Excellent Visuals and Sound but lacking in Story and Character Development. Overall enjoyment is great as the show kept me wanting for more at the end of every episode.

Story wise, there is not much coverage on how the protagonist ended up in his present day situation and flashbacks were all over the place without proper flow. The show is pretty much an Episodic, Situational Comedy, Slice of Life about the average life of Novelists with nothing special or exciting to look forward to in the next episode.

Light-hearted show with a good mix of comedy and beauty topped with a secret but minor whip cream of serious lore. Unfortunately, the World Building falls short of expectations as there was no explanation with regard to whether this is an Isekai, Game World, or Full Fantasy.

Story - While majority of the show is based around situational and slap-stick comedy, a slight hint of serious lore and plot towards the end of the season helped put some depth ino the show instead of a simple "laugh it off and forget it later" sentiment.

Contrary to what the title speaks for itself, I would prefer to call it "Forbidden Love Pride" instead. While the first episode did well in terms of providing an "Assassination" look and feel, the rest of the show failed to keep up with the premise of "Assasinate or be assasinated".

As a viewer, I did not feel any fear of being assassinated at any point of time throughout the journey but more of petty and dirty politics being played by various noble houses in a fantasy world setting which did not establish itself well either.

So where are the Assassins and where is the pride?
