This anime is good yet underrated. Some of the reviews in this anime had rated it low *cough* . Maybe some can't catch up to the story, giving this anime a low rating means you didn't fully understand the story or simply means you didn't see the beauty within this anime.
LET ME GET TO THE POINT: THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ANIME IF YOU'RE INTO PSYCHOLOGICAL AND DETECTIVE ANIME LIKE PSYCHO-PASS.
Here's my rating:
Story: 9/10
If you love anime with crimes that are solved in a unique way, this is highly recommended. Watching episode one got me hooked up and curious, the story itself
...
has many secrets behind a door. In other words, the mystery in this anime plays out very well (It plays on your mind). Also the concept is amazing! Plot twists were portrayed very well and even Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory was portrayed and used SO WELL (the id, unconscious, etc), not gonna lie. The UNIQUENESS of this anime's plot plays on your mind. It's just sad that it has few episodes and I wished that Asukai should be saved.
Art: 9/10
I'll just be honest here, the character designs were so simple YET also unique. The animation has adapted the anime's genre to be a little dark and simplistic. The style of characters were like a little from XXX Holic which has long legs BUT how they design Sakaido, Anaido and Hijirida's brilliant detective clothes were so cute and stylish. I loved Narihisado and Fukuda's character design and not all characters can pull out cool atmosphere with pink and sky blue hair lol. Lastly, how they portrayed the "id well" was very aesthetically dark, beautiful and unique.
Sound: 100000/10
why? one word, MIYAVI. MIYAVI has been my favorite Japanese artist (singer-songwriter, actor and guitarist) ever since his release of "Guard you". The very first reason why I watched this anime is because of MIYAVI, it is the very first time that they used MIYAVI as the theme song performer. Also used Sou's as the opening theme (Both ed and op songs are lit). OSTs are adapted to the scenes perfectly especially when there are sad or depressing scenes like how Momoki promised Asukai, how the past of Narihisago's past was revealed (it was so saaaaad, the 2nd reason why I watched it), thrilling scenes were also great, and many more. THEY NAILED IT.
Character: 9/10
Character portrayals were so amazing, like how Tamotsu Fukuda (tbh I pity him) helped Narihisago and Hondomachi. Narihisago Akihito's character was very COOL (@//////@) and his backstory was very sad for me. Some characters are extras but they all had a nice contribution in the plot. All in all, it was a masterpiece.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Like Psycho-pass, this anime made me love detective genre. This anime was more in deduction or mystery solving unlike psycho-pass with fighting and chasing. Also voice actors nailed it Kenjirou Tsuda (Nicolas from Gangsta) as Narihisago and Ryouta Takeuchi (Ushijima from Haikyuu!!) as Fukuda. I can't tell that this is a masterpiece but it is unique. I really enjoyed it, I was more engulfed in animes with mystery, future or detective stuffs like Sybil system, Mizuhanome system, etc.
Overall: 9/10
It was a great short anime. A must watch, don't let the other reviews block your curiosity about this anime. I gave this 9 'cause it was good and not that disappointing for me. I know that all of us have our own opinions but sometimes we need to try and control our reviews for some of the people who are interested in a certain anime might not want to watch it because of your judgmental and very high standard expectations (ahem). In the end , this anime made my day (once again some of us has our own opinion, so try to not expect too much).
thank you for reading this 'till the end, I do hope it helped you boost your confidence to watch this... jk.

