NNNOOOOOOSSTTTALGIAAAAAAAAAA DRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYBU~
Five months after the original series, this is the best line I could describe my feelings while I'm watching the OVA
When I first hear the word OVA, the first thing that comes to my mind is "filler" or pretty much something pointless to the plot and just an episode for enjoyment that is mostly composed of fanservice but instead White Fox gives us a little sequel to the original series, which is AWESOME.
This OVA greatly met my expectations, it has almost everything that I enjoyed in the original series. Well first of all is the romance between Okabe and Kurisu then the complete cuteness
...
of Mayuri to the English speaking Okabe that got him caught by the police two times in a row. But of course, there was also suspense, from Okabe running down nowhere thinking he was gonna die to the chasing of a look-alike of Suzuha.
Story: 10~
The whole OVA is centered on the whole team leaving for America because of Feyris' invitation but it is actually for the reason behind Kurisu having little dreams or memories from the previous world lines Okabe has gone to.
We start with Okabe talking in the phone about the good ol' Organization walking down a road which is a complete mystery. A very Steins;Gate-like start as I would say. After speaking through the phone, he spoke the classical three words, El. Psy. Congroo. It gave me a hell of a nostalgia attack and after that we are shown back in the lab with the lab members leaving for America because of Feyris-tan's invitation and before they left, we are shown with a little moe scene of Moeka, which I liked.
Then the story goes on with a lot of very enjoyable moments like Okabe speaking English then getting caught, epic quarrels of him and Kurisu, daga otoko da, Kurisu in a maid outfit, a short scene dedicated to Mayuri's cuteness and some scenes showing Daru's pervertedness. But of course there are moments dedicated to the plot like Kurisu having dreams of the other world lines and Okabe seeing Daru's future wife.
And before the OVA ends it left us hanging but it just increases the romance and suspense more ;)
Art: 10~
The art is as usual, top-notch. Even thought there were little improvements, the art really contributed a lot to the enjoyment of the show.
The moe scenes of Moeka, Mayuri and Kurisu were executed perfectly! The background scenery were also drawn nicely. Like the scenery when they were in America, I really felt a change in places and well, it really looked like America.
The simple light effects they showed deserves a special mention.
Sound: 10~
The same OST's from the original series were used so it really adds a lot to the nostalgia attack. The OP song Hacking to the Gate was also present which added even more nostalgia~ I had no problems when it was added as an ED, in fact, I even loved it.
The voice acting, as usual, outstanding. It was clear, crisp and very fitting with the characters so two thumbs up to that.
Character: 10~
The characters were all lovable and felt the same as in the original series. Okabe was at his usual mad scientist self , Mayuri is oozing out moe, Daru is acting at his perverted otaku self, Moeka is still quiet and secretive but also showed a little moe back there and Ruka looking all feminine (daga otoko da).
Kurisu on the other hand, felt a little bit serious (especially during some of her conversations with Okabe) but it was probably because of the dreams she has been having. Despite of that, she was still showing her usual tsundere self.
Enjoyment: 10~~
Without a doubt, I enjoyed this OVA greatly. Every single second was worth waiting for and every single minute was fun as hell. But this much enjoyment left me craving for more Steins;Gate!
Overall: 10~~~
Without hesitation, I gave this a 10. I didn't find a single factor that made me not enjoy this OVA. Everything was perfect in its place. The only flaw I could only think of is the release date of the Steins;Gate movie, IT NEEDS TO BE RELEASED NOW!!!
I easily recommend this to everyone who finished the original series. Anyone who hasn't watched this yet is missing out A LOT.

Had a stressful day? Watched any minf*cking anime lately and wanna cool off? Or you just wanna take a good chuckle and forget your problems? Lucky ☆ Star can do that!
Lucky Star is one of the most unique animes I've seen my whole life. The art is plain and simple, there is no definite storyline, there is really no action, there are just some high school girls talking about their everyday life but that's the good part. This is a slice of life anime that I've never seen before. The characters are just plain examples of moe and without you knowing you're loving them already,
...
without you knowing it you're probably laughing already and without you knowing you've already forgotten your problems... already!
Story: 8~
Some of you may drop the show at its 1st episode because all you see and hear are some high school girls talking about their problems, issues or just random talk that rarely happens in anime, it's similar to a sitcom instead of a straightforward plot you usually see in a typical show. You probably won't be interested in some of them but unlike those American sitcoms, stuff that they talk about in Lucky Star happens in real life! Like have you ever thought of an amusing idea and decide to write it but when you're gonna write it already you suddenly forget it? Have you ever got so tired studying that you wanted to take break by playing a game but you end up having a longer break than actually studying? But what if you can't relate to it? Don't give up! Since Lucky Star is a parody, is has various anime and pop-culture reference I'm sure you might recognize. But I'm gonna be honest, I didn't understand some jokes because I ain't no hardcore otaku :P There are still lots of funny and hilarious scenes that I'm pretty sure you will not be able to contain your laughter.
