Very nice, the first few episodes hooked me. The story is well-written with its coherent sequence of events which are logical - a blend of realism and fantasy. The story may seem boring for some of you hardcore fans because sooner or later it's childish morality will become apparent and evident. Nonetheless, it's great, the characters don't seem too stupid and the twists managed to surprise me. The comedy is also delightful. Kudos to the creators for doing their best in making science more interesting.
Overall, it depends on your first impression. If you liked it at the start then you'll most probably enjoy the whole
...
season.
For the minority complaining about its realism, a message:
Anything too realistic is boring, I hope you'll remember that this isn't a documentary but entertainment. You could flex your 'intelligence' somewhere else.

Rating is based on personal ENJOYMENT. Technical-wise, I think it's 5 or less.
It's a world-building isekai fantasy with an OP MC (that is a walking treasure trove of power-ups and boosts) meant for casual and ecchi readers. Art is average.
The manga is fantasy-driven - not the genre - since its appeal is on fan service and what men presumably like. It’s pretty much a notch below hentai. It's for light and casual readers not looking for anything deep and meaningful nor dark and intense. Especially when it has harem and ecchi. Its end goal is to build a base for the MC to peacefully live
...
in; because him siding with any nation would bring catastrophe. Again, don't look for anything deep and meaningful because you'll only be disappointed at pretty much everything, thus eventually dubbing this as trash after the first few chapters - which I agree(if I had expectations like yours). If you can get past its downsides with laughter(mockery) then it’d be a good pass-time read.
My advice:
If you like peaceful(boring) development that is reasonably paced(debatable). Go ahead.
If you want frequent(frequent) but not overly dramatic fan service. Go ahead.
If you appreciate an OP MC who's not a badass(he's a merciful coward) and who - like all men - fantasizes and does perverted things, and at the same time is stupider(100x) than you. Go ahead.
For the ecchi lover:
Uncensored chapters confirmed though the censored ones are the majority. Lots(lots) of kissing, expect kinks. MC can take chances.
Overall I enjoyed it, it's boring but good enough to pass time.

I'm a sucker for tragedies; I can't deny it. This one had the "you're gonna be sad" vibe at the start - tugged my heartstrings. The pain, the joy, the sorrow, and the beauty of love, portrayed so gracefully. The intricate details of the story and the art are woven just right to make you feel in awe at how seemingly perfect it all fits together. It isn't entertainment, but a culmination of hard work and understanding that stemmed from the desire to portray in the art of film and animation. I only have praise for this, and I may be biased, but who wouldn't
...
be so complimenting if it managed to make them feel so enchanted?
Not everyone can empathize with the emotional rollercoaster of this movie. Only those lucky enough to bask in its colors can feel the revelation of being alive. They may have felt so down, so empty, so happy, so moved, but it all comes down to one thing. Change.
I can vouch that this movie can stay relevant, emotionally inducing, and aesthetically appealing for ages to come. It remains in the hearts of those who've seen it. That, for me, is what a masterpiece truly is.

This anime isn't meant for serious watchers. It's a light novel adaptation so it's for light watching and entertainment purposes only. I wanted to drop this but in the end, I'm glad I didn't. After I got over my initial frustration, I was fascinated by the story. Although it's not over the top, I was constantly thinking, "Damn, this would've looked better in my imagination." If you're planning to watch this, watch thinking that this is just for entertainment purposes. Because the characters are shallow with a tendency to be stupid, the story has chliché scenes with no end goal, the art is poor, the
...
mc is contradicting with his I'm-a-pervert-but-I-don't-take-chances personality, and it can be a snooze fest of "so what now?" moments. So take my advice and go read the light novel instead, because I really meant that this anime could've looked better in my imagination.

Disappointing, could've been great. The cinematic art and the amazing introduction to the characters, partnered with a great delivery of background at the beginning was all it took for me to love the anime. Sadly, all of it slowly degraded to the point where I want a refund for my initial optimism. My first impressions on the characters were overturned by their unexpectedly uninteresting decisions. My expectations for surprising yet delightful events served only to disappoint. So here's a tip to lessen your frustration, expect not romance, but a sort of recovery-story from the past. This show isn't to satisfy me, it's meant to show
...
me. I learned that the hard way. Could've been a 10 in my book if it had a better story and was purely romance. The art is a 10 for me though, it was the saving grace that kept me from being completely and utterly dissatisfied.

