dragon". But dragons are mostly depicted in Europe as these big beast who breath fire. In chinese mythology they are depicted as these long but very wise creatures, and in Japan? They are cute anime maids, yes I am not joking. This anime is my favorite anime of this season.

At first glance it looks like your typical harem show where there these girls with massive breast and zero personality but your wrong, dead wrong in fact. This anime surely subverts the harem genre because the one with a ... harem is a woman, and she is not surround by guys. Nope only lustful dragons with lots of personality. So this is one of the few scenarios where bot the male/female watchers win. But this show isnt only ass or tits but rather just extremely adorable or enjoyable. Well you could see some scenes as that, in the grand scheme of things I dont really think I watch this show because of that. This show has a way of writing that is both unique and compelling. The relations of these characters like Thoru and Elma are extremely well written that most shonen like Demon Slayer struggle at. Yes a SOL has better writing then most shonen i am dead serious. But not only that the characters in this show are also extremely awsome.

They all have some quirks and very distinctive personalities and all diferent but amazing designs. And I know that some of these characters may not be your cup of tea because of their design or their personality. But I really like them all, and yes even Fafnir. The way how the author writes these characters are just mostly interactions between characters and some times some sort of backstory to flesh a character out. Luckily the author knows that backstories arent the only way to write your characters unlike an other show. But for Example the newly introduced character Ilulu that had a "special" design. I already liked  her after like 2 episodes becuase of the interactions she had with the characters and she blends in with the cast very well. The other characters like Kanna are as cute as ever and the other characters are just as fun as last season. This anime does expand their universe in meaningful ways and its also fun to see characters like Kanna in NY because she had a fight with Koboyashi, lol these scenarios are so random but still makes lots of sense regarding the anime we are watching.

This is one of the few animes that made wednesday a better day then friday. All because of this anime with dragon Waifu's and fun adventures that subvert the echi genre to the point where it doesnt seem right to say this show is indeed an echi. But I did enjoy it a lot. And I mean a lot, I am truely happy for seeing this show back from its former glory.

Talking about how this show looks and feels, its fantastic. The fights are so epicily animated that this show is just a middle finger to most shonen fights. The lightning truely captures the SOL feeling and the background looks amazing as hell. The water effects are also pretty cool and the faces are extremely expressive and how everything looks its just damn clean really amazing.

Talking about voice actors and the songs this show just doesnt hold back at all. All the actors have amazing voices and totally suite their character. Well I normally I am not the biggest fan of both Op's and Ed's but this show had both absolute bangers. Its pretty much inspired by "Blend S" but still I really like them. Maybe my favorite ending of this season. The OP  is a hard choise because of the masterpiece called [Analogy], but I still really liked the "Ai No Supreme". Ok the rap part is also epic I forgot.

I give this anime a 9 Thoru's dragon Tails out of 10. Damn, this show is refreshing...

The Anime named Nagatoro is in my opinion the most popular show of this season. Some people might say its Zombieland Saga or My Hero Season 5 But hey those are both sequels So I don't really think it counts. Because this Anime was so popular it also caused some contraversy on Twitter because the Girl in the show is Tan, Yes thats what they are mad about. And that the creator of the Manga made a "Special D O U J I N". But this review isnt about them but about how I feel about the anime itself. And to be honest, it isnt ... good and I will tell you why. But hey opinions exist so you can disagree ofc....

"Please dont tease me Nagatoro" is the title of the anime and has In my opinion 1 of the worst beginning episodes of All anime. And that is because our Main character is getting bullied and gets traumatized and even cries because of a girl. Bullying in general isnt good and everyone who got bullied once know that so if thats one of the traits you give your characters in the beginning a lot of people will for sure hate that character. But this trait is given to one of the main characters of the show so its just dissapointing man. Lucky enough this is only episode 1 because the next episodes are rather teasing instead of Bullying so thats good. And to be honest it does get more wholesome tough it does suffer from your average romance anime tropes so it isnt like top tier romance or so. The jokes in this Anime are mostly references to other popular franchises or Haha, he accidently grabbed her boobs and shit like that and I dont like that. Not at all. One other big comlaint I do have with this show is that its to lifeless. And think, because in Total this show has ""6"" characters , yes, 6. And its really annoying becuase the 4 other side-characters are rarher boring and unintressting to the point where I should say that they are fan-service and Oh boy I hate that. There isnt even a lot of development character wise and for show with just 12 episodes it is kinda acceptable but not for a show that has in total 6 Characters thats just insane. And I have read the Manga and it doesnt get any better. Include characters like "teachers" or "students" becuase it has a highschool setting or "family". Something that just makes the show just more believable. With dialogoue it isnt going to work because it adds nothing. And to be honest I cant really tell a lot about the story because its a romance/Slice of Life so you cant really talk about the story except, yeah these characters like eachother in an abusive way. Now lets talk about characters and It doesnt get better.

