I absolutely love the movie it covered a good amount of the manga with the time it was given but as a lot of other people may agree and disagree with my opinion I will die on the hill knowing it should’ve been Miku in the end, as the story starts with her progression of a character only to info dump a backstory for Yotsubas interactions with Futarou that he shared a couple days with outside her childhood interaction she had very little romantic advances towards Futarou as the others.
Miku caught feelings fast and improved herself to gain confidence to confess, Nino was persistent when
...
it came to her confessions (After a bit of self realisation that she had feelings for him), Ichika would’ve given up her sisters for her love to the point of sabotage and was even considering stealing Futarou after Yotsuba rejected him, then there’s Itsuki who did even less than Yotsuba only thing I liked about Itsuki was she was the only good big sister to Raiha despite being the youngest of the quintuplets.
The tears I shed in this movie were solely for Miku and Ninos loss those 2 had the best qualities and most screen time if you’re a Yotsuba fan you’d of course be happy with the end result but I needed to get these feelings off my chest as this was one of my favourite romance manga that I’ve been following since it was translated to English with each cliffhanger and teary eyed moment that every chapter had me craving more
