It'd be a good opportunity to get back into it again.
I also liked Inception, I haven't watched Mulan since my childhood days and I have never been into superhero films, so I've never tried watching Batman.
Of course, there's artistry and good things in pretty much any media and everything is worth trying, if you have enough time.
On the top of my head, one annoying thing is the ridiculous amount of almost identical anime that are coming out, mostly isekai in the recent years. Unfortunately, it feels like there is no passion to the creating of their anime adaptations, and the authors of the novels are probably just trying to recreate something that once had huge success, without trying to make something that's truly their own.
Another thing is that the same tropes, usually annoying and unrealistic, are used way too often. For example situations in teen romance/harem anime, tsundere characters, etc.
One-dimensional characters, tropes and bad adaptations could as well be a problem for actual films/series, but it's a bit overdone in anime.
What's the genre of the film?
Unfortunately, I haven't been watching movies much ever since I started watching anime almost 10 years ago. So there's nothing I can confidently say that belongs to my favorites. I'd like to start watching and also rewatch a bunch of them someday.

I'm doing fine, mostly following a routine of going to work and coming back home to watch or read something these days. Although it's much less than I used to haha.