Fireworks is a dream-like movie with a fairly abstract delivery. It's biggest aspect is the supernatural, it doesn't lean on the realistic side and instead portray abstract and vivid scenes, hence I dub it dream-like. It's meant for casual viewers looking to pass some time with anime movies. Expect to get bored halfway. The art and sounds were alright and the characters were okay for this type of movie. I honestly lost interest before the climax. My advise for a better experience, open your mind and understand the ending part of this movie, I believe here lies a deep message. That somehow touched me which

Danmachi. By this point, is a Childish Fantasy. If you came here for entertainment then you're good. Otherwise, put this aside because you're gonna be disappointed. The dark aspects of the show is only for appeal and the build-up of suspense. Which is problematic since it seems to be out of place in the story. The reason being that Bell's personality is not the type to solve 'dark' problems the satisfying way(is that even a thing?) thereby relying on pure luck and coincidence to advance the plot. The problem lies in it's drama and theme, which is very confusing at times. Where you're going to
...
be cringing at the same time asking yourself "am I apathetic?". Trust me, you're not, the anime is just being overly dramatic.
My personal message:
Shame on you Danmachi for portraying social issues in an overly dramatic way to the point of sarcasm. It's like your making light of it. Better discard the idea if you're gonna put it in the story this way.
Brief overview --
Story - 5
Predictable outcomes, illogical trigger for certain scenes, this season has basically 2 arcs, the 1st one being finely paced while the second is meh. Confusing theme, somewhat bipolar, is this a serious fantasy or not? Delves deeper to true goal of story a.k.a. final boss.
Art - 7
Still good, kinda got bored when you're used to seeing same character designs. Fight scenes are still cool.
Sound - 7
Yeh same, still good, though the story didn't help much in maximizing the show's sound library
Character - 5
I have reason to believe that the Bell's current party cast from this point onwards will remain the same. Throwing a large portion of my interest out the window. Antagonists still no deeper background, *yawn.
Our MC........Well.....I don't like him. Makes immature decisions, emotions over rationality (common theme for typical anime?). Goal is still vague, I'm not annoyed much anymore compared to the last season. Just remember it's a childish fantasy so you'd get what you expect.
Enjoyment - 6
This time, the comedy is sort of spread through out, though it's not that funny. Art and sound still played a major role in enjoyment since I realized that expecting something more from this anime is useless so it's all entertainment for me now.
Overall - 6
Downgrade from season 1, MC still needs update. Oh and cut the sad parts, its better to add a 3rd arc instead.

Just finished season 1, this review is solely for season 1. Spolier free review.
Danmachi isn't for me. The promising setting of the story amazed me but it ended when they introduced our MC, Bell Cranel-san. His personality just doesn't seem right for the story. Anyways, season 1 is a kick-off to a long series. So you'll get what you expect, introduction to the world and some advertising for you to get hooked on the series. It's good enough for pass-time but not enough to satisfy your hunger for a moving, awesome, reasonably timed(doesn't waste your time) story. Oh and the fight scenes are noice.
Here
...
is a somewhat detailed overview---
Story - 6
Minor arcs, reasonably paced, kinda boring if your not new to fantasy since they use the same tropes and cliché logic. Makes use of the world's quirks. Again, don't expect an ending in season 2, this is like the starting of Fairy Tail or Sword Art Online.
Art - 8
Oh yeah man, if you're not the type who appreciates big oppai for fanservice then you gon' have a bad time. Though they don't push it excessively (maybe I'm just used to it), it's still appealing and not unreasonably big. The character designs are good, has variety, and it's pretty neat. Use of CGI is okay, not that noticeable.
Sound - 7
Good, able to effectively use in certain situations to trigger appropriate emotions from the audience. You won't notice the same sound if you don't consciously notice it yourself and just feel it in the scenes. What I don't like is the drama, the voices that scratch my ear, particularly our MC. Ruins the mood, kills the interest of an already epic scene.
Character - 5
Ehhhh, well it really is mediocre. Backstories are understandable, somewhat heart-wrenching too but it all depends on you. Harem existence confirmed, typical type. Sadly the characters aren't that interesting. You're like, "Oh wow really he's been through that? What's his goal then? What is he planning? Nothing? Oh". Antagonists, not much to know YET bout the big ones but they're seemingly motivated by childish reasons. The numerous characters that pop up out of nowhere are like pokémon, you gotta pick one to like. So don't expect too much depth and complexity.
I would've made a pass on this issue if it weren't for our MC. A child-like personality that is debatable to have, but I would totally be against it. He underwent hardship, loss, and from this a desire to become strong. But he still makes immature decisions with no justifications, give me some logic and not "because he's nice" bullshit. If you're gonna make a perfect character. then make him cool and not annoying like Meliodas. Oh and his goal is VAGUE, at least Naruto concretely wanted to become Hokage, but Bell-san? You could tell me his goal is concrete but I would tell you that's boring as fuck(his goal). Though I appreciate his character development, his personality and goal still needs some fixer-upper to make him acceptable.
Enjoyment - 7
Got this from the art, and background music, the fight scenes are cool, bet you'll appreciate them. Comedy? meh, barely 'hahaha' and more like 'ha', the episode I genuinely smiled and was the funniest was the last episode.
Overall - 7
Feast your eyes on the visuals and stunning fight scenes of Danmachi, venture through it's simple yet amazing world. Together with your not-so-likeable MC, his party with somewhat depth, and his army of fans. Fighting through monsters outside and inside the dungeon, growing and becoming stronger with every minor arc because AGAIN, this anime is made with an intent of creating a long series. And this is just the start.
My final words/ Short Summary:
Danmachi could've been great with a better MC.

