I saw it and I have to say the characters had a billion internal monologues about something I can't even tell what it was. I get that the girl and the guy were getting to know each other in the beginning, they were still together, and that the separation was hard, but that's about all I took away from it. The middle was kind of interesting, but I didn't understand how the other girl related to the main plot - just that she was in love with a guy who already had someone. I would have preferred the movie to be a movie where the

characters talk to each other instead of internal monologues. When a character was speaking her inner philosophical monologue over and over, I could barely keep track of what was going on. If they had included the classic character chatter, I probably would have built up more of a relationship with them. The ending basically didn't even say if they ended up together - just that their parting caused a sadness and emptiness that can't be undone, which is something I figured. The animation, visuals and music were the only things that pulled it the most. I was expecting some sort of emotional journey, but instead I got a poetic film that could be described as being about characters who have experienced loss, with a lot of internal monologues that rather overwhelmed the film. I don't mind internal monologues in anime, on the contrary I think they belong in anime, but here it really didn't work for me. Perhaps if I had watched with the English dub, I would have enjoyed the visuals more but the film would still have struck me as an essay on grief and loss.

I just had to watch this movie again and it's still incredible what Hayao Miyazaki did, he went beyond all creativity and imagination which definitely gave inspiration to new filmmakers, everyone can take anything away from this movie just how you interpret it, for me this one means we shouldn't be afraid of the unknown which was hard for the main character but then she met someone she found a relationship with, even though it was scary for my younger self sometimes, I still couldn't resist the sheer creativity that knows no boundaries but now I get it Chihiro had to try to make something

of herself and she also shouldn't be afraid of leaving her parents because she met someone she probably had feelings for, The music and animation in this movie is a gem, the story was slow at times but it still kept my attention, Spirited Away will definitely be the best animated movie Hayao Miyazaki ever made and the best anime movie in the world. Nine out of ten for the sake of a relaxing anime may be too much for some, yes it has stereotypical characters that are probably found in older anime, but when the creator has control over the characters and doesn't overdo it with them, giving them positive and negative qualities, you are likely to like the characters for sure, how their relationships shift and how they get into bizarre situations + when you come home tired from work you can relax and not think about anything and just relax, for some it might be a shame that the viewer doesn't get to know exactly how

the main characters relationships turn out at the end but if you think about the ending we all know how things will continue between the characters, so if there is a second series that's a possibility too. Characters 9/10 Story 9/10 Animation 9/10 Overall I rate it 9/10

What can I say, Toradora! is overall a great anime, except for the four episodes in the beginning, where I didn't mind Taiga as an aggressive to cute girl, on the contrary I found her interesting, but the way the series worked with humor, which in the beginning revolved around Taiga hitting Ryuuji about 50 times in one episode, which I found corny and unfunny, as time went on the series started to add more imaginative and completely absurd jokes that I just had to laugh at and for another the series deepened the characters more and I understood why they were acting like that,
...
some people say that Taiga is the exact same character from start to finish and that Ryuuji deserves a much better girlfriend but I just don't agree, Taiga may be willful and aggressive but people completely forget that she also has good qualities that maybe everyone overlooked because I can't explain it any other way, and for another if Taiga just became a nice and cute girl it would take away from her character and for another the viewer would feel that she's not the same character and it would seem weird, I could understand this if she was the main villain, but Taiga isn't the villain, Taiga has become more likeable over time and yet her character remains, I appreciate that this show develops the side characters who are very nice but I have to say that the two main characters drag the show the most, but I admit that it perfectly shows how young people can behave when they are in love, they make crazy decisions. After a long research I finally found an anime that finally somehow entertains me, interesting concept which is simple but at least it is a fun and original anime in which there are well written jokes which I have never seen in any anime yet, with most anime I had several reasons why I somehow do not enjoy but here is everything I have all this time wanted from anime and that is well written characters which are very likable as well as funny, What surprised me a lot was how right in the first episode I was moved at the end, which is the

