Warning: Please Twins is a direct spin off of Please Teacher. Some events in Please Teacher are mentioned in Please Twins. If plan to watch this show or read this review watch Please Teacher followed by Please Twins.
Note: for the sake of time and since I’m using MS word for this review I will refer to Maiku Kamishiro (the male lead) as Mike, since he referred to that name in the series many times. Also there is synopsis; sorry I really tried to write the review without it.
Story-
This story takes place in the quiet town as before only the focus
...
is only a different kind of romance. The male lead name is Mike Kamishiro, a boy whose mother abandoned him and was sent to an orphanage. The only clue to his past was a picture of him and girl who is supposedly is sister in a pool with a blue house in the background. He is now living there allow as student and part time programmer. Soon two girls arrive, both claiming to be his twin sister. The only proof is that they have same unusually colored eyes as him, and both are in possession of that same picture. A deal is soon made; they both can stay until they know for sure who the sister is and who is not. As time goes by both the girls start to develop feelings for Mike and vice versa. This story tells how they go about dealing with those feelings knowing that one or both of the girls can either be his sister or a complete stranger. This leads to a series of funny adventures and lots of misunderstandings between the three.
However, I feel that the main story arc did get stretched out more than I would have liked. It pretty much takes the entire series to determine who the twin is. After that their relationships don’t really change that much than in the beginning. I would have like to have seen more of what would have happened if the discovery was made sooner and the other girl had more time to pursue Mike.
Note: As far as echhi content is concerned, Please Twins delivers where others (like Love Hina and Please Teacher) seem to have failed.
Sound/Art- As far this category goes the animation is good. I was able to view this from a good streaming source so the quality was better than that of Mega Upload (stay away from this source). The series uses the same opening soundtrack as Please Teacher which was okay. The other music in my opinion seemed to fit well with the situations. The voice actors from the original series reprised their roles, if they were allowed lines.
Characters-
The two female leads in this series are polar opposites. Karen is a shy, reserved and polite girl, versus Miina who is more energetic and outgoing. These characters do play well off each other as they compete for Mike’s attention. I found myself constantly guessing if anyone these girls could be his sister.
This anime has some of the characters from Please Teacher as supporting characters. Some make appearances in almost every episode, some with a line or two, while others only make small cameo appearances. The only two who have any real roles or involvement in plot development are Ms. Kazami and Ichigo.
They do however change the betrayal of two of the Please teacher characters, but I’ll let you watch and see which two those were.
Overall -
Overall I give this series a solid 8, it had some flaws but overall it was a good watch. Between Teacher and Twins, I did like this one better. I plan on maybe re-watching this series at later date.

Story- The main premise of the story is unique, which was one of the reasons I decided the show to begin with. It may seem a little far-fetched to some, but I enjoyed it. This anime doesn’t waste time in getting to main plot. The main focus of the story is the secret relationship of Kei and Mizuho. They try to maintain a sense of normality in their lives despite the unusual and “unique” situation that they find themselves in. Also we find main character struggling with a condition he calls “stand-stills” (not in the synopsis above) and how he learns to deal
...
with it.
I can’t honestly say how much of this series or if any episode can be considered “filler” episodes, I found each one entertaining and important as the last.
There is a few other romance sub-plots included, which arrive around midway through the series and continue throughout. These don’t really play a major role, but I found them to okay.
This show does contain elements of sci-fi in it; however it doesn’t play center stage in the series. It does however create issues for our main characters.
Ecchi content is present in this series, but for some reason seemed a little low. There were plenty of opportunities in almost every episode, yet for some reason they did not take advantage. All we received in return were some shower scenes mixed in with a few odd poses and awkward situations. However I will caution you that this show does contain adult content and some suggestive dialogue, so this isn’t for younger viewers.
Warning: Some events in this series are mentioned in the spin-off, Please Twins, which takes place about 6 months to 1 year later.
Sound/Art-
I can’t really say that this area was a major deciding factor in my overall score. I thought animation was fairly decent and the dubbing good as well. However there was some censorship in the series although I don’t understand why they would put in to begin with.
Characters- This anime takes time to develop certain characters as well as giving some background information for a select few. They also give characters depth which helped in this category. The one thing did enjoy is that the characters weren’t just there; they actually had them play roles in the development of the storyline. They betrayed Kei as bit of spineless wimp. This is enforced when constantly throughout the series.
Overall -
Overall I give this series a solid 7, it has its flaws but overall it was a good watch. However it comes up short in some areas. This series is definitely worth checking out at least once despite its premise. I would recommend watching this series first if you are planning to watch Please Twins at a later date.
Warning: Please Teacher is a parent story to a spin-off, Please Twins. Some events that take place in the in the first series, will be mentioned in the second. Watch Please Teacher before Please Twins.

Please be kind this is my first review so bear with me they will get better.
WARNING: This review may contain SPOILERS.
Story-
This is a harem themed anime so let’s set the scene, 1 boy and 5 girls in all girls dormitory. Add some romance, comedy, and a little ecchi and you have Love Hina. This series as its highs and lows (trying to be objective) throughout. While managing the Inn and studying for his exams he ends up in every having a series of misadventures. The main focus of the story is Keitaro and Naru trying to get into Tokyo
...
U, and the developing relationship between the two. As it turns out, wait, I’ll let you find that part out on your own. There are a few other romance sub-plots as well as some filler episodes mixed with in the main plot, but I really felt that they didn’t hurt the series in my opinion.
Low areas arrive in the form of “fanservice”. Ecchi content is way low in this series. There are bath scenes in almost every episode, yet for some reason they bathe in towels. Why you ask? They wanted to make an ecchi series without ecchi. Either put it in, or keep it out.
Viewer alert:
“Love Hina” is not the end, and does not wrap up the series in a tight bow. The reason for this is a bonus 25th episode, as well as a Christmas and Spring special. You have to watch these before watching “Love Hina Again” to get the full story. Before that you need to watch the specials in the following order of airing date which is as follows:
Bonus 25th episode : Motoko's Choice, Love or the Sword - Don't Cry
LH Christmas special
LH Spring special
Any anime streaming site should have these. If you can’t find it pm me for one that does, or try your luck with Netflix. Quality is okay, but is better than not getting the full story.
Sound/Art: I condensed this category because this is my first review I don't really want to scrutinize every little detail in these areas for now. I will say that I thought that the dubbing for this series was great. The music for each scene went well the events occurring and the story flow very well.
Characters- This anime has delightful and colorful characters all around. They all have different stories and backgrounds as well as personalities. The series does take time to give the viewer sort of a background of each character and their past. This is done in the form of filler episodes or flashbacks. Also you notice slow changes in some characters as the story progresses.
Overall - I finished this anime recently I must I was completely amazed. I not really into romance anime and this was my first one. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this series and all the specials that came along with it. As a result I plan on reading the manga in the future.
Overall I give this series a solid 10, it has its flaws but overall it was a good watch.
