After reading like... 50 lines of reviews, I thought I should probably say what I think of this show because really, I don't see a lot of ppl supporting this show.
Let's start with what the others have said already...
-This anime does not know what it's supposed to be.
Yes, this is true and neither do I know what it' supposed to be. It throws in different genres all the time like ecchi, action, psychological stuff blah blah blah. Oh yeah, let's not forget about the part where it became a cliche eroge for those of you who have watched, for those who haven't watch this yet,
...
go do it. If you don't, don't blame me for not telling you what happened, because I'm too lazy to write a spoiler warning.
-Storyline is mediocre
A group of people who happen to meet by chance and decides to stick together for survival's sake? Not a very unique story if ya ask me.
And I don't remember what other things they said so let's move on to my points
-The show is quite memorable
If ya go check my list of anime, I gave H.O.T.D. a 10/10 despite giving it a 7/10 here on the review page. That's because I rate anime there based on the impressions it left me with. Watched it over a year ago and still remember it to this day when I already forgot shows like Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance.
-It was quite enjoyable
The experience of watching this was quite enjoyable, signs of character development, badass moments, and stuff. This is also part of why this show is quite memorable as I have said before
-Efforts on endings
This really doesn't change much but they have a different ending for EVERY episode. How often do you see that?
Overall, I encourage you to try out this show, it was definitely quite enjoyable for me, and if you're trying to take a break from Slice of Life, comedy shows like New Game, I would definitely recommend this. Also, it wouldn't hurt to try watching this. For those of you who say trying to watch a bad anime is a waste of time, screw you, if you have the time to read this, or even trying to FIND an anime to watch, I don't see why you don't have enough time (I bet you're just lying around doing nothing at night anyway aren't ya).
