Death Parade is amazingly well written and gives a really cool take on the afterlife and human nature. The art style is very unique and the characters, though a bit cliché at times, are well fleshed out.
Might be a nit-pick but I'm not a big fan of the opening as it breaks the theme of the show's usually more mysterious, cool and grim atmosphere and is instead kind of a cliché, happy, run-of-the-mill opening. Could have been more creative with it.
Overall a unique and interesting story. I thought the main heroine was a bit bland and I didn't find myself being as invested in her

Death Note is 100% a masterpiece and deserves all the hype that it gets.
The characters, plot, and atmosphere is big pp time all around. The plot does deplete a bit after they get a new headquarters about halfway through season 1 but in the greater schemes of things is fucking amazing. The music score is iconic, the editing is great and the characters are some of the most unforgettable characters in fiction in general. The world-building.
One of the things that keeps people from getting into One Piece is the length. The reason it’s that long is because Eiichiro Oda is the master of world-building. Each island the main cast travel to will introduce a new element to the story. However, whether it’s a new character, villain, government or piece of lore, Oda will take as much time as he needs to make sure that you understand before moving on to the next thing.
