I’m completely caught up with the manga. If you want overall view on the entire story so far, you’ve come to the right place. I won’t explain the story as you could just read the first chapter or synopsis for that, but I’ll give y’all a summary of the entire manga so far, all 96 chapters in total. So in summary, the story is a trashy revenge story with super unrealistic villains, even for a manga, and one of the only reasons I still continue to read is because of the art.
The goods:
When it comes down to praise, I don’t have much, but there
...
is some. The art of course is the biggest one. The expressions, line art, flow of motion, tones, everything is stunning. You can find some absolutely beautiful panels in here. At the same time with how brutal the story can be, the art just makes those scenes better. Some of the most brutal moments wouldn’t have been as effective without the art.
And, the whole revenge kill fight kill is both very satisfying and entertaining. It’s awesome to see some assholes get absolutely recked. Especially this one guy who got his face caved in with a brick, magnificent moment, he deserved every second of it.
With this whole revenge story, it surprisingly gives a good amount of knowledge on torture and killing. And, it’s good to see a story incapsulate what it means to take revenge. We see others get wrapped up into the shit the main character gets into, as this would naturally happen. And, just the fact that he has to think about others while also trying to murder people is an interesting story to witness as he has his killer life and real life to think about. It’s an interesting concept and story sadly dragged by the shit story.
Bads:
Where the fuck do I begin? Our MV(main villain) is just some unrealistic psychopathic kid who influences a group of other kids to be psycho’s as well, turning them into his followers some how. Hey kids can be ass holes, but they don’t just casually butt fuck some other kid in the ass and are fine with being pushed in front of a car. Oh wait, I should talk about that too. The MC’s (Main character) family was driving in a car, our MV decided to push one of his little shit stain followers in front of the car. Plus, he had to roll down a hill, leaving him with some injuries. And, he even witnesses the MV caving in the MC’s little brothers head with a rock. Sure he was shocked, but he later on he never thought anything of it. He just kept of following the MV despite seeing this shit happen. You got pushed in-front of a car man! Who doesn’t think about, “Maybe this isn’t such a good idea anymore?” It’s all super unrealistic. Even how later the MV managed to form a cult of new assholes. There was even a moment where a member of this cult was water boarded for like a hour or something, in the beginning he hated it but at the end he had the biggest grin on his face yelling, “the revolution is complete! The revolution is complete!” Was there a drug in that water? Who the fuck acts like this?! Shit don’t make any sense. I don’t even understand how this one stupid girl got into so many bad situations despite there being an obvious red flag. And here’s another thing. The MC’s little brother survived the car accident and head beating I mentioned, but was in a coma for years. Eventually he woke up and was captured by the MV. And, one of the little brothers legs were cut off. He lost his sense of pain apparently so he didn’t feel shit. But even then, he was like “Oh. My legs gone.” I know you might not be ok in the head, but who the fuck is like, “well shucks.” Anyone, especially a kid would be flabbergasted and panic like, “holy shit wtf.” And, why didn’t the kid panic when he saw the MV? The kid lost his memories of the accident, but simply seeing a car putted him in a panic. Why wouldn’t he remember the face of the piece of shit who beat his head in? The rest of the manga is just boring, boring enough for me to skip some important dialogue. You could just skim through this manga and still understand what’s happening.
Overall, the manga’s story is absolutely shit, the art’s amazing, but I still wouldn’t recommend this manga. Unless it hits your guilty pleasure spot just right.