RATING IS GIVEN BASED ON HOW MUCH I RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS:
If you're reading this and you haven't watched the anime yet, then boy are you lucky. You get to have a one-way ticket to having-an-ending land where not all your favorite anime can go.
Oregairu was disappointing to be honest, the season 1 hooked me but it all went downhill from there. Scenes were getting too deep too confusing, conversations getting duller and repetitive, comedy becoming lost and disappearing. It was getting serious yeah, but the pacing is just too slow for my time. The anime has a lot of reasons to be hated upon
...
and a lot to be loved. Personally its good enough to satisfy both avid and amateur watchers. It sets a unique atmosphere and creates a mark to remember. I can't guarantee you'll like it, but I can guarantee you'll remember it. And that in itself is good enough reason to try watching it. Plus it has an ending.
Beyond this point is a somewhat detailed overview------
Story - 7
Deep, includes life lessons and a persuasive perspective on society and relationships, presents logical arguments, event a causes event b. My problem: too slow too boring, the rising action segment of this plot is just too long with so many unnecessary challenges to the point where I was already at the resolution when the story's in the climax. Choice of scenes are poor and uninteresting. But don't worry, if your brain is on diffuse mode and you're just there with an intent to watch with no expectations (like me), then you're gonna be alright.
Art - 8
Theme is nice and appropriate in a way that it sets the right mood and atmosphere, character designs are memorable and appealing. Biggest problem was the CGI. I mean bro. My eyes are busy reading the subtitles but that CGI still managed to get my attention, such a turn-off.
Sound - 6
OP song is appropriate , danceable as well LOL. Repeating soundtracks, but still okay. Not much I can critique since it's average.
Character - 7
Believable, understandable, distinct personalities. Here's the lacking part. Prop-like contributions to the story, desire unclear, flaw unclear, conversations are used for info dumping. I don't care bout biases or generic shit if I can be interested and invested in a character's development in the story's WORLD. But no, they all stay the same, like puppets. If you're asking why the score is 7, well that's because it's good enough compared to what I've seen before. For me at least.
Enjoyment - 6
Jokes are funny, relatable, surprisingly witty(some). Strikes when you expect it and strikes when you least expect it. It all went down since Season 1 though, but you'll still get some along the way.
Overall - 7
Oregairu is good everlasting shit. Period.
ALSO I RECOMMEND JUST READING THE LIGHT NOVEL BECAUSE LIKE ANY OTHER ANIME, THE LIGHT NOVEL CAN WASH AWAY YOUR DISLIKES ON THE ANIME SINCE IT HAS MORE DETAILS. THE SCENES DOESNT SEEM OUT OF PLACE TOO. (though I haven't read it, I know we can all agree its most likely true)

I advise shutting your morals when watching this. Its not for people who are conservative and/or have objective perspectives on sexual desires of particularly the male gender.
It's a fantasy, take it however you like. But if you'd like to enjoy the anime, get that "this shit's wrong" vibe in your head, watch, and be yourself. Still not feeling right? Good, then drop this and move on, practice your freedom.
I was satisfied and amazed by how diverse the species are, the episodes as well. The ideas I've seen were hilarious, the main characters were distinct and their chemistry was just right for me.
Took the
...
stress outa my system, no sad crap, no tension, no problem to think about, just the plain high you'd get in living in a fantasy world you appreciate.