The characters in this show arent good an as I already said there are only 6 characters So how the hell did the Author fuck this catogory up. Most characters are in my opinion flat and just like other character anime sterotrypes except one and I will know talk about the best character in the show that started of with the worst traits a character can have, Nagatoro.

Nagatoro-
Nagatoro is one of the two main characters in the show and is in my opinion maybe the best character in the show because she isnt bland or she isnt again 4921th Tsundere or shit no. She is a character that teases her Senpai and thats all. She is in my opinion in certain scenes "cute" and has a unique personality and to be honest, from a certian point of view she is helping our main protaganist stand up for himself instead of being a loser. Even tough I hated her in the beginning I kinda like the direction she is going and Really think she is a solid character.

Senpai-(has a weird name or shit idk)
I have read the manga and seen the anime but damnit I forget his name every time. Well that doesnt matter, it does matter if he is a good character and yeah....NO. The problem is that he is your wimpey main character and he doenst have any special traits except ofc that he is some machonist and that he likes being teased like yeah. I also hate how they handeld him, he is so generic and that is just really dissapointing. He does kinda change but still he is making weird sounds if he only sees Nagatoro's legs..I think he is probally better then a Kirito like Mc but still way to virgin to the point I just want to say, just Stfu and don't get bullied by a girl like ccom man dont be such a simp. And also his look is really generic and nothing eye catching like Nagatoro.

Then you have the 4 other Girls wich I forgot their name for a reason but damn their character designs are just in my opinion bad. The only reason why they seem to exist is fan-service becuase in 80% of the scenes they are in are fan-service and they aren't really well developed characters, even as far of the manga we don't know a lot about them except ofc that they are Nagatoro's friends. They aren't funny in any way becuase I supose they were meant to be comedic relief characters or something. Because I still dont know what role they have to the story. Maybe I am a bit to harsh but I will give the anime some points making the friendship between them and Nagatoro more believable, but I still dont really like them.

Art-
Well the anime toned down a litle compard to the manga but it was pretty solid not gonna lie. The character faces are expressive and the frames are pretty well drawn. I really like it.

Sound-
The Op is very catchy but it really isnt my favorite. It is good to be honest, the enidng is fine but not as good. The soundtracks in this show aren't really memorable but they were fine I guess.

Enjoyment-
Because I read the Manga I will be nicer to this catagory, I really liked the way the relation ship progressed in this anime. It isnt to fast like most shows to slow like others. I think it has a good balance. And most of the scenes where Nagatoro and Senpai are alone its mostly very wholsome or lewd. But sadly the jokes in this show are as funny as 'Amy Schumer', none of the jokes were well made, creative or funny. It was like your generic anime jokes and I really fucking hate that. Just as once this guy said-"You either are the best, or die like the rest"-. What an amazing quote. But yeah, it wasn't good.

Overall-
Nagatoro anime was fine but not as good as the manga, and maybe that is the artstyle or the way it feels. The anime did the manga justice but not entirely. I think anyone who wants to see a unique slice of life/relationship in an anime should probaly watch this show. If your not that intressted in those genres I wouldnt recommend the show because story/characterwise it has a lot of problems...