first anime that could make me cry and it works because I liked the characters right away and it's also because we can see how the characters develop a good relationship and not like the anime Demon Slayer which tries to evoke strong emotions right at the beginning during the fifth minute in which I still didn't like the characters and there was no development in terms of a good relationship between the characters, this kind of thing works well for example in the movie 'Up' in which everything is there and that's development and sympathy now back to this anime, what else is great here are the action scenes which are really action packed in which case something happens in every episode although I haven't seen all the episodes yet and there's even a second series yet to be made so it's possible that my rating will go up but who knows, This is the first anime so far that has really impressed me in all aspects because in some anime I didn't see much of a hint in terms of jokes or I just didn't enjoy it but here you can see how every joke was taken care of, however when an anime tries to do that it ends up having a few sex jokes that aren't used properly and could have been done much better, What I find is that the humor balances pretty well in terms of serious scenes, which has never happened in any anime yet, and I don't know what to say anymore, it has a nice style and great animation especially in the action sequences, although yes in some moments it takes a long time for some action to happen, but still something interesting is happening with the main characters, so we don't see any long conversations that don't get boring and that's a big plus, this anime may seem like a cute affair, but it hides so much more than meets the eye, even though it's a fake family so their love is real and that's what's most interesting about this anime, even though they are very different, they still have one thing in common, they want to stay together, but what I should also mention is the music which is absolutely amazing, I like how they combined jazz music into the spy atmosphere, the music reminded me a bit of The Incredibles, a movie that is also worth checking out. I can understand people who liked Your Lie in April a lot, but I don't like it enough to give it five stars and not consider it the best anime ever, for a few reasons, I don't have a problem with touching movies or series, on the contrary I like them a lot, there were moments when it definitely evoked strong emotions in me and I shed a few tears, but mostly the series itself kept forcing depressing things on me, and the show had to constantly remind me of them, so sometimes I tended to ignore those parts, like for example the main character
...
Kousei Arima who is still traumatized by his mother beating him up and having trouble hearing his music, there were times when I understood the main character's feelings and felt really sorry for him, but as time went on I felt that the show is trying to give the main character one quality and that is that he's a crybaby, which is definitely not his only quality in my opinion, the other thing is the comedy that consists of all the characters wanting to punch the main character, which I found terribly ridiculous, corny and unfunny, which confused me as to why the creator even tries to have a touching moment when he adds a moment where the main character has to get punched anyway, however, as time went on I didn't care anymore, I have to admit that the music was great when they gave the characters inner monologues, it disturbed me a bit during the music concerts where I wanted to listen to the music because as they say, music expresses emotions best, which they probably wanted to save for the finale which was the best, but even though it disturbed me during those passages I somehow got over it and found it interesting, what the character was thinking, but I didn't care about Takeshi's blond rival, it's true that when he was little he was inspired to play the piano because of the main character, but mostly I found him an annoying character who had internal monologues about how he wanted to beat the main character, yet Emi's rival wanted to beat the main character too, but she was definitely the more bearable and interesting character, however Hiroko the professional pianist, Nagi and Kaori were probably the best characters, I adored their chemistry with Kousei Arima and I would say those characters were the biggest draw for me of the whole series, if they weren't there I don't know if I would have even finished watching it as far as Tsubaki is concerned, although I understood her motivation where she is concerned, that she can't be with Kousei Arima aka her childhood friend, it kind of bothered me that instead of telling her thoughts directly to the main character she instead speaks vaguely and then wonders if his childhood friend doesn't understand, I understand that the creator was trying to point out that she probably can't be honest but I have to say it frustrated me a bit, as for the animation I have nothing to complain about, the movements when playing the musical instruments are great and the locations have great details, but that's the way it is with any anime, this anime probably won't be for everyone, it's true that I listed a few negative things at the beginning, but putting them aside, it's actually a pretty good anime about learning about yourself, overcoming obstacles and sometimes even a short moment with a loved one can have a deep and lasting impact on your life.
