I have seen this anime's trailer on Youtube and since then, it has been on my list for a few months. I am really not good at reviews but this anime deserves it.
I loved this anime so much, I did not want to rush and end it but it still took me two days no matter how slow I tried to watch. I will try not to include any major spoilers but I might end up putting a few small ones, so proceed with caution.

anime. There are some very unique creatures that I have never seen in any game or anime before, even though they are inspired from real life animals.
If you are looking for a calm, relaxing, soothing anime that will make you feel genuine emotions, then do not think about it and give it a chance.
The story is not necessarily about a father-daughter relationship but it is rather Golem developing emotions. At some point I really would not be surprised if Golem magically got a heart at the end and became a human. Somali is a really adorable, curious child. She loves Golem, the difference between them means nothing to her and she always tries her best to support Golem.
Everyone can be a father but not everyone can be a dad and you can really see the truth in that sentence in this anime.
Each episode, we are introduced to a new side character and they are so well written that in that 15-20 minutes that we see them, we actually grow attached to them. *SPOILER IN NEXT SENTENCE* When I saw Yabashira and Shizuno appear at the end again, I felt so happy that I got tears in my eyes again.

I think the anime showed human nature perfectly. Attacking and labeling those who are different than them just for being different and then being mad for what they are going through. But seeing the relationship between Somali and those other characters, you see that things can change for the better if people were not so quick to judge and take action. So, this anime is actually an eye-opener in that regard.
I wish the anime was longer, the second I finished watching it, I went to look for the manga. Due to author's health problems however, it was cancelled. I really wish her health and really hope she continues to do her work.