Combatans will be dispatsched, the english title of the anime is an anime that exist. Did it have to exist? Not really, it is just a piece of work that I have so many problems with and its even worse after I knew who the author was. So lets give a small introduction to this Anime, it is an Isekai comendy show with a cast of a loli, a pervert, stupid and fan-service. Does that sound familiar, yeah its kinda the same as Konosuba but way worse in every aspect. And the worst part is is because its the same guy who made konosuba also ... made this, piece of shit "work". The thing what angers me the most isn't that he is going to make an other comendy anime but rather again using the Isekai setting, this not only limits his jokes and you know what happens than but he could have used so much other genres instead of Isekai, but nope, an other Isekai anime comendy. And he also didn't fix his problems that Konosuba had and you know what those problems were, so lets talk about the comendy of this show and man its bad.....


Comendy in general is a very subjective genre from itself. Some people see comendy like,"If its funny, its good". And thats the thing, some people laugh at the jokes of female comedians and other don't, becuase that is how were made. We are different from eachother but we cant deny when a joke is good or not. None of the jokes in this show are good. Its mostly  cringey anime references or a character doing something stupid and other characters making comments about it. The thing is, I didnt laugh once in this entire show. And to be fair I also never laughed while watching Konosuba but at least I was enjoying the anime, this anime I am not enjoying because the jokes are so bad and so boring that I just cant enjoy it. The other thing is is because this work is made by the same author doesnt mean it has the same quality, Konosuba can act like this is a good anime but please tell me, is it because of the person who created it. Now lets talk about the last part of the comendy and No....why this shit. Look, this is why I mostly like 3d>2d because of, the fan-service. "●FANSERVICE ISNT COMENDY YOU MORRON●". So, grabbing boobs is considerd funny in our sociaty. I just dont understand, why has the fan-service been doubled since Konosuba. This is insane to the point where you can make this show a hentai and I wouldnt even care. What a huge f--king dissapointment, he still hasnt learnt his mistakes. Its just sad but

Every single character in this show is just Konosuba characters but just way worse in like so many different ways. The charm is gone and the chemistry between the characters doesnt even work. They are just bland, unfunny. Not intressting and so many other problems. The author tried to recreate the characters from konosuuba but failed miserbaly. Its just not fun to watch characters talk and make bad jokes, its just f--king annoying. The characters aren't in anyway memorable or fun as I have already said, but hey, he at leas tried so thats good. But yeah It turned out terible. This is the reason why the setting shouldnt have been an isekai maybe something like a highschool or something but nope, just Isekai. *Sigh*.

Wtf, after 12 Years the AOT manga has endend and the ending had a big impact on the fanbase itself. But even this time the fans don't even defend Isayama anymore then you know how much he f--ked up. The worst part is that he made jokes like "If I am done, I will open a spa of the tears and sweat of my readers". Yeah any fan would cry from the inside if the person they are looking up to says "Fuck You". Its just what Disney did to Starwars, the triology came to an ending but nope we need sequels ... that are as bad but not worst then these last terrible chapters.

In conclusion AOT was once considerd a mordern masterpiece that fell from his grace when Isayama hired a few people to write the last chapters of the Manga, so bad was it written. I can now say that Isayama is a bad writer. I would like to know in a different universe how AOT would have turned out, where it were only titans and no titan-shifters/paths/politics and that the story was just about mindless titans. Yeah it would have been less intressting but that could have ended way better then this shitty ending. Because I always liked the charm of Aot from season 1. If they kept that then it would take a different route but a way better one in my opinion.

Chapter 1 to 123 are mostly really well written but I dont know what he was smoking when making chap 124 to 139. I was never a fan of this arc but this arc shows wich characters have plot-Armour, destroying the main trio characters arcs(except Armin) and with a terrible happy ending that could  have been done way better but he cracked the code to make the worst ending. The motivation of Eren is now just a joke and he couldnt kill characters because he was scared of his fanbase. Verry funny because everyone was always like, oh boy these characters wont survive for long. "Thats a lie", and how did the romance go now that I am thinking hmmm..... Idk. Oh yeah (spoiler alert) Eren turns into a bird, symbolism 100. Hahahahaha......thanks Mappa for adapting the best part, how they would react to making the ending.....This is sad, worst 1 April joke ever Issyami.

This is all, what a terrible rollercoaster, it still wasnt finnished yet.....I rather consider AOT doujins canon then this ending, f--king hell. I need to see "How To Train Your Dragon 3" again to know what an amazing ending is.

