Predictable, foreshadowing and very, very forced. But I can't help but keep watching until the very end to see what happens... Maybe it's just me, but I do kind of like these kind of "forbidden love" stories. It's not that in this particular movie it's forbidden or something, but it's the same principle about a guy that shuns everything and everyone. Somebody who prefers to be alone and thinks he could never be close. But then there's a person, like a girl that tries everything to make him open up. Push and pull, pry until he says more and more about his life and starts

Fans all over the world gathered to bring this piece of art to life. I was one of them! We have waited for a year for this to be released, and man...it was worth the wait. For me it really was. I started reading this manga a few years ago and I consider it my all time favorite, so I had big hopes for this movie.
As for my review, first off however, people who are familiar with the mangas might feel a little empty after watching it at first; the plot is gradually changed, however the very essence you feel between Shiva and Sensei(what the ... Mar 20, 2021

I really enjoyed watching this. It's pretty rare for me personally to want to watch one episode after another...like, wanting to know what happens next.
Dont really get that much with nowadays shonen and such. I did really enjoy the Goblin Slayer character... at first he's very much stone cold, no personality. Mindless, soulless... its even scary and lugubrious at times. And all for a reason which does really justify it. But he slowly grows more friendly towards the people that help him. They actually become friends. And despite everyone thinks he's just weird and cold, they see him for what he really is and what he can ... Nov 19, 2020

So basically, I kinda grew up with anime watching naruto. So don't get me wrong, I loved to feel all nostalgic again by hopping back watching Naruto-related content. Good times, feels flowed back.
However...I did not quite enjoy it as much as I hoped. Boruto is still a fun watch, but it's not too amazing in my opinion. Mostly with the reason because there is so much potential, and the idea was really great...just the execution not so. Like the build up a lot of times I really liked was great, but then eventually when you're there...it's just an anticlimax or something. I don't really 'feel' the ... Nov 19, 2020

God this season was great. I LOVED the Overhaul arc, the characters are so interesting. This anime is really good, but I thought season 3 was a little...lacking. Season 1 was my favorite still. But dang, the Overhaul arc got me right back into the story again. If you think the same, that Season 3 got you put back a little, don't stop there...keep going, you'll not regret it!
Perhaps its the theme of Overhaul, plague doctor-esq, birds...but there's something ominous about them that I enjoyed. Either way, there's good character developement again and It really sticked to me and I could not stop watching. Nov 18, 2020

Absolutely my favorite Anime of all time. Even if it doesn't explode with many lights and is energetic as most shonen-type anime which are currently popular, this anime has a very rich story and beautiful arstyle that just does it.
The same for the manga: I just love these 'forbidden love' stories. Love that should not be, but against odds it's there. A creature horrific and shunned, but touched by a smaller, often more fragile soul. However in this story the specific 'creature' is very powerful and also respected at some parts. But still, he is the thorn mage, still somewhat belittled and unholy in other eyes. ... Nov 5, 2020

My favorite Manga of ALL time. Absolutely. I've read a lot, but nothing surpasses this for me.
I just love the general concept of 'forbidden love'. In a sense that a dark or evil creature, horrific and shunned, somehow against odds is touched by a smaller and often more fragile soul. Nagabe's mind is brilliant how he portrays these 'forbidden love' stories in his other books too. I genuinly enjoy reading all of them. Even if the concept itself is used dosens of times, the way Nagabe approaches it is unique. For me, these stories surpass any of the other more popular Shonen. And yet ... Nov 5, 2020
I usually don't watch older anime, but people recommended me this so much that I had to go for it. It started off slow and thought that I wouldn't keep up, but...my god. From episode to episode, it was amazing.
In a very long time once more, I could not stop watching. Usually I take a break and watch next ep in the evening or so but...I just could NOT stop. I NEEDED to know what would happen. The story just hits hard...and I think despite the anime being older or so, I think I enjoyed it way more than modern popular Shonen even. Because ... Nov 5, 2020

I'd say this is my favorite manga of all time, but there's one other just about like this that suprasses it for me. I'll explain later.
I just love these 'forbidden love' stories. A really good movie with decent story and characters. With Your Name also being from the same makers, I found that one a bit more interesting. They both have a huge plot involving something that has to do with our universe and 'bending' it. Previous one involving around time, and this one around weather. I know both have nothing to do with each other in particular though.
I think Weathering With You is an amazing concept again, but the execution wasn't as great? It's not perfect, but still very much enjoyed watching this. The art is just awesome and so is the music and sound. I love ... |
