I went into this anime expecting piles of panties and rivers of tits, and never have I been so disappointed. Expecting nothing but a tilted table for 24 minutes per week, I found myself knee deep in plot, character development, and feels.
This show is actually so good that the fanservice is starting to become an annoyance. Azur Lane doesn't need fanservice. It's better than that, but at least there's far less of it than I expected.