The only good part about the ending was the art. I hope the anime goes Original so that anime fans dont suffer the same way but I fear the worst. Spoiling AOT now isnt that big of a crime anymore. F--k this shit man, 12 Years of Work ruined becuase of 1 chapter, what a Mad lad........

My god....never did I undertsand the hype of this anime. I talked to some people on Discord why they liked it and they said, "I like the slice of Life elements in the anime" and "the anime is funny". And still I dont understand, yeah I could see the slice of life elements but people this season die right and left and show blood because the anime is trying to be "DARK" but still the style is to childish for the theme of the anime itself. I dont like this anime maybe becuase it isnt for me or the ... show is just objectivley bad just like my English.

Story-
The story of this season expands the worldbuilding and introduces new races and characters and also the racism against humans. As I already said in the beginning of my review that people are dying right and left and its up to our Main Protaganist to revive pointless chracters but hey, he has to do it because the story tells him to. Look, we dont get a sad but good anime like AOT where a lot of characters die and where you are like damn, they will never come back but in this anime its like "Oh no, this chracter died, anyways". Fucking stupid. And its never established why humans are racist against monsters, is it becuase they are "Different". How the hell do humans have this much power, they arent as strong as orcs, they cant live as long as elves and they dont have that good of a smell compared to beastman but still they have this much control. Couldnt the anime focus more on that instead of our Protaganist killing a bunch of meatballs. An other problem with this anime is that the Protaganist is just to OP. The tension is just removed and I just dont care about any fight in this show because I know how its going to turn out. Also I dont understand the side-quest because those are fucking lame but hey, we got to have them or else we will lost our fans. And what the hell is up that the Mc is teaching a bunch of kids how to use magic, never understood that part but you know what. I dont care really, becuase of how bad the story itself already is. Also, the pace is insulting for how fast it goes but thats not that big of a complaint.

Characters in the show belong in 3 catagories and none of them are well written or funny in any kind of way so lets talk about that.

1. Man oh man, why are there so many characters in this catagory. Like 40% of all chracters of this show belonged here. In the entire 12 episodes of season 2 I didnt laugh or smile a bit. I was like, "can this already end please". For some reason the comendy is just bad in this show, characters make funny faces and annoying sounds and think I am supposed to laugh, the jokes get repetitve and just badly written just like the characters them self. And lets go back to an other point. Because so many characters in this show are "Comedic" is even trying to make the anime "DARK" an extremly stupid idea. For other anime like AOT its justified because there only like a few characters and they are also well written. So, please stop doing this to me.

2. I dont even have to explain myself do I. Female chracters with boobs of the size of her head is already enough to make me hate an anime. Exept ofcourse if she is well written, well saidly no. None of the Fanservice characters are well written. Its just becuase the author didnt have a plan what to do in certian scenes so he was like "hmmm, boobs are a good idea" please, give me a break. I think like 15% belongs to this catagory. But still, fuck that trope man.

3. Well, I dont understand but I cant even name a single character in the show besides the main character. This just shows that this show is just filled with pointless side characters that have something to say because of bullshit. I dont know why and how this happend but they could have at least some well written characters right? Sigh, I guess not. Verry sad indeed. And I dont know if I just dont pay a lot of attention or if the show is just bad.

I forgot to talk about the protaganist but he is the best witten character in this show but that isnt really a plot-twist because he has the most screen time. I liked him more in his slime form then in his loli form because that is such obvious fan service. Not the worst Isekai Protaganist but not the best either.

As I already said, I think that the art style is not that bad but if the show tries to have some darker elements, the art doesnt work well with that but the art isnt really that insulting like devilman crybaby,"Cough,Cough"

Enjoyment-
I dont know how I feel about the show but maybe its just me. Maybe this isnt my cup of tea and maybe it isnt even meant for me but I just didnt enjoy it alot. Yeah some of the fight were verry well animated stil, I knew how the fight was going to end and that kinda ruined it for me. Also as I said, the characters themself are just bad and dont add anything to the story or the anime. This wasnt a fun experience and thats sad becuase I expected more.

Overall-
You know how I feel about this anime. In my opinion it isnt a good anime and is as good as the average Isekai. It tried to be something diffent and they did it kinda, but still I see this anime as not good and I hope the next season isway better and fixes some of the flaws this season has.

