This is a humorous and well animated, absurd slice-of-life with some typical, and some unique comedy moments. I don't need to tell you more than that. Humor is subjective, and while I liked it a lot, you might not like it at all. The main aspect I didn't like was the anime's tendency to show its child cast when they are nude with strategically placed objects to hide it. I liked how they handle side characters, the universe feels like it exists beyond what we see the main characters interacting with. Huh why does my review need to be longer?

OVERALL: The anime is a mystery of sorts, with a plot that I found to be very interesting to watch, even if it does leave you confused at times. You need to take a lot of things with a grain of salt, and use the context clues to understand what's going on.
ENJOYMENT: It's pretty fun to watch and try to figure out what is happening, or how things are going to go.
STORY: It's not what I expected to see going into it, but it's nice still. I was surprised a lot, and glad that this didn't devolve into a harem. Although, I still want to
...
see more of this puberty syndrome. It's a concept that they tackle time and time again but never once think hmm, I wonder what emotional event is causing this, choosing to take the "scientific" rout instead
ART: It's downright beautiful at times, and other times its wonky. It's consistent, especially when characters are at odd angles, but not bad enough to ruin the experience
SOUND: Nothing too great. The only thing I liked in the sound track is the ending song on the last episode. Everything else felt pretty standard to me.
CHARACTER: No one goes though any development aside from fixing the one issue they have. It feels like characters are just there sometimes, for no reason at all.

OVERALL: It's a good anime to watch if you don't want something too serious, but has a small element of mystery and emotion, as long as you don't care about the lack of noses too much.
ENJOYMENT: I liked it more than I thought I would. There weren't any moments that felt irritating to watch unlike a ton of anime.
STORY: It's pretty funny with loads of over the top reactions from pretty much everyone other than Hime, the only child we see. The "mystery" caught me so off guard, but I totally welcome it. There is one plot point that becomes important that seemingly spring out
...
of no where and I do wish it was covered more, but oh well. Miscommunication is almost the main theme, and a good chunk of comedy or lore is based on it. If you absolutely hate it when characters don't communicate, then avoid this work.
ART: The characters are simple, too simple at times. The lack of noses does take me out of the scene pretty often. The animation was very intense at times, yet always consistently good.
SOUND: Nothing too crazy other than that dog... that cursed dog... it bumped the score up.
CHARACTER: I absolutely hated the editor guy, he sucks and is nothing but trouble. The majority of the cast is completely forgettable with no distinctive personality other than "works with a manga artist" going for them.

OVERALL: 7/10. This anime is a light-hearted, fun watch. I enjoyed it, but it does leave me wanting more out of it.
ENJOYMENT:8/10. Honestly, it's still a fun anime to watch, I kept playing episode after episode one after the other wanting more. Even with all the critiques, its fun and I'd recommend giving it a watch.
STORY: 7/10. The story is cute. It's not deep or dark, just a few teens becoming friends because of their shared experiences. There barely is a story.
ART:6/10. The art is fine, but not too outstanding. The setting and animation are both okay. The "special" characters also don't look too crazy.
...
Not bad, just normal. The art style is the type you would learn to draw in an anime 101 class.
SOUND:7/10. The "supernatural" characters are mute, accompanied by sound-effects for every action. It's funny at times, and dull at other times. Otherwise, the sound is completely average.
CHARACTER: 7/10. I really liked the main character. Sora's attitude towards all what's going on is positive and encouraging. The others were fine, but didn't stand out to me all that much. Mii is the best and the cutest and you can fight me on that.

