Infinite Wedding is an adaptation of apparently the last few updated chapters of the light novel.
The music, openings, etc. are really, really enjoyable;the chorus and instruments fit so well together.
The biggest problem I have and I think many other fans of this series has is the character development and latter.
These characters are created greatly, Houki, Charlotte, Laura etc. All of these heroine's have essential ground to create lots of story content, but it never, ever happens.
This OVA is cute, it has great music, and I've always personally loved the art, and animation that Infinite Stratos has offered.
If you took nothing from this review, just know
...
this. You will get lots of squabble and no progression in this adaptation.
I still await patiently for Izuru to write more exciting plot rather then changing the personality of every character every time something is released. This series has so much potential, but yet I still find the potential in FanFiction more then the original work.
This OVA is available through the blu-ray special edition. You can find it online, but you'd have to traverse forums. I'd just buy it;if you really want the official squabble.
Final Verdict - Fantastic music, good animation, it is overall very cute/funny. Other then that, it is bland, it has squabble and no plot, makes itself out to be cannon fodder for merchandise.
I'll stick with fan works. ;)

I wouldn't have such a fuss or low score on this show if it wasn't so rushed, and completely bland compared to the manga.
This show can be enjoyed a lot more if you haven't read the manga, and you will quickly understand why I give it a low score if you read the manga after you watch the show.
This was a very rushed show, and I really do think it could have been a whole bunch better if they stuck to the manga and had a season for season series.
The music is something you don't pay much attention to, because of the cliffhanger each episode
...
has. You find yourself doing whatever you can to get to the next episode because of the way its designed.
This is a gory anime, and considering how tragic the storyline is, you can't expect it to be bright and shiny, peaceful etc. If you've watched Future Diary/Mirai Nikki, its a lot like that show in ways of art, decapitation animations etc. If you haven't, there are deaths in the show, but it doesn't really play into any realm of censorship, considering its just an animation.
If you really want to enjoy this series, read the manga first, then watch the anime. You will most definitely find yourself ripping it apart.

Pokemon: Origins is something to watch if you have dire nostalgia for the older games, and the Kanto region itself. While this adaptation is more of a love letter to Pokemon Red, Blue, and the Kanto region, there is some enjoyment to be had.
If you are expecting the full story, everything included, all the events in the game etc, it isn't going to happen. There are major fillers, but the episodes revolve around some of the more major events, that happen in the games themselves. Brock's battle, Lavender Town, Silph Co., and The Indigo Plateau.
This show was more of a giant nostalgia train for
...
me, and I think thats what it was geared towards, especially the soundtrack, which consists of orchestrated versions of some of the games signature music.
This show was also fuel for the mega evolutions in Pokemon X and Y. Nowhere in Kanto or in the red and blue games were mega evolution stones, but, hey, they need to insert their story somewhere to have it make sense. Even if you just scrolled down the page and clicked read more, just to see my final verdict...
You should give it a try, see if you like it. You will either love it, or hate it. This show is best watched when you've played Blue or Red yourself.

The Story:
There has been a recent notification that a murderer is killing Boutei, a term for students of the Boutei Academy, who solve crimes or are trained in weaponry to solve problems. The story unfolds more in action sequences then anything, basically, this character is introduced, then another is, wow, they have a beef with their individual families, etc. The story is pretty exciting! Without spoiling, I will say you will enjoy it as certain weapons are introduced etc.
The Art - is very different from what you would call "generic" anime, the characters are drawn differently, in a more seasonal way, and the action
...
scenes just fit well with it. While the shadowed drawn parts may TRY to make the character seem sinister, it just comes off as cute to me with how its drawn. Its definitely fascinating to compare Hidan No Aria to other anime such as Clannad, or Kokoro Connect.
The music really didn't do much for me, besides the opening, which had chanting. Chanting really does it for me in music, its amazing once theres chanting in there...but, the opening music for this show reminds me more of a roman-like setting when its really in a setting for boutei and action.
The characters become lovable overtime, and so does the main protagonist. I will say, anybody can like these characters and their banter between one another. As situations get worse you find yourself asking, I wonder how this character is going to react etc.
I enjoyed this anime alot. I enjoyed it more when I watched it, and then went to read the manga. The only problem I had was the overall pace. Things go by a little slow, especially if something big is revealed, the characters don't act on it as they are presented they would be.
I highly recommend giving this anime a watch, and if you liked it, read the manga. It has just the correct amount of comedy and action for my enjoyment, I hope it does for you too!

THE STORY: 5
If you are wanting a show where plot continues, and characters develop , you aren't going to get it with Infinite Stratos. The plot is very simple. There was a mecha suit designed by a "mad scientist", Tabane Shinonono, and only women could pilot it, men could not. Until, Ichika Orimura, gets the ability to pilot one, thus he is sent to an all girls academy. A few more characters are introduced in season two, but they don't really do much but mention plot. Sure, Ichika has a sister, another sister, somebody tries to kill him, do we get explanation to that at
...
all? Nope. As you watch on you will see this as it goes, a bunch of story arcs get introduced, but then they just vanish. This is why things like FanFiction and doujshinshi come in. There are so many failed plotlines in this show that I'm sure fourty percent of the people watching I.S don't like it, and feel like its shit because of its story, then the other ten percent watch it just for echii, and the rest watch it because they like it. I've talked with so many people over on fanfiction, and what I get alot: I.S is great! I like to expand my own story upon it since it doesn't have such a big one to begin with! Do you see where I am going with the story? The very fact that its loathing in development, is all the more merrier for fans to expand upon it.
THE ART:7
I really do enjoy the art when it comes to the Infinite Stratos. For me, it kind of seems like a mix between Power Armor and Stormtrooper gear. I think the I.S looks cool, but thats my own opinion. As far as the animation goes, again, I love it. The fights are action packed, they deliver what you'd expect from 8bit studios.
THE SOUND(MUSIC): 10
I will say I love the music. The instrumentals for the moments of romance, to the music and openings, you won't be disappointed. In fact, I highly recommend you head over to a place like Sound Cloud and listen to one of the piano tracks, or opening theme. It reminds me of Angel Beats.
CHARACTERS: 6
Going back to what I said about the story, the characters, they aren't as cliché as you may think, but some progress a lot more then others, but they shouldn't considering others get introduced earlier, and it basically just goes all over the place. One of the main characters or heroine, Houki, basically changed herself completely through another season! Overall, the characters are enjoyable, but I don't see becoming attached to one, unlike lots of others. The characters are where comedy comes in, heavy-set.
ENJOYMENT: 9
I really enjoyed this anime. It had great music, opening soundtracks I downloaded as many of my friends did, and the characters were laughable and it had all the...Echhi too. If you enjoy a series of plots that don't lead anywhere, but you like to create and expand your own, you will enjoy this even more then just the romantic comedy.
OVERALL: 9
I like this anime. It has a great setting, but it leads to so many different places, but then it stops. Thats the biggest problem! Considering FanFiction.net and Archive of Our Own still seek to keep the fanbase for this work alive, the more serious works there are way better when it comes to story. I highly suggest giving this show a watch, but as I mentioned above if you are looking to get into an anime as to where you LOVE the characters, sort of like watching Clannad, or Akame Ga Kill(two series in which the fans are intended to get emotionally attached), I don't suggest you watch it. This anime is great when you want to wind down, and watch a funny, romantic comedy. Or if you want to expand your own ideas, this show certainly has the setting to start you off.
