Both of these shows are high school dramas which swing from comedy to blood shed. Also they can both get away with killing all of the main characters but not have them actually die.

If you liked Ouran Koukou Host Club add

...then you might like Angel Beats! add

Both of these show have a similar type of comedy. They are both mainly character driven, with characters that are either stereotypes or brake the stereotype. While Angel beats is on the heaver side, there are episodes of both shows where it is just fun being with the characters.

If you liked Witch Hunter Robin add

...then you might like Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro add

These are both episodic fantasy/mystery. However Neuro is more comedic while Witch Hunter Robin has a darker feel.

...then you might like Mirai Nikki (TV) add

Creepy pink haired girls saying "Yuki" They are also both horror/mystery anime with good stories

If you liked Denpa-teki na Kanojo add

Both of these anime are dark mysteries with gruesome deaths involving high school students.

...then you might like Psycho-Pass add

The worlds of Psycho-Pass and Steins;Gate are both science fiction worlds which each seems relatively realistic. They are also more serious with little or no comedy and have very good character development

If you liked Kuroshitsuji add

...then you might like Steins;Gate add

The stories of Kuroshitsuji and Steins; Gate have nothing in common, but the way there stories are executed are similar. They are both on the darker side and have unique and interesting characters also the plots of both of the stories are intriguing and keep you wanting to know more. Over all they are both good anime that have a sci-fi/ fantasy bent to them.

While Death Note does not include the science fiction elements Ghost in the Shell does and Ghost in the Shell does not have the one on one revelry of Death Note, they both deal with tough ethical dilemmas. In addition both of their stories have moments and ideas that are interesting and inventive. Both of them make you think and are full of brilliant ideas.