Jujutsu Kaisen is the newest shounen from this season and how good is it truly you may ask? Its good, but overhyped way to much for what this anime has to offer. Most shounen shows in general are pretty well, not that good but at least I am happy that this show is one of the better shounen. In a nutshell this anime is Demon Slayer but better. No poor writing or worldbuilding tough it does suffer a few problems just like my English.

Story-

The story of jujutsu kaisen is kinda fast paced but maybe not to fast. The story has ... alot to offer but the idea isnt the most original but the way they exucute it is done very well. The power system in the world is dark energy, thats an unique idea and that is always welcome. This show does include filler-episodes and comendy and that kinda makes the show a bit worse but not by a lot. The first 10 episodes of Jjk are mostly refreshing and are slow paced in my opinion. This is good because then the anime could establish the characters, the world and the story. But later episodes are a bit faster paced and I dont know how to feel about those. The worldbuilding in this anime is promising and isnt all to bad but one thing what is in my opinion holding back this anime is the comendy. This anime suffers the same problems as demon slayer because first some one getts brutally murderd and the next scene the mc and sidechracters make funny faces and stupid jokes that dont fit the tone well of the anime. And the jokes in general arent good or funny in any kind of sense. I think that I like smiled once when they talked about a woman with a big butt, it was unexpecting but it was pretty good. But later the comendy isnt really that funny. The backstories in this show were pretty good but nothing like mindblowing, I do think that the last episodes kinda went downhill but hey thats my opinion. The explenation they gave us in the anime is good and makes everything verry clear, I also like anime that are dark just like this one and thats the reason why I just dont like the comendy, to be honest. I think the story of jjk is exucuted well tough It does have few mistakes but that doesnt really mean that it is bad.


Characters-

I think this part is prolly the worst part of the show, not because I hate it but all the other parts of this show are really good and I will tell you why....

Itadori-
He is fun mc tough I wont really call him special or refreshing. If were mostly looking at his point of view and that cool so we can be suprised as him if something unexpected happend. But as I said. He isnt really the best protaganist because I dont truly care what happens to him or anything. I do like him demon side a bit more but thats all I have to say.

Megumi-
He is an okay side character tough I just dont have a lot to say about him. He isnt really well written in the story and thats kinda a shame because he belongs in the main trio of the anime.

Kugisaki-
I am happy that she isnt fan service but she does suffer the same problem as Megumi, she doesnt have a lot of development and that kind makes her an okay character. It isnt that I like her its just that I dont she is well written.

Satoru-
He is one of the best characters in the show and there is a reason why. First he is hot and second, every time he is on screen its always fun to watch and cool. I think that he has one of the coolest abilities in the anime and he is also verry stylish. I just like him, thats all.

Todo-
He is the man we all want as a friend, he is the only comic relief character in this hshow that is done right. I like him because of personality and design and becuase we have the same taste in women. He is pretty much the most fun character in the show.

Panda-
Pretty cool character, doesnt add alot to the story but he isnt the worst character in the show. He does look like some one.......

Jogo-
He didnt have a big impression on me but that doesnt mean I didnt like his power.

Mahito-
He is probally the meansest character in the show and maybe also the one who forms the biggest thread beside sakuna, he did leave some sort of impression but I have to see more of him to call him a well or poorly written villain.

These were all characters that had some impact in the story and how I tought about them. I do think they need more development but this anime has 24 episodes so I dont blame them for a cast this big. But hey I do like most characters dont worry.

Sound-
The first Op and Ed were bangers, lets be real. The second Op was intresseting but wasnt as impactfull and the second ending made me feel sad so I think that Manga readers know something, please dont spoil.

Art/Animation-
Wow, MAPPA has done it again, it looks amazing and the animation is so fluid. No wonder why Aot fans are so Salty. Kinda sad. But dont blame Mappa, blame the shitty comitte.

Enjoyment-
I really liked this show a lot, even tough it had flaws I do think what it had to iffer was amazing, I hope season 2 will be as good or maybe even better idk. I liked it a lot. But, this isnt my favorite anime of the season. That goes to a other anime. Still 3rd favorite anime of this season. This is all bye...