OVERALL: 3/10. This is a steep drop from season 1, and that's saying something. Nothing makes sense anymore, and not in the fun "chaotic" sort of way. The pacing is awful and there is no sort of conclusion to say it's worth it.
STORY:3/10. Weak. Vey weak. The writers realized that there wasn't an active villain so they thought of the single most random guy to make into the "big bad guy" and it doesn't work. The pacing is awful, every encounter is actually 3-6 fights in a row where the "heroes" think they win only to be siked out. The small plot surrounding Jyugo is
...
almost non- existent, so it's like not a thing of importance in relation to what's actually going on. Honestly it could have been really cool to see how this season's concept could have played out... but we got this instead.
ART:6/10. This season has a drop in quality compared to season 1 in terms of animation and background. Most backgrounds are the exact same for hours on end with nothing changing thanks to the setting. The characters spend very long just.. standing there... not doing anything until they're called on something like pokemon waiting in their pokeballs while their trainer is getting mugged.
SOUND:3/10. mediocre. random sound effects that have no reason to be there. No music or score or track was used well. The characters grunt and moan for longer than they should. It's awkward.
CHARACTER:4/10. It seems like the writers found the cast to be too big, so they only work with a handful of characters at a time. Some of the main cast have such little screen time for no good reason right from the first few episodes. The pacing has it so that you focus on 1 group for far too long, making their weaknesses shine through for longer periods without anyone to rescue them from it.
ENJOYMENT:2/10. YUCK! A bad season that did literally nothing for anyone. It was annoying to watch because of the missing characters, the awful pacing and the plot that isn't engaging.

OVERALL: 4/10. Nothing too special. It\s a random one-shot that doesn't cover any new content, but just goes over the plot of season 1... as a high school AU
STORY:3/10. it's just the 1st season of the anime if it took place in a school of delinquents rather than a prison, focusing on "Seitarou Tanabata" (who I only recognize as the cyan haired childish guard and needed to look up his name) making it weaker than the original story.
ART: 7/10. Same art style and animation as the main anime. Animation is pretty good for a show this bad. Characters still look like a child's first OC,
...
but you grow immune to it.
SOUND: 5/10. Again, nothing too good, nor too bad.
CHARACTER: 4/10. The same 1 dimensional characters we know from season 1, this time in a school setting... wow!
ENJOYMENT:4/10. Not fun, more of a confusing chore since Chrunchyroll placed this right after the end of season 2, making me think was the finally or the start of season 3. I ended up skipping through since you'd already know all what's going on from season 1... ugh

OVERALL: 7/10. It's a classic anime. Surprisingly not too outdated, pleasant to watch even if you're like me and you aren't into romance.
STORY: 7/10. I liked it because of it's simplicity. It doesn't try to be something it's not, just a simple fun little anime about a less well off person merging with the clueless rich. The "gender confusion" is simple and fun to watch still.
ART: 7/10. It's a little outdated by the time I'm writing this, but still pretty none-the-less. It's nothing too complex and the animation isn't too fluid, but it somehow works into the anime's favor. It's not a serious anime, and
...
the art style shows that.
SOUND: 5/10. The theme song is iconic, but still skippable. I don't recall any of the music or sound effects being too interesting or remarkable.
CHARACTER:8/10. The score is boosted up by Haruhi's entire existence. I love them more than anything. Most characters are typical, with somewhat predictable "twists" that might have made them cool back in the day, but are pretty normal nowadays.
ENJOYMENT: 9/10. VERY fun to watch. It's a great anime to watch when you want something light-hearted that doesn't take anything too seriously.

This anime had so much potential, but ended up falling flat as nothing goes anywhere during the "plot", but isn't funny enough to carry itself with it's lackluster comedy
STORY: 5/10. Had a lot of potential, but not enough action. I though the plot would focus more on how these characters ended up in jail, their crimes or motives, or anything really, but it doesn't, choosing to leave watchers hanging by a thread.
ART: 7/10. Surprisingly good, but could be a bit much at times. Each of the characters is unique... but everyone is too unique all the time, not to mention all the glitter
...
in every single frame. It kind of hurts to look at. The backgrounds aren't too interesting at all, and the animation is relatively smooth.
SOUND: 5/10. Nothing special or even memorable, but nothing atrocious either.
CHARACTER: 4/10. It hurts just how little these characters have going for them. Other than the main-est character, they could all be interchanged with very little effect on the story. It doesn't help that main and side characters aren't too different.
ENJOYMENT:5/10. Its an anime I watched because I thought it was interesting, but it eventually became more and more lackluster as the episodes dragged on. I only finished it in the hopes of seeing the cool plot go somewhere, but it didn't.
OVERALL:5/10. Nothing kept me watching aside from my own completionist desires.
