Mine is the baked bean with tomato sauce
Simply delightful, innit bruv?
bruuuuh, that's not what I was talking about. Basically, if I see a shounen tag I'm gonna expect action (be it mental or physical), and some sort of hero villain narrative. When I see the seinen tag the only expectation I have for the show is that it's going to tackle mature themes. That's it.
100% of people know that these are demographic tags. You ain't special
First of all, the terms shounen, seinen, ecchi and maybe isekai have evolved to a point where it's okay to call them genres. When you think of a show of a certain genre, say mystery, you have some expectations towards the show. Same with thriller, action and others.
Similarly when I think of "Shounen"/"seinen" anime I have some expectations towards the show, expectations that have been built upon due to past experiences with shows labeled as such. If that's not the definition of "genre", tell me what is.
>> I say you should stop using these words because you're using them wrong
great superiority complex you've built up there
Lmao, WHAT?? Are you for real right now? By that logic fucking Doraemon is seinen, because here most adults watch it.
>> Just say it's mature or not nigga no need to use these Japanese words
*sigh* If only we were not fans of medium that has its origin in Japan.
Edit: Yes
I wonder if there is a hidden meaning behind this