Art: 9~
Honestly, when I was looking at some images and gif's of Lucky Star I was thinking, wth is this? Are the artists too lazy to draw better? But in the end the art is actually one of the main things that made me come to love this show. If you have noticed, they mostly show just the upper half of the characters body. The static backgrounds are pretty plain as well as the scenery and the characters don't really go in detail. But I'm pretty sure the first adjective you could use to describe them is, cute. You don't really need detailed art for this anime, simply because, this is a parody. You need the viewers to concentrate on what the characters are saying and doing rather than being amazed by how detailed the characters look. I also believed that they were drawn that way because it was suppose to be a joke. Since this was a parody after all. I mean the parts where they show some reference to other animes, the characters there looked well drawn. For example, there was a scene where they show Haruhi, she was drawn so well that it made me think is something wrong with the file I download and they inserted some Haruhi scene?
I gotta say they were animated well ^^ Especially the OP, the characters dancing were just so cuute... HNGGGGGGG.
Sound: 9~
I immediately got captivated by the moe at the OP. The cute characters dancing fit so well with the lively and adorable music made by Aya Hirano and co. The background music also fit well while conversations are on-going and doesn't overpower the voices. There are also some parts where they sing some songs from different animes and even sing some popular Japan music (most of the singing is done by Shiraishi, you'll come to know him in the latter episodes. He's an epic guy I'll tell you).
Character: 10~
Ah, the characters. I want to start off with the blue-haired otaku, Konata. She's one of those people who play video games and read manga all day rather than studying. She crams last minute, she leaves her books at school since she doesn't study at home and surprisingly she's athletic. I see myself in her in many different ways. You might get annoyed by her or come to love her. Up next are the twin sisters Kagami and Tsukasa. Konata views Kagami as a tsundere since she has a ponytail. Kagami takes studying more seriously than her sister and Konata. She also has 2 other friends but I wont go into them in detail. Her sister Tsukasa is probably her complete opposite. She's lazy, forgetful, likes to sleep in, pretty much your regular airhead. Another airhead but a smart one is Miyuki. As I quote from Konata, she's a walking example of moe. She probably has the biggest chest in the show. There toooons of characters that will show up as the anime progresses and I could say they are all well defined.
Just a special mention character, Shiraishi, Minoru. The live one not the animated one (but the animated character is pretty awesome as well ^^). That guy is just epic in so many ways. A big portion of my laughs come from this guy. He'll show up at the latter episodes of the show singin' some parodies of songs. I just cannot express how epic he is.
Enjoyment: 9~
I obviously enjoyed this show quite a lot. From the OP to the next episode preview, I never got bored. I haven't seen a single episode that was painful to watch and this show just brightens my day. But I rated this 9 because there were really just some jokes that I couldn't relate with because I still don't know much about the anime world D:
Overall: 9~
This show is a must watch for everyone. You may hate it, like it or come to love it. This is not a cup of tea for everyone because there are some people who judge the whole anime by its first impression but I gotta say you should stick a little more and I'm certain you'll come to like this show more and more :)
*This is my first review for a TV anime btw*

-May contain spoilers-
Ahhhhh, Toradora! One of the animes that really made an impact on me, and after two years they released an OVA! You may be expecting some after story where Taiga could be pregnant (kinda hard for me to imagine though XD), she and Ryuuji are living in an apartment together or maybe even have kids! But much disappointment to a lot of people, it ain't. It's just another story of their everyday lives which could fit in perfectly if they placed this episode in the series. Some people could've gotten angry even. But I believe that this is a smart decision, to release
...
a normal story than an after story one. There is that risk of instead of loving Toradora! more, the OVA could've shown an ending that we would not want because I believe the ending in the anime is already perfect as it is. So they released an OVA on a normal school story of their lives but still very enjoyable nonetheless.
Story: 9
So the story is about Ryuuji feeling at loss because Yuusaku's grandmother is beating him when it comes to making ben-tos. And so he tries to make better and better ben-tos but forgetting on why do you make ben-tos in the first place and who you make for it.
The story is fairly simple but still funny and comical.
Art: 8~
I don't really see and improvement in the art but still a relief to see the same old Toradora! style. Oh and I gotta mention the Taiga moe scenes are just...... HNGGGGGGGGGGGG
Sound: 9~
Ahhhhh, I had goosebumps when I heard the OP and ED, brings back so much memories ^^ I was not sure but I think the ED had some added content.
Character: 7~
For some reason some characters didn't feel the way they're suppose to feel in the manga and anime. It really wasn't that noticeable but they still had a very similar feel and it was still fun and enjoyable to watch.
Enjoyment: 10~
I'm pretty sure whatever kind of story they show us here, I'm still going to enjoy it because of the feeling of nostalgia of seeing the characters once more in their comic acts. And it was also fun seeing Ryuuji and Taiga once more developing romance and Minori hiding her true feelings at a certain part :3
Overall: 9~
It was fun watching it is all I could say ^^ and it is obviously worth watching, especially to die-hard Toradora! fans :)