First thing that comes in my mind when I hear BL, Shounen ai and Yaoi are words that are "Disgusting", "Yuck!", etc. I am the type of person who loves straight stories like shoujo, romance, boyxgirl. BUT THIS MOVIE ENTIRELY CHANGED MY VIEW TO BOY'S LOVE and here are the reasons why:
I admit that I'm a girl in the past who loves romantic stuffs and watching anime such as Kimi ni Todoke, Sukitte Ii Nayo, etc. My eldest sister was the first one to recommend me a shounen ai movie which is "Classmate/Doukyuusei", I rejected her request since I'm that typical shoujo otaku. My sister
...
said it was a cute love story but I didn't bother to watch it. After a week passed, I saw the trailer in the youtube and I was totally engrossed by the animation style of the movie. Also my favorite V.A. was here, so I watched it.
MY REACTION:
IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT. I was really into the story, the plot, the characters, the romance, the animation and the humor. This is where my adventure of being a fujoshi began (June 12, 2017), I really thought Boys' Love is like hent*i but NOT!!! There is actually a very genuine plot in every BL story. I also initially thought of BL as a sinful act but no. This is like an entertainment or an inspiration for me, the movie was really good and it got me. I may be sinful because I love this genre but this is what makes me happy, I don't know why. Also, the music is freakin' sad but romantic at the same time, I LOVE IT!
RATING:
Overall, I rate this video as 10 because it is very genuine. I felt the sadness, happiness and I fell in love for the two of them. Honestly, this was my first time cheering on to boy's love. This movie really gave me feels and it lets you ride along with the scenes.
thank you for reading my point, I do hope you all understood it. *Awkward laugh*

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS
I am the type of person who usually read manga after watching the anime. I really loved how the Haikyuu!! (ANIME) individually shows each of the character's weakness and strengths. One thing I loved about Haikyuu is about the protagonists surprising moves and successful plans.
Most of the audience who watch the anime would be in love with the characters but for me, I follow the story. I love the humor and cooperation shown in each teams and characters but that is not enough for me. I hoped that the author should've given some character development that is satisfying. I really didn't
...
like how Hinata and Kageyama are still rivals in their teams up to the end, I know that that is one of the points in the story but I prefer that hinata and kageyama should be friends or teammates in heart. This rivals thing didn't really make me enjoy the story.
As I was reading the manga, I was utterly disappointed by how fast the story escalates. I was expecting a more challenging scenes as they lost the Spring Interhigh but the author just pressed a fast forward button and time skipped 4 or 5 more years then bam! they graduated like nothing happened. Kageyama was already in a national team, others were already professionals. However, I love how hinata became strong and independent in volleyball. Then after finishing his training in Brazil for two years, he was said to be joining a team where it is equal to Kageyama's... I was expecting another challenge on how Hinata would be joining the team but again... BAM! time skipped or never showed... A little disappointment again. So yeah, I was disappointed BUT- that disappointment has decreased due to the fact how Hinata has become strong.
in the end, Haikyuu was a really great story and anyone can watch, read and love it. I rate this as 7. 75, not high right? I admit that I loved all of the characters here, how they implement the knowledge of volleyball, how other characters influence them and the humor. As I mentioned above, I was disappointed in the pace of the story and many of my expectations were not met. But all in all I loved it.

I am not confident about my English so please bear with it. *awkward laughs*
Hearing "Isekai"anime for me is like a cringe, usually I don't watch an Isekai anime. One thing that makes me hate 'Isekai' is about men who simps a woman or rather, a harem. I actually didn't know that "The Rising of the Shield Hero" is an isekai, I literally thought it was an anime about adventures without game related like Rage of Bahamut but, it was an Isekai. Supposedly, I was about to stop watching it but there's this famous anime scene where Naofumi was accused of raping a "certain" woman then
...
that made me interested. So I continuously watched it because I wanted to see how the protagonist will develop his attitude and how he will have a comeback or revenge... AND THAT IS WHAT I LOVE FROM THIS STORY.
Have you ever thought of how annoying the most of the protagonists in other anime? Where he got betrayed or hated but still stays kind 'till the end and forgives them? There are many to mention: Naruto, Bam, etc. I admit they became strong but the character development that I would expect should be a little dark. Now this anime is the great example of (MY PREFERRED) character development, to become strong not only physically but also mentally or emotionally. One thing I loved about the MC up to the end of the series is about how he didn't fully trust the people who betrayed him and didn't believe to him. I was also very satisfied by how he cope up to all the hate around him and became stronger and smarter. Also, about the MCs of other "Isekai" anime that I hate would be love interest of the MC to a certain girl like SAO, Re:Zero ( LIKE, REALLY HE'S SIMP!), familiar of Zero (note: these are the only Isekais I know). If you compare these anime to Rising of the Shield Hero, it is different. Another thing I love about Naofumi is how he is cold outside at first to Raphtalia and Filo but deep inside he cared for them and sees them as his own daughters, he never cared about his love interest and continued in focusing to his duties (but I hope he will see Raphtalia as a woman cause I feel sorry for her.). Second best character is Raphtalia, she is a loyal waifu but I hope she should've helped Naofumi during the duel in the capital. However, she's strong and useful. All in all I love both these characters.
Second thing that made me love this series is about Naofumi's comeback to both "Bitch" and "Trash". That satisfied me but Naofumi should've made up a more satisfying punishment for them like: "They will start from being poor up until they will work hard and earn a title again" but nah, that's already okay for me.
OPENINGS 1&2 is lit. it is not that kind of boring but not that hyped also. But all in all it is great. OST was made by Kevin Penkin which is really great and best specially the saxophone.
I was supposed to rate this as a 10 but I deducted to how the story goes. If you've read my first paragraph I said there that I hate harem type. As I watched this, I really hoped Naofumi would find and form a strong party that consists men and women but in the end there are three women which (maybe) loves him. BUT--! I love how Naofumi would not see of them as something lewd or maybe something as perverted kind of thinking and treats them as precious people whom he trusts.
I do hope you would understand my point (although I focused on Naofumi mostly) and you will find this helpful.

