Hello! I'm a half-French, half-Japanese guy who loves anime. I began watching anime during my childhood, starting with the films of Studio Ghibli, and really dove into anime series in 2022. My first classic Shonen was Hunter x Hunter, and my first Seinen was Parasyte.
I used to focus solely on math, physics, and other sciences. However, in 2023, I discovered Violet Evergarden, which changed my life. I can't quite explain how, but to keep it simple, this masterpiece introduced me to emotions, art, and human beauty in a way I had never experienced before.
These days, I’m also exploring philosophy, literature, and more.
I often analyze anime, from the smallest details to the overarching plot, finding in some pieces poetry, and in others, philosophical questions that deepen my understanding of the world.
Otherwise, I love mecha anime such as Evangelion, as well as avant-garde anime like Evangelion (yes, it deserves a mention twice). The complexity and depth of these works captivate me.
I'm a big fan of Kyoto Animation, with Violet Evergarden obviously at the top, but I also deeply appreciate works like Clannad, Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice), Suzumiya Haruhi, and K-On. KyoAni’s ability to bring out emotion through animation is something that really resonates with me.
I used to watch Isekai and rom-com anime, but I no longer do, except on very rare occasions. Instead, I’m more focused on anime films, which I continue to watch a lot.
One thing about me: I’m not into long anime like Naruto or One Piece. If you're into unknown or underrated anime, or deep, thought-provoking ones, you should definitely check out my list.

I watch anime of all genres except Rx anime, and I place great value on reflection, story, and emotional depth. I particularly love finding hidden gems and while I’m not a fan of fan service, I tolerate it.
One unique thing about my list: I’ve given a 10/10 only to Violet Evergarden and its related works. You might find it strange, but I like to use this rating to create a stark contrast between this piece of art and other anime.
