Tianjiang Xianshu Nan, or Tian Jiang Xian Shu Nan, is one of my favorite manhua/s. I frequently re-read it to this day.

The art is very good, even with the watermarks (it eventually gets better). It's very vibrant and colorful, with plenty of pretty visuals.

The characters are likable, and effectively comedic.

The story is engaging, with many story arcs and long chapters. It is one of the few stories I know that breaks-down gender roles and stereotypes. Believe it or not, the protagonist doesn't end up with the tsundere bad boy!

Overall, it's a good read, and one I thoroughly recommend.

If you like ... Mizutama Honey Boy or Otomen, you will probably like this for the breaking-down of gender roles alone. In terms of art, it has a similar style to many of the translation team's other manhua projects.

Skip Beat! had everything I could hope for in a good anime - a compelling story, amazingly likable characters, and great humor.

I found myself thoroughly engaged in the Kyoko's story. A few minutes in and I was already invested.

I had to stop watching so I could vent about Shotaro's betrayal, even though I knew about it before hand. And I still do, as I read the manga. Not many anime can do that to you... make you feel for the characters' situation to that extent.

This, in my opinion, deserves all the praise it gets. That's why I scored it so high. It's ... like a breath of fresh air among the crowds of newer, clichéd shows that come out all the time. A must see for any anime fan.

Fair warning, though: the anime does not have an ending. It was one of those shows that were cancelled before the manga finished. So the anime only goes up to volume 11 (chapter 66) of the manga, leaving many plot points unresolved. However, the manga continues well past that.