Some of us might be disappointed in this series but for me it is okay. As you can see in my rating, I rated it as 8. First of all, I am reading the webtoon and I admit that some of the scenes were changed and removed but the anime didn't totally destroy my enjoyment while watching the series. While reading the webtoon (I'm sorry to say this), my first reaction was cringe but as the story goes on, the story makes sense but still some parts of the characters and story are cringey. Especially the part where bam talked to the black march, it
...
was a cringe for real. Honestly, some powers are like a copy of a certain anime characters and it is pretty boring sometimes. But...
First thing that amazed me is the animation, it is very enhanced than the webtoon. Also, Khun was made more gorgeous in the anime. I know that the anime is only for entertainment but some people are disappointed with the outcome (which I totally understand) however, if you didn't read the webtoon, I'm sure you would love the series. As for me, I love it.
WHY?
I understand that most of us who read the webtoon was disappointed but for me it was a bit satisfying and OK. There are some scenes in the webtoon that needed to be removed. There is a rumor that says the animation has been in production since 2018. Well, as a normal person, expecting your favorite manga/webtoon being animated is a little bit difficult to believe. Also, the anime studio that animated this webtoon was not that popular or high-rated that's why it is a little difficult for a webtoon series to have a very nice animation. These are my expectations but the animation studio pulled it off nicely and also, I'm sure the budget of animating is pretty high (I don't know how did webtoon pay for it). My point here is to say that we must enjoy the anime not to criticize it badly. Don't let your disappointment destroy their effort to make the first ever webtoon into anime. Also, SIU said that he didn't expect much from the anime. The higher your expectations are, the higher the disappointment will come.
Minus 2 points for:
OPENING & ENDING CREDITS
why? Just why? the songs were catchy but the animation (for opening) is a little bit effortless and too plain. All of the anime openings are very catchy and spoilers ( They also introduce every characters in the opening) but why is it only Bam walking and showing emotions with black cuts (I don't understand). Ending credits.... It was like a movie ending the song is even that great. why is it pure black...

This anime totally has the best plot twists in only 12 episodes. There are so many unexpected scenes here and so many character development. One thing that I wish is that, they should animate the manga up until the end. This should be a masterpiece but it didn't deserve this kind of being slept on. Honestly if they should've created a 24 episode of this anime, the anime will get hyped up since I read the manga and anime is waaaaay more better than the manga, I actually felt the thrill in the anime rather than the manga. Overall, this was so good and I
...
like that this is a masterpiece. The artist of this manga is so talented.
ENDING, OPENING & OSTs are so lit. Especially Isabella's lullaby with many different versions. ALL IN ALL SOUND IS GOAT FOR ME.
